  1. Bo screeched to a halt in front of Cooter's garage and slid out of General Lee, taking his bags out the back of the car and putting them into the open one that was waiting for him in the back of the loner Cooter was standing by. When everything was packed up, Cooter shut the lid, sighing. "Bo...are you sure you wanna do this...Luke's..." "Luke didn't give a damn about how I felt before...why should he start now...he wont care, he wont even notice I'm gone..." Cooter sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Bo..." Bo shook his head and stopped him, getting into the driver's seat. "Cooter...I appriciate everything you done..but now its up to me....I'll see ya round...."
  2. Bo heard it and a small part of him instantly leapt at the chance to go back to Luke...but then another much larger part of him told him to keep going. Just because Luke had let Cassie go didn't lessen his fear none...in fact it only served to highten it....with Cassie loose then he was once again going to live in fear...no, he wouldn't be coming back until he knew for sure she was out of Hazzard and out of their lives for good. Cooter sighed, instantly feeling bad about being so blunt, even though it was the truth. He looked to Dusty who nodded that she wanted to go to the Boar's Nest. He picked up the CB again. "Bo...do you..." "Ain't nothin' changed Cooter, i'll be at your garage in just a couple o'minutes." Cooter sighed nodded. "Sure thing, see ya there."
  3. Cooter sighed, feeling himself getting angrier by the minute with Luke's attitude. He was sick of people running out on everyone else and if Luke disappeared with Cassie he didn't know how the Duke family was going to cope with it. Yelling down the CB as he let himself go, he told Luke exactly what he though, regardless of whether or not Cassie was with him. "No Lukas YOU tell him. YOU can tell him everything because I am sick and tired of being caught in the middle of your family squabbles especially because of that witch you got with you. You don't realize just how many people you and her are hurting by dong this, and maybe if you weren't so blind you'd realize just how scared the person you once called brother is! If you want to bring her here then fine, bring her here in an hour, but don't expect me to be here and don't expect me to come back while she's here either. You're on your own this time Luke, you may have Uncle Jesse;s supoort but I can bet ya ain't no one else in the whole of Hazzard that wants ta see her again. Crazy C out." Switching channels to the General's CB, he got through to Bo. "Bo, meet me at the garage and i'll get ya fixed up with a loner car but then yer on yer own..." Bo nodded, having heard the exchange. "Thanks Cooter, no problem. I know ya don't wanna get caught in the middle and if ya need to stay at the Duke Farm you can have my bed as long as ya need. I'll see ya in a couple o'minutes, I'm gone." With that Cooter got into the wrecker, Dusty beside him in the passenger seat as he sped away.
  4. Cooter swallowed, pausing before sighing and shaking his head, knowing exactly what Luke was talking about and what he had done. Bo was right...Luke really didn't care about anyone...Luke could go to prison for violating his probation, helping out a dangerous criminal...this was more than Hazzard County Law...this was state law...and that was something Cooter was not willing to get caught up in, not for Cassie...there was no way he was going to help her by letting her hide out there. "I don't think that's the best idea Luke."
  5. Cooter swallowed and looked to his truck as he heard Luke's voice come over the CB, looking to Dusty before letting her go and picking it up. "You got Crazy C on this end Lost Sheep 1, what can I do fer ya?2
  6. Daisy moaned softly as B.L. shook her, but blinked more into awake and alert as she heard the words she didnt think she would hear for a long time. "Bo...what?!" Bo hugged into his Uncle, whimpering softly as he relished his Uncle;s touches.
  7. Cooter sighed and shook his head. "I think Bo's coming back here...he ain't got a car except for the General so he'll wanna borrow one to get to the NASCAR circuit...and about Luke, you give him right and left hooks all yer gonna achieve is driving him away more...more into Cassie's arms...by all means let him know how ya feel...but at the end of the day he's your family and while he's making a stupid decision doing this, you can't do what Bo's doing....it'll kill him or just push him more to Cassie...."
  8. Bo lay panting gently, still shaking underneath the blanket, resting on the couch in the place he called home with his big brother and his best friend beside him. For the first time in so very long, since the accident even, he truly felt safe, especially when moments later, Jesse and Cooter came barraling through the door and his Uncle pulled him into his arms and rocked him softly.
  9. Bo swallowed and hugged B.L. back for a brief moment before his legs refused to hold him anymore and he slid to the ground, weak with relief and exhaustion.
  10. By this time, Bo had finished packing and was loading it up into General Lee. He wasn't planning on taking General Lee to NASCAR, he didn't want it to get ruined. No, he was going to drop General at Cooters and have him bring it back to Luke, while he borrowed a loner and went on his journey. Heck he'd walk if he had to...anything to get away.
  11. Cooter too had heard the CB transmission and had yelled happily as he climbed back into his wrecker, smiling in relief as he headed back for the Duke Farm. Bo closed his eyes as he felt the reassuring, soothing touch. That was something he had missed for so long...
  12. Bo swallowed gently as he sat shaking in the passenger seat, feeling a little better in the General, in the one place he felt truly safe. In the powerful orange stock car with his cousin, his big brother by his side.
  13. The surgeon's quickly yelled things to each other as Bo flatlined, rushing quickly to continue securing what they had been before the nurse's rushed the defibrilator close, everybody in the room holding their breaths as the first shock was administered. Luke looked sharply up from the spot on the floor he had taken to staring at, swallowing hard. Something was wrong, he just knew something was wrong...he couldn't explain how he knew, but he did know as he shook his head and called out, surprising Uncle Jesse from the silence they had been sat in. "N...n...No.....Bo!....No!"
  14. As Luke reached down to him, Bo reached up quickly and scrabbled to get a grip on his shirt, clinging on to him as he shook, crying more with relief as he felt his older cousin comforting him again.
  15. Luke watched the two of them leave with a slightly blank, horrified expression on his face. They had basically given Bo a death sentence....giving him the fate that he would have got if Luke had died as a result of that head injury....god had decided that this was Bo's time to go apparently....
  16. Bo swallowed as he heard the growling of a familiar engine approaching, huddling into himself more as it screeched to a stop...until moments later he heard his older cousins voice. Looking up, cheeks tear stained and shaking violently, he stammered out. "L...L...Luke..."
  17. Cooter sighed as he looked around his route for the wayward lost Duke. SHaking his head as he reached the one road they would all meet up on as the three linked together at this point. What's for sure was, apprently, Luke's estimation had been right...Bo was no where near to home seeing as he hadn't heard anything from the other two, although there was still time.
  18. As the three searches began their hunt for their wayward cousin, Bo was at the end of his teather. Every little noise pounded through his eardrums like the blood being pumped around his body by his racing heart. Eventually he just couldn't take it anymore and collapsed in the bushes at the side of the road, curling into himself and crying desperatly.
  19. Awww well thanks that's a real compliment! I'm only 18 so people rarely really listen to what I say so its nice to be taken seriously :-) Dukes is a subject close to my heart and to be honest maybe my opinion is a little biased because of that, but its helped me through some rough times recently and I just think that that episode sends out a lot of messages people dont see. And the epsiode on season 7 with the written Bo and Duke mistake is Sjy Bandits over Hazzard.
  20. Cooter sighed gently again and shook his head. "I don't think so...not this time...I think the only way he'll stay is if Luke gets rid of Cassie for good..."
  21. Cooter nodded and whispered to B.L. where everyone would be before hurrying out and taking off. Daisy was still asleep through all the rucus. She had worn herself out once she had gotten home that day, constantly worried about how bad her baby brother looked and how guilty she felt about not putting up a stronger fight to keep him with the family.
  22. Nah, he ain't caught us yet Boss....you wanna have a shot at it?
  23. Meanwhile, Bo had arrived back at the farm and seeing Uncle Jesse not there at that moment, he had run into his room and started packing his stuff into a suitcase. He wasn't taking much, seeing as nearly everything he had was shared with Luke, pictures, trophies everything like that was part Luke's too and while he was mad at Luke he wasn't about to take stuff that was also rightfully his. Sighing, he did however pick up his one favourite photo of him and Luke sitting on the hood of the newly created General Lee, he was just a teen then, just graduated from High School and Luke had just come back from the Marines. But they both had never looked happier...god how he wished he could have that with Luke again...but with that witch around there was no chance.
  24. Cooter sighed and watched, waiting until B.L. had gone to see Daisy before stepping forward and putting a supportive hand on Luke's shoulder, knowing right now Luke would be too worried to be able to think up a decent plan to find Bo. He however had been thinking about it for a while and, suprisingly, had come up with this. He had always said he may have been crazy but he wasn't dumb and this was one of the times that he could prove it. "Right y'all..I been thinkin' and the way I see it, there's three o'us and three routes to the hospital to check and Bo would be rememberin' how he got there and using that to find his way back. Unless we can eliminate a couple we could all take a route and split up. You got the one going through Chickasaw, the one going through Hatchappe going directly to Atlanta and the one going through Chockataw which goes through that county and round to join up with the Chickasaw route..."
  25. Micheals watched as the two men processed the odds and diagnosis they had been given and he had never felt more like the criminal. He had promised Bo and his family that he would get Bo well again come hell or high water....but this was high water so high that you couldn't help but drown in it. In all his years as a Doctor in that prison he had never let anything slip past him, never let anything get so serious there was a chance the patient could die. Now he could swear blind that it was because he had had a lot on when Bo arrived in the Prison Infirmary...the guy with the broken back, the possible Cholera outbreak, dealing with the reminants of a fight...but at the end of the day he knew that it was down to his negligance that Bo had suffered and now his family would suffer through the loss of their, from what he had picked up, youngest family member. That fact made it harder to bare than anything else, the fact Bo was the youngest...and when he thought about it, he was sure he looked it too when he was at perfect health. The baby blue eyes that he had so often seen staring back at him in pain, he could imagine them filled with the spark that was supposed to be there, with happiness, love....but pain should not be something that was embedded in them or should be etched permanantly into his features. Swallowing hard,he finally managed to choke out. "I'm...so sorry..."
