  1. Just finished my version of Daisy's 1971 Road Runner. Technically her car was originally a 1974 Road Runner, and the later car (as depicted here) was actually a Satellite painted with the '74's Road Runner stripes.

Like with the General Lee artwork, I've taken a bit of artistic license here. I've added Road Runner decals to the grille, trunk and stripes, and since I haven't found a clear screen grab of the actual wheels, I've fitted it with period Mopar wheels that it could have left the factory with. The white letter Goodyear Polyglas GT tires are also my addition.

  2. Well I've got to give the points to BL there for being first, and boluke was right as well. He was actually JJ Carver's right-hand man. To be honest, I'd forgotten Black Jack Bender - season 2 seems so long ago :).

I've got 2 more 'Undercover Dukes' questions today:

    1) What book did Boss have to read to Rosco so he could get to sleep?.

    2) When Bo and Luke go to report to the agent at the newsstand, what magazine does Bo pretend to read?.

  3. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I listened to the interview last night, then finished watching season 7, so I got to watch 'Remembering the Outlaw: A Tribute to Waylon Jennings' straight afterwards.

Just the reunion movies to go now before I can start all over again :).

  4. You can get a 1:18 model of the black one, although only just over 1000 were made (I've posted this in another thread in the General Lee section):

I think Daisy would go for the yellow one as she commented on the color being her favorite when she won the Mustang in 'No More Mr. Nice Guy'.

Those Pink Panther/Moulin Rouge Mopars are quite striking, but I'm not sure I can see Bo and Luke being happy driving one :).

Just found this link to a model of the General Grant ie. '69 charger in blue.

  5. Here's a commercial from earlier this year for SpecSavers (Europe/Australia/New Zealand opticians). It's a parody of a commercial for Lynx deodorant.

The Walker's Crisps commercials I mentioned a few posts ago are still going strong. The latest includes Lionel Richie.
