Uncle Jesse looks over as Daisy gets in the passenger side directing a glare at B.L. now thinking she's condoning Bo's defiance. The glare makes B.L. wilt knowing what Uncle Jesse thinks she's doing. Luke hugs Daisy tightly "See ya at home" before leaning up the driver's seat of red fury climbing in the back. After Luke is situated B.L. gets in the driver's seat both vehicles starting up and pulling out of the hospital parking lot the red dodge demon following the white pickup headed for Hazzard.

Luke looked at B.L. hoping she would catch in his expression he was in no hurry to be closed up in the cab of the pickup with Uncle Jesse despite not being the target of the man's anger. She looked back at him and nodded then the two of them walked Bo around to the passenger side of red fury. B.L. reaching for the door handle and opening the door as Luke kept steadying hands on Bo. Thankful that B.L. seemingly read his mind,riding in red fury would be easier than climbing in and out of the pickup. Easing Bo into the passenger seat,once he's settled Luke closes the passenger door and the two of them walk back around to the driver's side. B.L. turning to Daisy not wanting her to be the one caught in a moving vehicle with Uncle Jesse's temper either. "Wanna ride with us? The car will be easier on Bo than the pickup" As they wait for Daisy to decide Uncle Jesse gets in the driver's side of the pickup.

Seeing Bo hold his head up high despite knowing he'd angered his Uncle and the possiblity of a switching looming very real only served to strike another cord in Jesse the boy wasn't the least bit remorseful for his defiance. Shaking his head angrily he leads the group out the doors and a few parking spaces down to where the pickup and red fury are parked not saying one word to any of them. His indecision of what to do about Bo's defiance becoming clearer with each new act of that defiance. Uncle Jesse's look toward Bo told Luke that Bo was indeed treading on thin ice but he can't help a small swell of pride in Bo saying exactly what's on his mind instead of hiding it as he had before after encountering the two criminals who had threatened him if he didn't keep silent.

Uncle Jesse sighs a deep worry filled sigh not really sure what he's going to do about the whole thing. If Bo weren't recovering it's exactly what would happen for such an act but he just doesn't know "It's what he deserves....but I just don't know if I can follow through with him just gettin outta the hospital" Luke although keeping a firm hold on Bo's arm really isn't focusing on his surroundings but rather what he's going to do to the men that has caused his family so much pain and worry especially Bo having nearly died because of them. His only thoughts are thoughts of what he considers justice and not necessarily by the hands of law enforcement. B.L. just walks along side Bo keeping a steadying arm around his waist but not in a protective manner more as if they were just walking together as friends having visited someone else in the hospital. The two cousins are obviously thinking their own thoughts so the three of them remain in silence as they climb on the elevator riding to the first floor then stepping off to rejoin Daisy and Uncle Jesse. Instantly receiving a frown of displeasure from Uncle Jesse he had thought that Luke and B.L. would be able to talk Bo into using the wheelchair but sees now even they couldn't get through Bo's stubborness.

Uncle Jesse wraps his arm around Daisy's waist having no words to explain what just happened in that hospital room. As the elevator door opens Jesse gently tugs on Daisy's hold and they step on together,pushing the button for the 1st floor. Once Luke was sure Bo had his balance he released the hold on Bo's waist instead taking hold of Bo's upper arm still lending the steadying support but not the comforting support of before. Deciding to let Bo really do it on his own but still be there when Bo sees he can't quite do it yet. Vowing to find out what it's all about just as soon as the men are caught tonight. B.L. is still shocked at all this but unwilling to abandon Bo wraps her arm around his waist prepared to be the one to take his weight this time instead of Luke if he can't make it. Although like Luke she's giving him the silent treatment not exactly sure what else can be said right now. Readjusting the bag strap on her shoulder the three of them walk out of the room and toward the elevator.

Luke seen the look in Daisy's eyes as she left the room he too sees the determination in Bo's eyes knowing there is nothing any of them could say that will make him change his mind so with a resigned sigh that all he can do is be there for Bo if Unlce Jesse does punish him and from the look on their Uncle's face he most likely will. B.L. can't just take Bo's defiance with the same resignation as his cousins. Kneeling with her elbows on Bo's knees in order to look up into his face, her eyes pleading with him to reconsider. "Bo please don't defy Uncle Jesse like this,it's been years since he's switched any 'o ya'll don't force him to hafta do it now....." But as she can see the unwavering determination in Bo's eyes B.L. knows that not even she can get through to Bo now and it's best just to let him have his way. Picking up the bag of clothes slinging it on her shoulder in order to have both hands free to help with Bo. Uncle Jesse stops at the elevators to wait for Daisy to catch up as he hears her call.

Luke opens his mouth to issue his own warning of caution before Bo speaks but snaps it shut the instant he starts to talk. Jesse is so shocked at Bo's statement that he turns to the other three in the room saying "I'll be downstairs waitin for ya'll if I stay in here I just might carry out ma threat." saying his peace leaves the room. Luke stares at Bo in disbelief before slightly altering what he was going to say before "Bo you's done gone too far I cain't save ya if Jesse decides to carry through. I know you's want to get back to normal but defying Uncle Jesse ain't the best route to take." B.L. is in total shock herself completely convinced Bo has lost his mind. Shaking her head sadly she has to ask "Have you lost it Bo? You must've cos only a really brave soul or a crazy man would defy your Uncle Jesse like you just did."

The nurse quietly leaves the room not wanting to be witness to a family confrontation, leaving the wheelchair behind. Uncle Jesse's face is a mirade of shock and fury never in all their lives had one of his kids refused to do as he said to his face. Moving to stand in front of Bo towering over the young man on the bed. Jesse is practically shaking with anger,pointing a finger just inches from Bo's nose in a quiet voice shaking with anger "You will do as I say Beaureguard James Duke,now I've let ya by with your earlier outburst at Luke cos ya frustrated and we all know it but you will not directly defy me young man I won't tolerate it." Changing that same hand from pointing to holding his index finger and thumb less than an inch apart Jesse continues in that same tone. "Your about this close ta gettin switched when we's get home sick or not" Luke gulped as Uncle Jesse stood in front of Bo he can't remember the last time he saw Uncle Jesse this mad. Looking over at Daisy to see the same shock registering on her face as he's sure it is his own. B.L.'s head snaps up and her eyes go as big as saucers when Bo speaks in all her life she can't ever remember any of the Duke kids telling Uncle Jesse no they wouldn't do something. She herself though not a Duke had never told him no when he gave an order.

LOL oh boy somebody really made a booboo on that one. Or maybe they just gave Luke cosmetic surgery and some hair dye.

B.L. sighs she figured they'd be in for an argument when Bo saw the wheelchair but like Daisy she doesn't even look in his direction knowing those big blue eyes would have her campaigning on his side. "I'm sorry Mr. Duke it's regulations all patients must leave the hospital in a wheelchair especially after a stay like yours." Luke not wanting to be the meanie in the situation this time let's Uncle Jesse handle the tough guy role opting instead to wiggle his eyebrows up and down mischeviously "C'mon Bo I'll drive" *asks the nurse* "if that's not against regulations" The nurse shakes her head no that it's not regulations that a nurse push the patient figuring the patient will agree more readily if allowed a compromise. Uncle Jesse lays a firm hand on Bo's shoulder pulling Bo's attention from the wheelchair to his face where a stern look resides leaving no room for argument "Now Bo it's regulations not to mention it's a long walk to the elevator and an even longer one to the parking lot"

As the two cousins sit watching the rest pack things up a nurse comes into the room with some papers and a wheelchair. Uncle Jesse looks up as she enters "Howdy Ma'am" Handing Uncle Jesse the papers she pushes the wheelchair next to the bed. "Hello this is the release papers they'll need the patients signature and then just leave them at the nurses desk." Luke untangles himself from Bo's waist retrieving his own boots from beside the bed slipping them on then stamping his feet down in them properly. Grabbing Bo's from the floor he swings Bo's legs off the bed sliding them on ready assisting Bo to his feet so they slide in the rest of the way then returning him to the edge of the bed till everyone is ready to go. "You ready ta get outta here Bo"

While the others gather up things and pack them Luke starts to have second thoughts about letting Bo go with them tonight. Despite Bo's signs of improvement the few episodes he's had the last one especially even though it was brought on by too much moving around,and Bo would be sitting in the General worries Luke. There won't be time to stop everything until he can help Bo get his breathing under control if it happens again but he's not about to say any of that to any of the rest knowing it will only result in worrying them. Luke really doesn't want to voice such thoughts to Bo either knowing he will just get angry and frustrated at being what he preceives as being over protected. So pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind Luke is content to watch the rest pack as he sits with one arm behind Bo's back around the waist in a protective hold.

Luke laughs at hearing the typical Bo reaction to good news. Nodding as Daisy tells Bo about the nights events to come. "I'd say Bo Duke is back maybe not 100% yet but at least 90% back." Uncle Jesse nods with Luke's assessment of things looking at his pocket watch then back up to the others in the room "Well let's get our personal belongings gathered up while's we wait for the doctor to bring back the release papers." B.L. starts to gather Luke's clothes from the bathroom and the set Bo was wearing when they brought him into the hospital laying them on the bed Bo had been using, to fold and pack in the bag the clean clothes had been in. As Luke starts to get up from his perch next to Bo to gather things he sees B.L. already beating him to it so decides to just stay by Bo having noticed that Bo isn't as calm and his breathing as steady when he (Luke) isn't nearby. Uncle Jesse in the meantime folds up the extra blankets they had been using and places them on the foot of the bed Bo had been using.

Just as Bo sits back down on the bed the doctor comes in making his evening rounds smiling "Well well well looks like someone's in high hopes of leaving us." Getting straight down to business the doctor listens to Bo's lungs from the front and the back. Then looking in Bo's throat,checking his pulse and temperature. Once finished with his examination the doctor smiles even wider at his patient knowing that his next words will greatly please the young man and his family. "Well Beaureguard, your fit enough to go home. If you'll just give me a little while to get the paperwork ready then you can go." *holiding up a finger making sure Bo listens carefully to his next words* "But you are still going to need plenty of rest til your strength returns. And I don't want you being around crowds until your immune system has had some time to build back up." Uncle Jesse smiles,thanking the doctor for his care of Bo,before he leaves to get the paperwork started. almost excited enough to give out a whoop of joy. Luke's smile is just as wide as Uncle Jesse's as he slaps Bo on the shoulder excitedly "Just in time to get them crooks too" B.L. hugs Bo's neck with a squeal of delight too happy to know what to say.

B.L. smiles hugging Bo when Daisy has let go and stepped back "Won't be long now you'll be tearin up the roads givin Rosco heck" Luke claps Bo on the shoulder "Hadta get ya back on your feet soon there's a race in 3 weeks and it just wouldn't be no fun without ya." "We's all got the good Lord to thank for ya gettin better so quick" Uncle Jesse had been doing that very thing ever since Bo was brought back to them from the dead.

Jesse knew how Bo felt he had felt without him saying a word but deciding the best thing to do was not mention it. He could also tell that Luke sensed the same thing in Bo, the Dukes being fiercely independent it didn't set well when they had to have help doing the simplest of tasks. They both grin at Bo's statement. Uncle Jesse steps over to the door telling the girls they can come back in now.

Luke mutters somethin that sounds like cranky as he and Uncle Jesse help Bo sit up on the side of the bed. As Uncle Jesse keeps a firm hand on Bo's elbow, Luke picks the pants up off the bed squatting down at Bo's feet slipping both feet in the legs before pulling the pants upto Bo's knees. Then putting on Bo's socks the two of them slide Bo into a standing position Luke figuring Bo will have a fit about being dressed instead of being allowed to dress himself but not caring one bit because despite what Bo may think Luke knows he's not upto bending over yet to pull up the pants he has enough problems breathing just sitting in a chair or lying in bed. Once the bottom half of Bo is dressed, Uncle Jesse unties the gown from around Bo's neck so Luke can remove the gown slipping on Bo's shirt snapping it halfway leaving the shirttail hanging out of Bo's jeans. In less than 5 minutes Bo is completely dressed except for his boots. "There how does that feel cousin?"

In less than two minutes Luke was changed and returning to the room smiles at the look of anticipation in Bo's eyes the look of a kid in a candy store. In a teasing tone he asks "Want some help Bo or ya like the gown better that color looks good on ya."

Totally unfazed by Bo's look B.L. looks back at him with the sweetest most innocent look. Luke leans over kissing Daisy on the cheek grinning "Thanks sweetheart see I told ya you girls thought of everything." B.L. looks at Luke having to bite the inside of her jaw to keep a straight face as she says "We just thought you'd smell better with clean clothes" *pinching her nose* At her words Luke would normally give chase but being as they were in a hospital he took one of the magazines reaching over bopping her on top of the head with it "Smart aleck....I'll be back in a sec since some folks think I smell bad" Luke walks toward B.L. who backs up against the bed trying to stay out of his reach turning though as if he's resuming his trip to the bathroom to change into the clean clothes B.L. turns back to face Bo not seeing Luke sneak back up behind her kicking her gently in the behind for her earlier comment. "Heey Lucas that wasn't fair" "All's fair in love and war sweetheart and you's askin for war" Uncle Jesse laughs at the antics happy to see all of them in better spirits.

Luke laughs at Daisy too as she nearly fell off the bed with shock instinctively sticking out a hand to catch her. B.L. laughed with the boys remembering her own shock when Bo snuck up behind her putting his arms around her before whispering in her ear. "He's feelin his oats this afternoon near scared me to death sneaking up on me then whispering in my ear while ago." "Then when I told him we had a surprise for him his nosiness got the better of him and he thought he could tickle it outta me" B.L. gives Bo a triumphant girn cos he never did make her tell before he started having breathing trouble again which causes the triumphant grin to turn into a frown as she halfheartedly scolds him gently "Your not as spry as you thought you were now are ya?"

B.L. grins as Bo blinks in surprise then tells him "That was the surprise. Daisy had to make sure with the doc it was ok ta give it to ya before we said anything." Uncle Jesse comes back in after his walk around the area and having set on the bench in the garden area where Luke and B.L. had went before. Smiling at seeing Bo's breathing better than when he had left "How's it going in here" Luke and B.L. both look up as Uncle Jesse speaks as Luke answers his question "Better" Luke sits the drink on the table when Bo finishes as Uncle Jesse enters the room B.L. relinquishes the task of helping support Bo back to Luke going over and hugging Uncle Jesse and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
