  1. "Hello Mr Duke, this is the Atlanta Mental Institute....we're afraid that your nephew Beauregard Duke...has gone missing..."
  2. (Uh...you need to read back in the story Dusty...its been a year since Luke last saw Cassie and while he isnt the same as he used to he's not that badly affected. He used to be, but a year on he's not doing that anymore.)
  3. Cooter frowned, that didn't sound like Uncle Jesse at all. In times like this, he would encourage the family to stick together and most certainly wouldn't let anyone move out if he could help it, Bo was going to have a hard enough time convincing him of it as it was. "You mean you WANT to move out and are asking me before you tell Uncle Jesse what your planning...."
  4. Cooter continued to hug her close, rocking her softly. Boy he wished Luke could look past his own hurt at what Cassie had done to him and see how much she had hurt his whole family. He knew Luke wanted to mend things with her and probably get back together with her again and help her off the drugs....but personally Cooter didn't know why he bothered. By the looks of her, Cassie probably wouldn't be able to survive the effects of withdrawal let alone rehabilitation and anyway, he didnt think a person like her deserved to live anyhow. Luke had nearly lost Bo because of her and now it was like Bo didn't even matter to him anymore, let alone the rest of his family. No, Cassie was trouble and Luke was so blinded by his own foolishness that he refused to see that. Maybe he was wrong in what he had said to Bo....it was seeming more and more like Luke was going to put Cassie over his family and now it didn't seem as much of a shock that Bo was leaving.
  5. Cooter sighed and shook his head, hugging his girlfriend close and resting his chin on top of her head. "I tried ta convince Bo to come to his senses and stay and try and work things out with Cassie but....god the things he was sayin' about Luke....how Luke ain't the same person since Cassie hurt him the last time...how he was frightened and Luke didn't even care....I think Luke really may have broken what he has with Bo this time..."
  6. Cooter sighed and nodded, holding her close. "I know exactly how ya feel....an' I think yer gonna get right into the middle of them again....Bo's decided he ain't stickin' around to wait for Cassie to hurt Luke or him again...he said he's leavin' fer NASCAR....he's gone back to the farm to pack....Luke's with Cassie."
  7. Bo walked down the roads away from the hospital, making sure to stay out of sight. All through the trip there near two weeks ago, he had been able to do nothing but stare at the outside world through the windows of the truck and so he knew exactly where he needed to go....he just had to keep his racing heart rate as low as possible and not get distracted and scared stiff of all the noises around him which was eaisier said than done. At the Duke Farm, the sound of the telephone ringing in the middle of the night could be heard piercing the silence.
  8. Cooter flinched and pouted when Dusty punched his arm, still watching the retreating General Lee before looking back to her with a slight scowl. "Now hang on, in between me findin' out myself an' you turnin' up an' punchin' me, i've had to deal with all kinda things! It ain't that I wasn't gonna tell ya but I've been real busy! Ain't no need to punch me!"
  9. When Bo woke again in the middle of the night, he found himself alone once more in the place his family had put him. Swallowing gently, he sat up in the bed and looked around, wishing his family was in a dark corner sleeping somewhere but still watching over him...only they weren't. He did however notice that his door had been left open, they probably thought he would be under the influence of those drugs for the rest of the night and so had left it as such for easy access and suddenly Bo saw the ray of hope he had been longing to grasp. Now he could escape and get back home where he wanted to be....all he had to do, was stop the fierce pounding his heart had started at the thought of going outside in the dark alone...where anything could happen. But get up he did, and walked slowly to the door, looking around before slinking out of his room and staying in the shadows of the corridors to keep himself covered until he got to the entrance way to the hospital. Unfortunatly, the receptionist was still there and Bo didn't see a way past her....until the phone rang and she answered, engaging in a conversation whereby she turned her back to the doors. Smiling a little and thanking the heavens, Bo slunk past and swiftly disappeared into the night.
  10. The nurse regarded Luke coldly, none to happy about being argued with when she was just doing the job she had been assigned. "Well I'm sorry....but your the ones who sent him here for treatment and this is what it includes. If you don't like it, you shouldn't have put him here in the first place now excuse me." She said as she pushed past the two and left the room.
  11. Uncle Jesse could do nothing but watch as the events transpired, looking confusedly between the two cousins as the look in Daisy's eyes changed and she ran out the room, and then as Luke started to smile. Frowning he looked to Luke, expecting an answer whether it be written or spoken. Soon, it became clear that Luke however was lost in his own thoughts and Jesse was just about to demand to know what was going on when Bo's doctor and Doc Walker re-entered the room, both looking grim.
  12. Daisy took the note, getting more and mre agitated as Luke kept coming up with comments that counteracted everything she was trying to argue. The worst part of it was, deep down she knew what Luke was saying was the truth. She knew she could get so caught up in this world that she wouln't be the same once she'd got done doing what she felt she had to. Swallowing she passed the pad back to Luke and shook her head, not knowing what to say but feeling the drive that was pushing her to get to Bos and Rosco and teach them a lesson they would never forget. Yes, Daisy could be fiesty and once or twice she had marched into Boss's office and gave them a piece of her mind....but as Luke kept looking over her, seeing her battle the two arguements inside her head, he knew that this time would be different and Daisy could get into real trouble... Trouble was never usually something that was unusual to the Dukes...but this time, there was no Bo, Luke and General Lee to bail her out...none of them to come to their rescue...if Boss and Rosco got rid of Daisy by locking her away or even breaking her further...then there would be no more Dukes around to stop their money making plans and Hazzard as they knew it. Swiftly, he scribbled down. "Please Daisy...look at the bigger picture here....if something happens to you there won't be any of us in Hazzard to stop Boss from doing what he wants anymore....god knows how long me an' Bo are in here for...if its revenge you want then you can stand up to him how we usually do, stop his plans before he can really start them...cousin....I don't want to see you get hurt and wind up here with us...please think longer about this before you run off and make some foolish, rash decisions..."
  13. The Nurse sighed as she turned and carefully laid Bo down, slipping him under the covers as she talked. "It's a prescribed relaxant. The noises that are neccessary to make to help him learn to control his fear make his heart rate speed up. Until he can control it, we have to give him the relaxant to make sure he isn't in danger of having a heart attack...." She turned to them again once Bo was settled staring blankly at the ceiling, eyes half closed, and put her hands on her hips with the steely glare remaining on her face as she regarded the men. "Unless of course you want him to have a heart attack?"
  14. Daisy swallowed gently as she looked over to Bo again, noticing he had gotten even paler. Swiftly she put two and two together and guessed that what they had just done was a part of Bo's treatment... no wonder the poor kid hadn't slept with all the noises going off at random times...he was probably too frightened to sleep. Just then, one of the nurse's walked in with a syringe in hand, shuffling past the Dukes and sitting next to Bo. "C'mon Bo....gimme yer arm...let's see if we can do this the easy way this time huh?" Bo swallowed and looked to her, shaking his head slightly. "Please don't....please..I'm a good boy...I....I haven't done anything wrong...please...please..." The nurse shook her head and gripped his arm tight as he tried to pull away, swiftly sliding the needle in and slowly depressing the plunger, watching as Bo started getting limper under her hands. "That's it....just relax....have to keep your heart rate down dont we..."
  15. Bo didn't even really notice when the sound stopped. He was too used to that kind of thing happening now, even though his head still screamed with fear when they came on, his body just didn't react to it anymore. There wasn't a lot that he did react to anymore..not even his punishments for doing something wrong. Daisy eventually took her hands away from her ears. "What...what was that?!"
  16. "Oh..." Bo whispered out before looking back to his bare feet again. They didn't let him wear his noramal everyday clothes anymore, they put him in the hospital approved clothing that made him just the same as everyone else. Suddenly there was a loud noise that sounded like the clanging of pots and pans, cars backfiring and people screaming and shouting. Daisy jumped and huddled more into Luke, covering her ears with her hands. Bo however....Bo didn't even move, frozen in place with his hands still shaking as he just stared listlessly at his feet. Inside he was quacking but he had long since learned that he shouldn't show that around here....he shouldn't show his fear because he would be punished.
  17. Bo looked to Jesse, pulling into himself a little more before whispering out in a emotionless, strained voice. "Why're you here..."
  18. Bo jumped a little at the hand on his shoulder and his trembling increased as he looked up, slowing a little when he saw Luke even though his blank facial expression didn't change. He felt so low, he had done ever since he had been taken away from the farm and dumped in this place that nothing really mattered to him anymore. He responded to what the doctors here were telling him and followed what they made him do....but really he just didn't care.
  19. *blushes* Hey no problem, everyone should hear John's songs, happy to spread the love :-D
  20. lol John didn't have his hair cut like Britney Spears :-) That was just wild rumor. I don't think he ever will cut his gorgeous blonde locks off, he knows he'd give his whol fan base a heart attack lol
  21. Daisy swallowed gently, biting her lip as Bo didn't even look up from where he was sitting. He was sat on his bed in the corner of his room, his knees hugged up to his chest as he stared down at his feet. It looked like he hadn't slpet since he had arrived and his hands had now undertaken a premanant tremble as they were clutched tightly together.
  22. Hey! Bo here and there ain't no way i'm gonna let the deputy down! Me an' Luke may like runnin' from the law but what's the point when there ain't no law to chase us?! Story comin' your way!
  23. Nearly a week later, the call had come through to the Duke Farm that Bo was allowed to have visitors. At first they hadn't allowed it because they had wanted to get Bo settled into routine and start his treatment undistracted by anything. But now, the three Dukes were all sitting in the waiting room, waiting for the nurse that would take them to Bo's room to see them. Daisy was cuddled softly into Uncle Jesse, hearing screams coming from somewhere and moans and crazed mumblings coming from elsewhere, hating to think that this was what Bo was hearing everyday.
  24. Luke clenched his jaw as he heard Daisy talk about Bo like that...it was like she had already given up hope of Bo even coming back alive through those doors anymore. He knew that Daisy was feeling bad, but this was just plumb ridiculous...he missed his Daisy...the one he had left behind four years ago and had so suddenly disappeared. Writing what he wanted to say, he looked her directly in the eyes before handing it to her, never once wavering. "No Daisy...I don't....because one of the most important things you learn in 'Nam is that revenge is not the answer....if someone guns down your friend you don't go after him into the battlefield just to make him suffer the same fate....because you don't know what'll happen....same applies here Daisy...what if you lose your temper...what if you DO pull a gun on Boss and Rosco in the heat of the moment. If you go, i'll call Boss and Rosco and have Uncle Jesse warn 'em..."
  25. Luke shook his head, turning his hand over and gripping her wrist tightly, writing with his other hand. "This isn't justice Daisy, this is your own personal revenge for him making you feel the way you do about yourself....if you were really doing this for Bo you would know he wouldn't want you to do this this way....And me and Bo doing it is different...no one has ever been in hospital possibly dying when we've gone and done it....we do it for the right reasons Daisy...right now your doing this for all the wrong ones..." He wrote desperatly, trying to make her see sense.
