  1. Time sure flies when you are flying into ponds. Happy birthday Cletus. Keep chasing those Duke boys....and we'll keep watching! YEEHHAWWW!
  2. You too Boss.....and soon to be birthday boy.
  3. I know Cale's death was posted in the NASCAR News section but it just seemed right to put it here too since this is his thread. What a sad day for NASCAR and for Hazzard County. He was Bo and Luke's favorite driver and it was so awesome to have him as the feature character on 2 different episodes. We love you Cale and you will always be missed.
  4. It's spelled with a Z......Miz Tisdale, not Miss.
  5. Coy was an X test driver in Detroit
  6. After all the corn dogs were quickly wolfed down and Jesse started to walk away, Bill called him over, talking loudly over the engine noise. Bill still didn't have his helmet on but he knew the race wouldn't start until he was ready. "I just want to thank you Mr. Duke for your hospitality....and for your friendship. You and your family are a classic example of Southern hospitality and I'm honored to meet you all." They smiled at each other and shook hands. Then Jesse's face turned serious, even a bit angry looking, even though he was faking it. "Don't get too used to it because in a few minutes we won't be friends. I will be cheering for the General Lee to beat you by a country mile." They both then smiled. "Mr. Duke, I know this is a strange time to ask but why did you never have kids of your own?" Jesse laughed "Well, Lavinia and I just decided that chasing those 3 around was more than enough. All 3 were a handful, especially Bo. Lavinia even nicknamed him Chase since she spent so much time chasing him around and watching him chase stuff around." Bill laughed "Chase? Strange nickname but I kinda like it! Now if you excuse me sir I have a race to win." Jesse laughed. "Ha! I should call you Chase since you are going to be the one chasing the General all race and eating his dust." Bill returned the laugh and as he was putting his helmet on responded "We shall see sir. We shall see."
  7. Just make sure it's holly and not the stuff the Dukes found in that water heater they picked up.
  8. strange VISITOR to hazzard (that was easy thanks to boss...lol)
  9. Jesse wasn't on the crew and wasn't supposed to be getting near the cars this close to the race start but that didn't concern him. He walked up to the General Lee, expecting to see his nephews behind the raised hood but it was only Bo. Jesse caught the corner of Bo's eye immediately and he looked over at him. "Oh, hey there Uncle Jesse! I was beginning to worry you weren't going to make it. I thought you were going on a date with Miz Tisdale." Bo smiled like he had gotten away with something. "Ha Ha. You are a funny one" responded Jesse. "Shouldn't you be focusing on the race instead of fantasizing about women. I'm starting to suspect you are the one with a crush on Emma. You are always joking about her." Bo laughed and looked back at the engine, reaching his hand in and getting serious. "I am Uncle Jesse. I'm just making sure nobody has gotten under the hood and sabotaged the General. And right now Luke is getting some of Boss's overpriced corn dogs." "Sabotaged!" said an alarmed Jesse. "Why, what happened?" Bo responded quickly. "Don't worry Jesse. Nothing happened. I have no reason to suspect anything....." Jesse finished his nephew's sentence. ".....but it is Boss Hogg and big money is involved so better safe than sorry."
  10. We have Christmas threads for a lot of Christmases so I was a bit bothered that 2023 would go by without one in this section with the others . So, here I am singing Christmas carols all by myself. Can anybody hear me? Edit: I just noticed the other current Christmas thread is in the HazzardNet Family section.
  11. Oh! I get it! You mean on the website. For a second there I thought this was you and MM talking outside the Boar's Nest....about how to double our reactions. I think I'm out again.
  12. We love you MM. HazzardNet is the best website on the internet and it's a blessing to wish you happy birthday again. Happy birthday!
  13. Thanks for all you do MM. Christmas was rougher than normal but I have a lot of blessings to be thankful for and it's always important to focus on the positive. I love everybody here and thanks for helping me through the tragedy. I just wish I could have been there for your Christmas BBQ!
  14. the dukes of INDIA (cartoon ep title)
  15. Merry Christmas Skipper. We love you and look forward to that fresh start. ❤
  16. I agree. Sadie Hogg Day was one of my favorite episodes.
  17. They could try that but even if it had very subtle ties to Dukes nobody would fund it. Hollywood is unforgiving and views the Dukes and Southern culture as evil and toxic. The bias against the South in Hollywood is terrible, despite how they virtue signal and claim to be diverse.
  18. I don't believe that. If Daisy would have had a spin off show and was pursuing her singing career in Nashville with a bunch of female friends and few men were on the show, every Dukes fan would have loved it. Except for the fact Daisy was gone. Even then, I can say that I missed Enos being in Hazzard but didn't miss Enos. In fact I saw him even more because he got even more screen time with his own show. But if you are referring to modern times, I know of no Dukes fan who would complain about wokeism....unless the show had a hidden agenda of bashing men and/or Southern culture. Edit: just noticed you said "Hazzard County" and Nashville is not in Hazzard County so my example isn't good. But we could imagine Boss built a recording studio in Hazzard....nicer than the one in Daisy's Song...lol
  19. Thanks for posting this Hobie and thanks to Hoss for not taking it down. I would have a lot to say but will obey the rules and keep quiet. There are plenty of political forums out there for this stuff. We're too busy having fun here.
