Happy Birthday !!

Very nice portrait :-) Thanks

Aha... Yes, HOGGOCO was the oil company. Boss' grits were under the label "HOGG GRITS CO", not Hoggoco...
-
Ain't this fun? :-D Next one: Boss Hogg's grits company: "HOGGOCO GRITS" or "HOGG GRITS CO" ?

ooooh... Well, you're half right ;-) Possum Hollow is correct. But there is a hotel in at the end of the "shop row" street (behind & across the street from the church), called the Metropole... Port Royal is a real place in Jamaica, mostly known as a safe harbour for pirates, hunderds of years ago. If it sounds familiar, that's probably because it was also clearly featured in the "Pirates of the Caribbean"-movies.

How about these: Places: "Possum Hollow" or "Sleepy Hollow" ? Hotels "Port Royal" or "Metropole" ?

Price Slashed - On The Road To Hazzard

I have that DVD , it really nice. And I'm not just saying that for fear of getting hit with a frying pan. -
Standing in the wrong place at the wrong time: This is kind of morbid. It's here in Belgium. The upper sigh reads "waste recycling park" The lower sign reads "cemetary" This one is in France. The top sign, OK, I get that, watch out for trains. But what is the lower sign for? "Do not fly behind your bicycle"?? :-D Werner

OK sheriff :-) Here's a pic I took at DukesFest 2006, just before you signed my General Lee scale model Werner

This is for those who will be in or near the United Kingdom early June: It's at the MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes, UK. (it's at this edition of Collectormania in 2005 that I met Cathy. Apparently for 5-7 June 2009, they have Tom Wopat 8) For more info, do a Google search to collectormania . com they have the info posted on their official site. Careful: DON'T get you hope up, there's always a good chance Tom could CANCEL AGAIN... In 2005, they announced John Schneider and Cathy Bach, but then John had to cancel... Luckily Cathy was still there.

What make of Patrol car was Enos`s in High Octane
wekke replied to Bryan UK Hazzard Fan's topic in The Patrol Cars
These are one of my favorite models; and I used to have a 72 LTD. That's why I noticed. And yes, the full names were actually LTD Brougham, LTD, Galaxie 500 or Custom 500. -ie or -y --> The Ford Galaxie (with -ie in the end, not -y) is the classic North American Ford, not to be confused with today's Ford Galaxy minivan in Europe ;-) -

I added 2 photos on the hazzardnet gallery: http://www.hazzardnet.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1576 and http://www.hazzardnet.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1575&cat=501 (these are not external links, but just an "in site" link to hazzardnet gallery; in line with link restriction guidelines) One shows the Ford Custom (or base Galaxie), the other is the higher trim level Galaxie or LTD. I believe LTD had a red section in between the taillight, but since it's all painted over, it's hard to tell... PS: Is is possible to link directly to an image from the gallery here? Showing the photo from the gallery here in the forum posts? -
