Don't forget the part where they turn on Mansell Drive, a Pontiac appears out of nowhere. They show the Charger turning the corner, and the Pontiac is nowhere in site. When the camera moves back to get the Mustang in the scene, the Pontiac appear out of the blue. Kinda funny, I always thought.

Besides the lame "CSA Flag-Hating" scene, I felt the scene were Bo and Luke are trying to pass for Japanese Scientists was kinda dumb. I really don't think we'd ever see John Schnieder's and Tom Wopat's Bo & Luke either try to set each other on fire with a propane torch, and/or vacuum off the lab coat, in which the vacuum coughs up black soot on their faces.

I don't think that "magnet" material would scratch the paint. The decal should be soft and rubbery enough to not damage the paint, unless you're really clumsy.

Other than that kind of stuff, I would go see it again, but the original just can't be beat.
