Luke smiles as he takes the can from Daisy opening it as B.L. helps to support Bo. Opening and holding the drink for Bo to drink." "You girls think of everything.....Here Bo drink some of this see if it helps."

B.L. nods sadly then silently mouths her words again so Bo doesn't hear knowing he's too busy trying to get his breathing under control to pay attention to her. "I shouldn't have let him tickle me it was too much exertion but was glad he felt like playing around so I didn't try to stop him." Luke wrapped an arm around Bo as he sat up to support him. "Bo are ya ok? Listen it's real important that ya don't get sick otherwise that medicine is just gonna come back up and ya really gonna hurt then. Just take slow easy breaths and try to keep it at bay." B.L. forgets about blaming herself for the moment when Bo sits up so suddenly clutching his stomach and trembling. Looking back to Daisy B.L. lifts her hand to her mouth thumb pointed toward it in a drinking motion maybe the fizz in the drinks they brought would help to settle Bo's stomach.

Luke too sees the look on B.L.'s face and gently shakes his head no smiling reassuringly as Bo's breathing begins to get better knowing exactly what the look is and why. B.L. looks across at Daisy seeing the puzzlement on her face she hadn't seen the antics between B.L. and Bo before his breathing went bad. B.L. doesn't want Bo to hear he's in no shape to argue with her and she knows he would so she mouths the words at Daisy nodding in Bo's direction she it's clear exactly what she's blaming herself for. "My fault"

All the while her eyes never leaving Bo's face as she blames herself for this latest set back, if she had just stopped Bo from tickling her he wouldn't be like this now.

As Daisy calls back Uncle Jesse turns once again to face her "Ok sounds good" Luke brushes some stray hair from Bo's forehead then looks at B.L. nodding in Bo's direction "Alright Bo I'll be back in a second. B.L. stay with him. B.L. wrings her hands worriedly scared Bo's done more damage. Berating herself for letting him overexert himself without so much as a worried protest from her. She could have just stepped out of his reach but she didn't and now he can't breathe and is in pain. "I'm sorry Bo I didn't mean to hurt ya more? Ok Luke" Before B.L. can answer Luke is already gone out the door not waiting and she didn't turn to look at him as she answered. Holding Bo's free hand as she watches him grimace with pain. It isn't long before Luke is back with a nurse in tow holding a small medicine cup with a green substance in it,holding it to Bo's lips as Luke supports his head while he empties the contents of the cup. "Here ya are Mr. Duke this is some ibuprofin it'll help with the pain." After Bo finishes the medicine the nurse tells them to call if he doesn't get better soon and they'll give him a shot of morophine.

Uncle Jesse laughs with Daisy "Yeah it sure looked like the Bo we's used to seein except for the hospital gown." nods approvingly at Daisy's thoughtfulness "They'll appreciate the magazines and Bo'll be tickled with gettin to wear his own clothes. Good thinkin...I know Bo'll be glad to get to eat or drink somethin besides somethin from the hospital cafeteria. You's go on and take it to 'em I'm gonna stretch my bones a little then I'll be right back." Luke stands gripping one of Bo's shoulders and hand then looking at B.L. "Help me get him to the bed B.L. S'k Bo do ya need somethin for the pain? They's can give ya somethin that won't knock ya out if you need it and don't say no just ta be brave about bearin the pain it'll be better on ya breathin to take somethin to knock the edge off at least." B.L. copies Luke on the other side of Bo and the two of them pull him from the chair easing him over to the bed and helping him ease onto the matress then as Luke puts Bo's feet up on the bed B.L. raises the top enough that Bo is partially sitting hoping it will ease his breathin some.

Uncle Jesse smiles hugging Daisy tight deciding not to tell Daisy about the scene when he left the room but rather the better points of the last few minutes "He's alot better hasn't been under the tent all day and he's even been up movin around some." *chuckles* "He slipped up behind B.L. just a few minutes ago when she wasn't lookin and scared her nigh to death." points to the bag on the floor at their feet "I'm guessin that thar bag has the secret in it she was teasin him about resultin in him ticklin her unmercifully. So did ya'll get things worked out with Cooter and the state police?" Luke pats Bo's knee as he squats in front of him "Easy Bo nice and slow."

Once Bo is in the chair by the window B.L. leans against the wall her own breathing sounding almost like Bo's from laughing so hard. Not realizing that she is following Luke's breathing and her own is therefore returning to normal. Uncle Jesse wipes Bo's face a few more times then laying the cloth on the arm of the chair tells the group "I'm going to take a short walk if you and B.L. can handle things here Luke, I've been sittin still too long and these old bones are tellin me so." Luke nods at Uncle Jesse too fully concentrated on getting Bo's breathing back under control to respond any other way. B.L. sucks in a deep breath,although her breathing is normal again her face is still read from all the horseplaying. "Has he done this alot today Luke" Luke shakes his head no still concentrating on Bo it barely registering that Bo hasn't done this as much as he had expected him to.

Luke grabs for Bo as he stumbles as Bo releases her B.L. makes a grab for his other arm both catching him at the same time. B.L. instantly feeling bad for making Bo worse again "I'm sorry Bo I didn't mean for ya breathin to get bad again. You's just looked so much better when I came in and then ya snuck up behind me and grabbed me I didn't think cos I was just glad ya felt like playin around again." Luke smiles at her then turns a slight frown on Bo "It's ok B.L. it ain't your fault he knew not ta push his luck. Bo just settle down now and copy my breathin like ya been doing all day before Daisy gets here she'll have a fit about you maybe gettin released if she sees ya this way." Uncle Jesse wets the washcloth again wiping Bo's face and neck. "Bo come over here and sit down for a bit"

Giving the young woman a reassuring smile the doctor reassures her "He'll be fine if he was injected with something the antibiotics we have been giving him and are sending home with him will rid his system of the invasion cells of the disease." B.L. removes her arms from around Bo bringing them down on his hands only resulting in trapping them against her ribs instead stopping him from tickling her. Squeaks with laughter trying to be quiet and not disturb other patients. "Bo stop haha your a sick man hahaha remember....Luke help hahaha....Uncle Jesse make him stop hahaha" *disolves into giggles unable to talk anymore* Luke rolls his eyes chuckling "Won't you two ever grow up?" B.L. shakes her head no gasping through the giggles "What's....the......fun in......that" Uncle Jesse watches closely as the two play ready to stop it if Bo's breathing gets bad from the exertion.

The doctor nods before explaining. "It could have brought on by something like that I suppose but more likely it wasn't a drug but a strain of a disease. It's quite possible that he was both drugged and injected with some disease." B.L. shakes her head no grinning a maddening taunting grin "I ain't tellin and you cain't make me" then pretends to zip her lips not intending to tell Bo anything knowing his curiosity is driving him nuts

The doctor ponders the question for a moment then smiles kindly at the worried young woman. "I don't see why not as long as the cans tops are rinsed thourouly just to cut down on germs. I'll rest your fears Miss Duke even though I'm sure your cousin would rather tell you himself. He's doing remarkably well and I'm either going to release him later this evening depending on how he's doing when I make my rounds and if not tonight tomorrow. Don't be so worried he's going to be fine. Now what else did you have on your mind." B.L. grins impishly back at Bo saying in a fillipiant tone "Who says I'm hidin somethin?"

The doctor stops turning to Daisy as she catches up with him. "Hello Miss Duke, is there something I can help you with? As Bo's arm snake around her waist and Bo whispers in her ear B.L. almost jumps out of her skin whirling around in Bo's arms a big smile on her face and eys shining happily. "Flyin frogs Bo Duke ya scared the daylights outta me you's sposed to be to sick to sneak up on people." Wrapping her arms around Bo's torso propping her chin on his chest to look up into his eyes. "I'm holdin up just fine. Surprised to see you up" With a twinkle in her eye B.L. gives Bo a secretive look as if she's got some huge secret. Not wanting to say anything about the drinks until Daisy speaks to the doctor she decides to string him along wondering what the surprise is until Daisy gets back with the bag of clothes. Luke laughs at B.L.'s startled expression as she turns around to face Bo. He watches the two with amusement having let go of Bo as soon as B.L.'s arms were around him to for support in case he needed it.

"Sounds like a winning idea to me" *laughs* "bet poor Uncle Jesse needs relieved of his guard duties for a few minutes at least he's been cooped up in that room with them alone all day." The two girls enter the building,finding the elevator take it to the 3rd floor where Bo's room heading down the hall toward his room. Getting to Bo's door B.L. knocks. Uncle Jesse bids them enter. B.L. smiles widely as she notices Bo not under the tent and the IV line is gone from his hand. Giving all three men a kiss on the cheek "So how's the patient? Ya look lots better than ya did this morning." Gives Luke an appraising look with a slight frown then smirking "You don't look like death warmed over anymore but you's still look like a zombie." Luke sticks his tounge out at her lightly yanking one of her braids "Can it Davenport"

B.L. rubs the spot between her eyes and abover her nose with the heel of her hand. "I wish I knew Daisy I really do." Luke shrugs as he answers looking at his pocketwatch "I'm not sure but it shouldnt be more than an hour it's 5pm now"

B.L. nods smiling,glad Daisy is seeing since. Proud to know her friends trust her enough to let her be the voice of reason when the occassion arises. "That's good enough for me, I just don't want to see either one of my other two friends as sick as Bo from worrying and not taking care of themselves." Luke wraps strong protective arms around Bo sighin "I wish it was that easy Bo, I really don't know what to tell ya cos the doctor said ya might get to go home in a few hours but I don't want ya to overdo things and jeopardize your health either. So I guess all I can say is take it easy and don't hesitate to tell me if ya don't feel well."

B.L. gives Daisy a sideways glance without turning her head from watching the road. "I'd be happier if you'd eat at least half" Luke pushes Bo's chin up with one finger to look him in the eye with soft caring eyes of understanding. "It's ok Bo you got a right to be angry and frustrated heck I would be. You ain't got nothin to prove to nobody not even yourself don't push yourself so hard to act completely healthy just take it one day at a time is all you can do. Keepin all that bottled up inside is just as bad for ya as tryin to do too much too soon so if you wanna snap at somebody then snap at me that's what 'brother's is for.

B.L. getting in the driver's seat of red fury tosses the paperbag to Daisy the sweet as honey tone replaced by her assertive take charge attitude. "Eat!! you'll need your strength and the last thing we need is for you to collapse from lack of food." B.L. pulls out of the driveway heading for the hospital,speeding but no intentions of slowing or stopping for any law enforcement they've got things to do. Luke is stunned at first when Bo starts his tirade partly at the pent up frustration and anger in the words and partly that Bo has enough air to say so much. Placing a hand over Bo's mouth as he finishes Luke gives Bo a look of understanding. "Whoah right there cousin.....you aint worthless,or stupid. Ya weak only cos ya sick you's been the strongest person I know through all this and you got every dang right to blow off some steam about the situation. While you've been trying to recover Daisy's been a basket case but only cos she's worried about ya. I've been a total jackass more than once the last few days." Taking both Bo's hands in one of his own Luke still doesn't uncover Bo's mouth so he can finish what he has to say without Bo interrupting. "I'm sorry I guess we haven't give ya a chance to tell us how ya feel or maybe it's just cos ya wouldnt so's you wouldn't worry us anymore? But Bo not tellin us exactly what's on your mind is more worrying than ya telling somebody. I'm here to listen if you wanna rant then go for it. You's just like the rest of the Duke's if it was me in your place and being waiting on hand and foot with everybody tellin me no I couldn't so stuff cos of being sick I woulda done blew a fuse long before now. But Bo use ya head don't try to prove you's can do it all we know ya can we're just trying to take care of ya is all so you can go home and then I don't care if you wanna be the worst patient in history *thinks to himself he hopes Daisy don't find out he said it if Bo does decide to be contrary once home.* but until you go home just let the rest of us mother hen ya huh? For our piece of mind."

I agree that ding dang negative button has us seesawing. Does anyone know what's up with the comment: Why should Dukes fans vote for a show that they don't like, when we want our show to be #1. Watch out for we will make it! To me that sounds like somebody who doesn't like the show and hit the negative button??? We are upto 49 btw with 166 votes B.L.

B.L. hops off the counter as the troopers start to leave her and Cooter shaking hands with each one as they head to the door. "I'm gonna stay behind and check over the cars even though I know they's in good condition I want to double check before this all goes down. Hey but tell ol Bo I'll see him tonight. See ya'll later" As Cooter starts out the backdoor B.L. looks in the fridge pulling out the sandwich she'd put there for Daisy earlier. Placing it in a brown paper bag "See ya Cooter" After Cooter has left she cleans up the mess from lunch and then grabbing the paper bag off the table tells Daisy "I'm ready to go whenever you are." Luke stares back at Bo just as determined while Uncle Jesse sits in the chair by the window dozing. "Ok ya may not get back under that tent but ya ain't gonna get back on your feet till that breathin a yours gets more like normal again." Quickly changing tactics Luke decides maybe persuasion is better than force "Bo the girls will be back soon and wouldn't it be a nice surprise if they saw ya breathin better insteada gasping cos ya been walkin around too much? I think it'd really help Daisy to feel better especially about you being with me tonight in the General Lee, don't think she's too thrilled with that idea."
