  1. Hi Dixie...saw you were on and thought I'd say I just read your update for your story on ff.net. "The First Time". Another great chapter! Great descriptions, emotions. The characters are done awesome! I reviewed the chapter, but thought I'd say something since I saw you were on! You look to be busy writing - glad to see your muses are cooperating with you! Thanks again for sharing your talent!

  2. Well it h as been over a month since you were last on it says. :( I really hope that you are doing well and that all is well with you. Hope to hear from you soon!

  3. Hey Roger...how are you? Hope all is well with you. Sorry I missed you the other day. ;) Things are well here. Once again, I want to thank you for giving me the permission to explain the races or talk about them at least. I may be boring everyone to sleep, but I have fun writing them...especially when Gordon has a good race. (Though do feel bad for always putting Gordon in there and not all the others...but how'm I to talk about 43 drivers' races? LOL Though don't want to slight others by not talking about how their driver finished up or how their driver did...) I hope you are able to catch the race Sunday night (a night race on a Sunday. Great ain't it? LOL) if not, hope you are busy doing something fun and relaxing. Perhaps enjoying and spoiling the grand kids?

  4. Hi TXDaisy. How's it going? Hope all is well. Pick a favorite driver yet? LOL (YOu know I've gotta ask!)

  5. Did you get to watch the All-Star race last night? As I said in my post, the only positive t hing about the race itself was that it wasn't for points. Well Gordon and Edwards finished right besides each other at the end of the race...too bad it was for 20 & 21 spot - dead last. Meaning both our guys didn't finish the dang thing! :( :(:( ERRRr. Not only that, but Johnson had to spin out at the end too. Glad that was only the all star race. Hopefully they will have better luck next Sunday at Charolette. (Figured it'd be a long all star race when Gordon hit the wall on the first lap!)

  6. I really hope you are doing alright...

  7. Hi Lori - it was great hearing from you and know that you're still alive! HA HA. Hope your exam went well today. Good luck with it. Things are OK here. Good luck with the Army too. :D

  8. Hey TXDaisy! It was g reat hearing from you. I hope you have a great time at the b day party...and that you do get to watch some of the race! I am missing hte prerace show now :( have so much to do. And yet...am I doing it? No. LOL. Am horrible at procasination. Anyway, I will watch the race and will be glad to fill you in on all that you miss! Hope all is well with you! :)

  9. Once more, hope all is well with you and your family.

  10. I just read an article on Yahoo's NASCAR page how this week marks the tenth year anniversary of Adam Petty's death. It was a very touching and sad article - especially the link on the article about Kyle and his wife Pattie. How sad...for how young he is he left a legacy with Kyle's charity that he has for the kids.

  11. Well...I haven't heard from you in awhile and it looks like it's been awhile since you were last logged in. I hope all is well and OK with you! Hope to hear from you soon.

  12. Thank-you Redneck Girl! :D It has been a pretty good day today. They threw a potlock at work for me today - they do that for all the birthdays. That was fun and nice. And tomorrow we will be going out to eat at my all time favorite restaurant with my parents, my sister and her husband and my neice...then I get to watch my neice this weekend. Am really looking forward to it.

Dang you are keeping busy! Guess that keeps you outta trouble. HA HA. (That was from Garrett ;) ) Good luck with prom and graduation...you should have fun. Your project sounds hard and fun. Hope you enjoyed it.

    Thanks again!

  13. Though I am thinking they are right -the media makes too much out of things. They take what they say and make it into a big ordeal that really isn't there. I am just hoping that this is the end of things and that they will continue to be team mates and friends and work together...(I can always hope, right?) What's your take on the whole thing?

OK I will shut up now...you probably considered yourself lucky last week when I didn't bring it up. Huh? LOL. Hope all is well with you.

  14. So I am going to give Johnson another chance. I do like Johnson, but Gordon will always be my all time favorite driver (if you can't tell...)...so he better not do anything else to him! LOL. I hate this whole rivalry/feud the media is putting on them or even Johnson/Gordon called it a rivalry. I always liked thinking of them as friends though now they are saying they are friends, but not as they had been before. I'd much rather them be friends and work together and not against each other. But I guess they didn't ask me nor would they care what I had to say even if I did tell them. Well I guess they had a phone conference with eachother and Hendrick and everything is OK between them.

  15. LOL...I just looked back at my last few messages after the race. I am surprised I didn't write anything about the whole incident between Gordon and Johnson - know I've been reading and hearing all about it all week now. And am getting sick of it already. LOL. Was totally frustrated and upset at Johnson to pull a move like that after the race and for most of the week...especially after Texas. Afterall, how could he do that to Gordon? The one who brought him to NASCAR? His boss? LOL. But mostly how could he do that to my favorite driver? LOL ERRR. Anyway, was glad to finally hear his side of the story and why he did what he did and came to understand why. Kinda doubted the truth behind it, afterall, they do have team communications in the car, why hadn't he just called it in to Gordon? But I just listened in to his in car radio while it had happened and he immediately said he made a bad choice and wanted to apologize to Gordon's spotter. Not that it helped any. . .

  16. Well I hope that you are feeling and doing well...and that work isn't keeping you too busy or stressed. Hope your job search is going well and that you will get the job that you are wanting. Must be frustrating and bothersome to be in your position. I hope it will settle itself out for you and work out for the better.

  17. Well I was going for Jamie Mac and for Jr for you there at the end...McMurray was doing pretty well and would have had it if Harvick didn't wobble him like he did. Am not a big fan of Harvick at all, but would much rather see him get it than Montoya who I was fearing would take it from Jamie Mac. Am definately not a fan of Montoya so at least he wasn't the one that won it. That would have only made things that much worse. LOL (Am I bad or what for feeling htat way about him?) Well no one went airborne today, which is good. Didn't see exactly where Edwards finished but seems like it was in the top fifteen, but I could be wrong about that. Am looking forward to hearing what you thought of Talledega. :)

  18. OK sorry...I had to complain. Just frustrated with it at the moment. Am looking froward to Richmond next Saturday night...night racing and hopefully Gordon can turn his luck around and gain some more points. LOL

  19. Well Talledega just got over with...did you get to watch it? What you think? LOL. Was doing ok with it until six laps remaining when Burton's accident collected Gordon. I guess I should feel lucky since he did get to finish on the lead lap. But then Johnson gets in his own accident and takes him out completely...only to show it could have been worse for Gordon. But still...both my drivers get wrecked on the finishing laps. Just so frustrated with it! Not so much with Johnson's, but with Gordon's. Gordon dropped five point spots due to his 22nd finish. ERRRR. When is his luck going to turn good? He gets so close...

  20. Long time no see! I hope all is well with you and that life is treating you well. All is well here other than a frustrating muse that won't cooperating with me...in other words, nothing new here. LOL. Just thought I'd send a hello out to you. It's been awhile!

  21. Long time no see Redneck girl! I hope everything is well with you and that life is treating you well. Not a whole lot to report here other than a frustrating muse that won't let me write. ARGH! LOL. Anyway, just thought I'd send a hello out your way since it's been awhile!

  22. Yeah I noticed Stewart talk of Gordon as being a team mate. I know Stewart-Haas has some affiliation with Hendrick. They drive Hendrick engines, but I don't know what else they have with each other. I am sure that is what they are talking about when they say each other is team mates. (sorry was meaning to say that before, but forgot. :) )

  23. Thanks for rooting for Gordon for me. :D He sounded so dominant. I am glad you were able to listen to it at work. I listened and saw some during my half hour break and then when I got off listend on the radio and watched the last ten laps or so on TV. As I said, I was hoping Jr would pull off a win after Gordon got out. Figured after how it sounded Johnson raced Gordon, that he could sit out a win or two. LOL. Oh well, Jr did pretty good it sounds like. He moved up in points - going in the right direction.

I hope you are having a good week and that you'll get word soon on your jobs and all that. :)

  24. Saw the exchange between Gordon and Johnson too...they didn't sound too happy with each other on their radio that they played on the video. Some sarcastic remarks. Hate to see that because I do like them both and do like seeing them be close - friend wise and all. But like they said they'll work it out. The media act like this is the first time they've raced like that...one race comes to mind with them banging on each other...can't think of the track at the moment but Johnson ended up winning that race. I think they are both very competitive drivers out there and once they're in the car, everything is out the window. Though wish Johnson would share some of that luck with Gordon that he has. LOL...I know it is more than luck, he is talented, but how can someone escape so many accidents? He was right next to Gordon when he was involved in the Stewart and Edwards' accident and yet...LOL
