  1. MinDuke, Thanks for the info. Yes, I saw your questions but they're a little tough without recently seeing it. Did you see my questions about "Coltrane vs Duke"? (previous page). You must have missed them because you usually respond. By the way, nice thread about the DukesFest. Did you read my map idea in "hobbies"? With your database, I wonder if you've ever considered it.

  2. Wow, what a coincidence, I just watched "The Fugitive" last night (season 4..disc 2) In the Bonanza version, do they have Hoss jumping a horse?....in the Dukes "The Fugitive" they got Boss jumping a motorcycle....yeeeehaaw!!

  3. Well, I'm into the fourth season now of marking down things for my map. (see previous threads). This thing is going to be huge. Maybe I could talk my wife into letting me use one of the living room walls to draw it on. LOL

  4. Sorry, neither one is close. Here's a hint. It would be found in a hymnal. In the meantime here's some trivia questions from "Coltrane vs Duke".

Easy question) What was Boss hoping to acquire by having Rosco sue the Dukes?

Medium question) Which book did Rosco have Boss read to him several times while he was pretending to be injured?

Hard question) What year did Uncle Jesse say his ancestors got the Dukes land? I'm gone.

  5. Hi Joy, Welcome to Hazzard County. We hope you stay here for a long time. The Hazzardnet brings us a lot of joy....we hope it will you too. By the way, do you have a favorite character? Mine's Uncle Jesse but I love them all...even Boss Hogg. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone. After rereading your post, I'm thinking maybe that Luke is your favorite?

  6. Hey !1976, good job of remembering the part about one hour. I keep track of names and certain people from other counties in my notebook but not businesses. For some reason, I was thinking Capitol City had a hospital but I'm not sure. Also, you're right Lukas, Hazzard is not that far from the Tennesse line. Here's something that might help. Remember when Cooter worked on the car of that older race driver? The car wrecked during a practice run. Cooter thought it was his fault but it wasn't and sold the garage to Boss to help the guy. Which hospital did they take him to? For some reason I can't remember the name of the episode....getting old.

  7. In case you're looking for that, it's the special feature on disc 1 in which the 3 Dukes are doing commentary about the episode "Double Dukes". She says it at the end where Donna Fargo is singing. Here's another trivia question....in the episode where diamonds are stuffed in a Bugs Bunny doll, the female thief pretends she is a reporter for the Atlanta Tribune so she can get in the Dukes house. What is the name of the reporter she is pretending to be? I'll give a clue in 24 hours if nobody gets it. Possum on a gumbush I'm gone.

  8. Yea, I've wondered that. I'm making a map of Hazzard County so I try to focus more on closer than longer distances but it is something to think about. With other places that aren't inside Hazzard County, they occasionally gave approximations to the distances but I don't recall anything that was ever said to even make an educated guess of the distance to Atlanta. In one of the Georgia episodes they said the Dukes make an annual trip there so I'm guessing that it is farther away from where the episodes were actually filmed or they'd go to Atlanta more often. I'm gone.

  9. I didn't remember Brenda Lee being on the show either but Catherine Bach claimed that she was (see special features on the season 4 DVD). I guess she messed up. That makes me wonder about her accuracy when she claimed Denver was born on Dec 25 when everybody else thinks it's May 11. Thanks for Buck Owens, I can't believe I forgot that legend. And thanks for reminding me about Mel's second show. By the way, that was awesome trivia about James Best painting those. Here's one for you, which episode did Daisy get Dixie? I bet MinDuke won't need a clue for that one. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.

  10. Welcome to the Hazzardnet DaisyLynn. The best way of consoling yourself about the Dukes leaving TV is buying the DVDs. Then they'll always be on your TV....and you're right...it is the "best show" ever. Those people you're talking about probably never even saw it. I'm gone.

  11. Okay, now I'm embarressed. Thanks though for catching that. Once again, I have to be more careful with those clues. Thank goodness we have the DVDs to settle any arguement. By the way, you were right about Skunk Hollow. Here's some trivia that someone might help me with. I am making a list of all the country music stars that have appeared on the original series. I'm probably missing some. Can someone tell me if they have a complete list?

    Donna Fargo

    Brenda Lee

    Johnny Paycheck

    Mickey Gilley

    Oak Ridge Boys

    Loretta Lynn

    Tammy Wynette

    Hoyt Axton

    Dottie West

    Freddie Fender

    Roy Orbison

    Mel Tillis (didn't sing)

    Janie Fricke (didn't sing)

Waylon Jennings (saved the best for last)

  12. Woops, I goofed. The answer is Jude Emery but I messed up who said it. I remembered that it was a lawman and wasn't Rosco or Enos. It turns out that it was Grady Byrd. I usually double check my questions before I put them up but I guess I should be as careful about my (spontaneous) clues. Thanks for catching that....I'd sure like to see that database of yours. Did you ever see the hobby thread where I talk about the map I'm making? I'm gone.
