The Doctor looked to Bo when he spoke and nodded with a small smile, "Do you think you could call him for us and get him down here. I need to go back into the surgery room and check on things."

The Doctor walked out of the operating room slowly, the nurse that escorted the three to the waiting room having notified the doctor of their arrival. He looked to them with a serious expression as he said in a grave tone of voice. "The nurse informs me you're here about Miss Davenport? Im sorry to say that she is in a very critical condition...she has lost a lot of blood and there is severe internal damage...we're doing all that we can to save her right now..." He let the words sink in to the occupants of the room. When he got no questions or answers of any kind for that matter, he continued... "It is a deep gunshot wound to the stomach and we are prepping her for surgery as we speak...all we need is a family member's consent in case the worst should happen."

The blow to Jack's jaw had been so powerful it knocked him out.The football tackle had knocked out Jack's buddy out cold as well. Lori still lay limp and growing paler by the minute. The blood was still seeping through Candy's shirt.

Jack stopped the car to an immediate halt and him and his friend jumped out, leaving Candy and Lori in the car. Jack's friend ran over quickly and having his fists in the air, told Bo, "Unless you like how your face is arranged pretty boy, you'll leave well enough alone and run on home!!" Jack's friend swung at Bo. Jack meanwhile left the car unattended and got in front of Luke, holding up his clenched fists readu tp fight, Jack swung at Luke. a fight broke out.

Jack's friend looked with his eyes wide,"Floor it!!!" Jack told him with a snarl of his lips and a loud growl like sound,"It is floored!!" Jack knew that they would get ahead of him but he kept on anyway.

Jack saw them pulling up beside of him he shot them a look of disgust and steered his car into the General Lee hoping to do some damage.

Lori, still unconcious and unaware of anything laid there blood seeping through Candy's shirt. Jack stared through his rearview mirror and grumbled,"Its them Duke Boys!! they're after us!!" Jack sped on almost to Widow's Peak. He looked to his buddy and informed him," We're almost there, when i give the signal we'll jump out and let this car roll off the cliff and let these two fall to their deaths, ones almost dead anyways so it don't matter." Jack looked back to them again and grinned.

Lori lay there lifeless, breathing faintly. Jack looked back at them and laughed with pure joy of the sight of someone dying. They sped off through the woods and on to the dirt road, heading off towards Widow's Peak.

Lori was running as fast as she could, suddenly hearing a yell after her. She turned to look ,seeing a furious Jack chasing after her. In that split second, a loud bang sent her stumbling backwards and onto the floor, hands clutching her stomach in pain. She could feel something warm running through her fingers as her already weakened state grew weaker as pain coursed through her nerves... She soon realized it was blood and moved her hands to see the gun shot wound to her stomach, before her world turned black just seconds later. Jack stopped beside her unconcious and bleeding form, out of breath, and grinned as he saw the blood bloosming underneath her shirt. Without a second thought, he picked her up over his shoulder and headed back to the hut, throwing her into the back of the car with a horrified Candy as if she were nothing more than a rag doll.

im soo sorry i forgot about making a storyline for you. but if youd like i could join in with ya on your story.

maybe the special beer that they are talking about could be Ice or Hot tea?? it does look alike. And the moonshine on there was probably water, or flavored water?? now im not saying anyone is wrong im just giving my opinion, i read somewheres on a site, i cant remember now, that there is an acohol censoring at least as of right now i think, it might not have been durig the filming of the series.

Jack and his friend heard the loud crash and instantly ran downstairs, only to be greeted with the surprise of Lori shimming out of the broken window, dodging the jagged pieces and Candy already on the outside. Jack quickly grabbed his friend by the shoulder and pushed him back the way they had come and leaping up the stairs two at a time to reach the top. By the time they were outside, Candy was already at the CB in the car, Lori beside her weak and slightly out of breath - she still hadn't gotten over the hard blow to the head the night before.

Lori, being as sly as she was, looked around the old, dusty room. In the corner, she saw an old chipped and dirty hammer. Lori grinned as she muttered under her breath "Ah-ha!" She headed over there and reached down, grabbing the old hammer. She looked over her shoulder at Candy with a half, cheeky smile. "Well, I know a way now..." She looked to the window and then back to Candy, holding the hammer behind her head before swinging at he old, dusty window with all her might, grinning as it fell to pieces with an almighty crash. Lori motioned hurriedly for Candy to come over so she could crawl through first as loud footsteps were heard from up above. Lori looked up to the ceiling and jerked her head to Candy motioning for her to quickly climb through.

this is personally one of my most favorite town people, besides miss tizdale lol. Granny Annie reminded me of my Granny Annie! when i heard about this episode with her in it i was like,"Do what now?!" i asked my mom when did my great grandma become an actress lol. sadly my great grandma aint here with us no more, guess thats why i like this episode so much. Now no before anyone says it, my poor lil ole' grandma didn't make counterfeit money either lol!!

Lori looked at Candy and softly whispered... "It's alright Candy...and....I'm sorry too...sorry for letting a sucker like him come between our friendship. You helped me out more than a few times, now its my time to return the favor." 'If only I knew how...' She thought as she turned back around and stared at the floor intently. She now not only felt sorry for Luke, but was starting to think about Bo in a way she never did before. It was odd, when Bo walked by her not speaking yesterday it hurt her more than ever and Lori couldn't explain it. In fact, she was hoping more than ever that Bo would bound through the door and come to their rescue...more than she wanted Luke to be following which was how it usually went. As her thoughts drifted, she quickly shook her head and turned back to Candy with a smile. "Hey,we're tough women...we can get outta this mess. If there's one thing I learned from hanging around the Duke boys all my life, it's never give up," Lori smiled at her dearest friend. "If it makes ya feel any better...I forgive ya." With that, Lori reached around Candy and gave her a friendly hug. "Friends?"

Lori soon noticed the tears in Candy's eyes, and had to squeeze her eyes shut to try and stop her own tears. Lori knew how much Luke meant to Candy and she also knew how much Candy meant to Luke. "Ye..yes... I do understand Candy, I do understand..." Lori replied her dark, icy brown eyes melting quickly into a soft, chocolaty colour. She bent down beside Candy and softly whispered... "I know what its like to love someone as much as you do Luke... and I also know how it feels to be hurt, by your own best friend." All the time that Lori had been speaking, she maintained a soft and kind look...but there was no mistaking the distinct hurt undertones in her words.

Lori, trying to work as quickly and quietly as possible, set about cutting through the tightly tied rope that had her hands bound together. After a few minutes, the rope snapped free and Lori grinned, quickly reaching down her legs to untie the rope that had her ankles bound as well. Soon, all her ropes were free and she could finally rid of herself of the nasty cloth that had her gagged. Not too soon after, she quickly reached round the pole and got to work cutting through the ropes that had Candy bound to it, before moving onto her legs as Candy removed the gag once her hands were free. However, as soon as Candy's feet were free, Lori was standing over her, hands on her hips. She was still enraged at the blonde who had stolen Luke's heart and betrayed her and now was a good a time as any to confront her about it. When Candy looked up, she was met with a look that would have made the devil shake in his cowboy boots. When Lori spoke, her voice seemed to carry a venom that could kill in a heartbeat. "Why Candy?! Why would you ever want to hurt Luke like that huh?! He thinks the world of you and yet you sit there with him treating him like he's someone special to you, when really he's just part of your master plan!" When Candy opened her mouth to speak, Lori quickly jumped in again, not giving her the chance to speak until she was ready to hear what Candy wanted to say. "No, don't tell me. You were using him to get back at me...but the tables turned on you didn't they! Now your the one being hurt as well as me!"

Lori, still sore from the nasty bump on her head, slowly opened up her eyes and blinked, trying to get everything into focus. Lori swallowed and moved her aching jaw, finding then her mouth filled with a gag. Starting to panic a little, she then tried to move, only to find that she was bound hand and foot, tightly. Quickly, she started struggling to get into a sitting position. As she finally managed to push herself into sitting, she looked around and soon spotted Candy a little way away, tied in much the same way she was and who looked about as frightened and shaken up as Lori was feeling too. Making a small movement to get Candy's attention, she then proceeded to try and scoot over to Candy. After a long while of quiet shuffling, Lori finally managed to reach Candy who was watching her. Looking up, Lori caught Candy's eye, coughing a little from the labourous movements, before whispering to her in a muffled voice. She could only pray that Candy understood what she was saying. Lori spoke to Candy in a muffled voice,"Candy, reach..... my back pocket....get my knife.. " When all she got back was a confused glance from Candy, she quickly scooted round and brought her hands up to indicate the bulge in her back pocket where her pocket knife was. If anyone who knew the Dukes had been around at this point, it would be so clear to them that Lori had obviously spent a lot of time watching the Dukes get out of tight scrapes like these ones, even helping sometimes which was very true. A large part of her childhood and been playing Cops and Robbers with Bo and Luke which had involved the Cop tying the two robbers up and the two robbers having to get out. Of course...Bo and Luke had nearly always been the robbers which was how they had invented many of their houdini like escape from their bonds. And Lori had even helped contrust a few of them.
