  1. I got this from an LSU site. http://www.tigerweekly.com/article2109.html It seems they were only doing the casting forms for extras for today, Thurs Nov 11, only..... Dangit......
  2. Brian Thanks for the news from ERTL. I have a couple of different 1/18th scale Generals, one has black interior, one has tan interior and one has tan and the 1/64th car...Now I got to get another one, I don't know if it is ggod or bad..LOL Darrell
  3. Malchus Welcome to Hazzardnet....and let me say it's about itm you signed on..Enjoy yourself around these parts.... I would love to get that ERTL diecast, but like Tempest said it will go to high for my liking... Darrell
  4. I would love to see the General in a royal blue color. I think the General needs a color that it make it stand out. This a tough question.....
  5. batonrouge That is some update. I can't thank you enough for it. Please keep posting updates like that when ever you get a chance. Iam sure it will be appreciated very much from everyone here on Hazzardnet... Darrell
  6. Daney Thanks very much for the schedule and the link to the pics and clips.... So what did ya think of the show??? Darrell
  7. Me picking a date?????? That would be like Enos running Hazzard county, if y'all can even picture that. Let's get everyone who is interested on here and see when we are all available to chat together.... Fri? Sat? Sun? Time? told y'all I am no good at this.... Darrell
  8. Yeah it would be nice if they filmed in the original locations, Covington and Conyers GA. Not sure how much of the original settings are still in good shape to film....There is a website that pictures of the settings back then and of today, some didn't look too good...
  9. Anyone watch the Outlaws concert on CMT last week. With all the people on there like Montgomery Gentry, Kid Rock , Gretchen Wilson, Hank Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Big & Rich, I think that would give us a glimpse of what direction the music should go in. That would be the ideal line-up . But the producers might go with some other artists. I guess getting the rights and liscenses for the songs is another story. Darrell
  10. Thanks Sgibbe and welcome to Hazzardnet..... Hope ya keep us updated on what's goin' on down there.....It will be much appreciated.... Darrell
  11. Those are some pics of the "Xtreme Lee"....That is a great looking car. I love the scheme as if the flag and numbers are flowing fast through the wind....Just awesome How did ya do at the SEMA show? Make any contacts ? Let us know.. Darrell
  12. Randy does have a great voice for the Balladeer.....BUT I think he has that innocence about him in his acting that would make him a great Enos. just watch his roles on Matlock - the Andy Griffith show and in Black Dog with Patrick Swayze. Let's see who Hollywood has in mind for Enos, probably no one we would expect I guess.. Darrell
  13. After watching it a couple of times the only one , in my opinion- which I know don't mean anything, was Gretchen Wilson. Hank Jr did a great job also. Come on Hazzardnet, someone must have watched it........ Darrell
  14. Oh lord.......Thank God I am trading it it in soon......
  15. Hey Y'all Did anyone watch the Outlaws concert on CMT ? Hank Jr, Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich , Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Hetfield (Metallica)Montgomery Gentry, Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter, Tanya Tucker performed . It got me to thinking that this could be pretty much on what the Dukes movie soundtrack should have on it. Kid Rock did a country version of Queen's Fat Bottom Girls ...I kinda liked it...the only performance I was not thrilled about was Tanya Tucker singing Me And Bobby McGee.... Any other thoughts on this concert?? Darrell
  16. That is not good to hear....I have a Saturn .....I never thought of pushing past highway speed and sure as heck now won't even try.....Agreeing with MaryAnne on this one ... Darrell
  17. Val You made voting this election year fun. I think when I go vote again I will thinking of your little mishap...LOL..... I voted this year. In my opinion only, I felt we didn't have a good candidate who had it all together. Kerry had some good points and Bush had some good points and both had bad views too. It was a very difficult decision. Let's us just hope and pray America will come away stronger then ever before. God Bless America Darrell
  18. I am so sorry I missed it, I was looking forward to finally really chatting with y'all. Unfortunately we had a death in the family and the funeral was on Saturday. We ended up staying with family over the weekend.... I hope there will be another chat soon . I look forward to it.... Darrell
  19. Brian Thanks for that..I remember about the Britany Spears thing......I sure hope they don't mix Jessica Simpson with Willie or Travis. Maybe the ideal situation , well at least to me anyway, is to have 2 soundtracks. One for the country /southern rock and one for the pop music. I know that is too much for the record companies to do. Just wishful thinking on my part.... Darrell
  20. George Thorogood????? HEHEE........Heck no....Dan Baird is definately not ike ol' George. He is more fun and witty in his music. Heck anyone who does in concert AC/DC's Sin City followed by ABBA's Dancing Queen is something else. I have followed both the Satellites and Dan Baird since high school. I saw the Georgia Satellites at a place called the Ritz in NYC back in 88 and Joey Ramone came out and sang I Wanna Be Sedated with them. I have seen Dan Baird numerous times over the years at clubs in NYC , he really is something else with his band.... Darrell
  21. I don't think James Hetfield is the right fit to sing Good Ol' Boys.I don't know about him though. I didn't think he was as good as I hoped when Metallica did Skynyrd's Tuesday's Gone. Not a bad version though. I would love to see Rhett Atkins redo it. I love his version of the Eddie Rabbit song - Drivin' My Life Away from the Black Dog(Patrick Swayze, Randy Travis) soundtrack. He kicks tail on that song. There are probably so many people we can all come up with to re do Good Ol' Boys. And a lot of artists will do it proud if they ever redid it., well they better do it right. Darrell
  22. MaryAnne Being that I am a huge Georgia Satellites fan, I can tell you what it is. The person who designed it put together the Confederate battle flag and the Union Jack( Flag of the United Kingdom). I think it was a great idea to mix the Southern rock and British blues together, as what the Satellites do in their music Brian - chevhell Thanks for posting that about the flags. Darrell.
  23. Give up a Saturday night to chat in Hazzardnet???? You betcha.......Let's get the chat room as busy as the Boar's Nest on a Saturday night.... Darrell
  24. I like Steve Earle . Shoot I have the albums Copperhead Road, Exit O and Guitar Town on vinyl, got them when they first came out in the late 80's. How about the song Good Ol' Boy ( gettin tough) .. I think one of Ste Earle's best albums is The Mountain - the bluegrass one he did with The Del McCoury Band and Train A Comin - the acoustic one he did when he got out of prison in the mid 90's... Where did ya hear about the stuff lined up for the soundtrack? Who is going to be on it? Darrell
  25. I love that.....My wife would kill me though if that was in my living room. Darrell
