I've been watching a LOT of Olympics.  Getting over my second bout of the flu this year while still dealing with horrible autoimmune issues. But, I'M STILL ALIVE AND KICKING! LOL.

Well, we expected about an inch of snow and that it would melt in time for us to go over to my sister's for Christmas dinner and my birthday party. We ended up getting about 3 1/2 inches of snow and in our area, that's "snowed in" because they don't plow the mile of road from our house to the main arteries. No BBQ Christmas dinner and cheesecake dessert for us. We made the best of it though, made a snowman. Hubby made fudge and raspberry cream pie. He's throwing together some last minute chicken and stuffing for dinner.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

I have been online for 24 years. Net neutrality rules have only been in place in the US since 2015. Attempts by ISPs to throttle or otherwise mess with their customers' online experience over the years have been met with lawsuits and the government has generally sided with customers. Since 2015, I've noticed less competition (i.e. there are fewer options for internet in many areas). People I know in rural areas have actually lost home internet access and have to drive a half hour into town or more to use libraries or free wifi at local businesses. I don't think you have a lot to worry about.
In other words, the Internet did just fine for the 46 years before net neutrality rules were in place. I think it'll be fine with the rollback.

Here's the place where you post one or more things that you have done in the last 24 hours. It can be anything you want it to be.....boring-exciting....or anything in between. The only rules are that it has to be true and it has to be fit for a family website. There are no limits to what you can post.
I just got done watching Charlie Brown Christmas.

Someone else here might be able to say otherwise, but I don't recall seeing it any other time than that episode.

One of the reasons I started it was to find more Dukes fans online interested in having online discussions and pointing them this way to liven up the forums. Yeah, there will be different discussions going on both places, but I'm hoping there will be a lot of crossover from FB to here.

Thanks. Went to the doctor today and looks like I'm in for 3 months of physical therapy. Ah well, as long as it gets me feeling better!

"Meet" might be an exaggeration. I think I only got there half an hour early, but got lucky with the site I picked. With about 10 minutes to go, the stewards unexpectedly opened a barrier which took us to the edge of the area they were going to be walking around. After that it was just a case of sticking out your arm and hoping they'd shake your hand when the time came.

After the walkabout, Charles got to try his hand at hurling with one of our local champions who's known as King Henry. The newspapers liked that in their captions.

I know I don't visit here often anymore. Real life has certainly gotten in my way this year. But every time I do visit, I'm glad to see you guys keeping this place going. I just wanted to say thank you.

If any of you are signed up for the newsletter, you've probably got an email a few days ago stating that I'm going to attempt to revive it. Probably on a monthly basis for now, maybe every other month, depending on how I'm doing. That said, if any of you have ideas for the newsletter, feel free to share them here or in PM. I've already gotten a kind offer from Mark B to provide some content (thanks!).

I'm just smiling from ear to ear to "see" you around MM. In fact my smile is probably as big as Enos's right now. The biggest thing I would like to see is updates on the stars and their lives. Thanks for the tip about Daisy's upcoming appearance. Folks around here are usually pretty good about posting when things happen like Big Ed Little passing on but I imagine they miss things occasionally.

Thank you for creating the HazzardNet and maintaining it for all these years MM. Hazzard County has been a big part of my life since I was 19 and it first came on. There are two places I turn when life gets crazy....God and the Dukes. That reminds me of my favorite quote from the show. It is from Jesse's old flame Lucinda Meadows in the episode The Legacy. "I put myself in the hands of the Lord and He put me in the hands of the Dukes and I guess maybe you couldn't get a better combination than that." The Dukes would still have been a big part of my life even if the HN had never existed but thanks to you MM the Dukes experience has been so much better. I miss the folks who used to be here in the past but the folks here now who are the new cornerstones of this place are fantastic and I consider them to be my friends and am very appreciative of everything they post. We love you MM.

Meadowmufn got a reaction from Hobie Hartkins in Kid With Whiney Voice ( A Boy's Best Friend?)
In several scenes, Danny Cooksey's voice was dubbed by well-known voice artist June Foray, best known for characters such as Rocky (of Rocky and Bullwinkle) and Natasha Fatale. Not sure why, but perhaps the sound quality wasn't great for those scenes and Danny wasn't available for looping. Not one of my favorite episodes. June Foray also dubbed Sport's voice in Twilight Zone's "The Bewitchin' Pool", one of my least favorite episodes of that series as well. I did love her turn as Talky Tina in "Living Doll" episode of Twilight Zone, however. She passed away a few months ago at the age of 99. She would have turned 100 last week (September 18th).

I've met the cast both at events and on the reunion sets. Tom was definitely the least friendly of them all. I hope he gets the help he needs though. Sounds like he's a mess.
Wish I could have made it to this event, but my health wasn't cooperating. A big thank you to those of you who went sharing your experiences!

Thanks so much for sharing this Mark. I'm excited about visiting. I just love Ben. He's a true fan of the show and would have been even if he would have never been an actor on it. He really is someone we can all look up to.
