Picking Up the Pieces
Bo shook his head, closing his eyes and looking away again. "No....the Luke I grew up with was my brother but he died when she messed up his life...since then Luke got replaced with a guy I hardly even know anymore...I dont owe that guy anything....thanks for saying I could stay Cooter....but I'll just be going...I got stuff to pack..." He patted Cooter's shoulder and went back to the General, sliding in and starting up the engine.

A very bad day
Bo could do nothing but watch as Enos was taken out of his arms and loaded into the amublance, driven away without a word. He stood in the middle of the road, his trembling hands out in front of him covered in his friend's blood, and all he could do was stare at the red liquid that shined like ruby's on his skin and that now had soaked into the yellow stitching of his shirt. Luke quickly wrapped an arm around his younger cousins shoulders and led him over to the tap, washing his hands off. He was too used to the site of friend's blood for it to affect him badly, but the fact it was Enos still made him shudder. When all the blood was washed away he took off his own shirt and wrapped it around Bo, who despite the heat of the day was still shaking like a leaf in shock. "Come on cousin....lets get to the hospital..." He said, leading him towards General Lee and putting him in the back seat as Jesse followed carrying Daisy to the truck and setting off after the boys.

A very bad day
Bo swallowed as Enos gave no response and looked to Luke for help, but seeing his cousin looking so worried only served to panic him further. "Luke what're we gonna do?!" Luke snapped out of his shocked state and instantly into taking charge, seeing the fright in his baby cousins's eyes as well as the rate at which Enos was fading. "Keep talking to him Bo, i'm gonna go get an ambulance. Listen to me, keep that pressure on there and keep him awake okay..." Without waiting for a response, Luke dashed into the nearest building and telephoned for an ambulance while Bo concentrated on talking to Enos, desperatly trying to keep him awake.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo sighed gently, dreading going outside at all but he knew he had to. Nodding he pulled himself from the saftey of his covers and out of bed, putting on his boots and his shirt reluctantly.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo shook his head, not answering him but it was clear he wasn't as he rolled over so he was facing away.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Daisy sighed and nodded, standing up and putting her coat on, as Jesse did the same. "Alright...Luke you walk through with him, me and Daisy are going to be on the sides...out of sight."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Jesse sighed, rubbing a hand down his face. "We won't do too much today...just a little way in....and then we'll stop....each day we'll get a little deeper..."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Jesse sat forward. "Well whatever it is will have to be found out eventually, and I think its time we started getting Bo this help as soon as we can. HIs reaction tonight is showing how bad this is affecting him already and we cant afford to let him get any worse"

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Daisy sighed. "I really don't know...but there's a missing piece somewhere and I think Bo knows where it is....I just cant figure out what..."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Daisy sat up gently as Bo left, watching him go. "You know...I think there's things he ain't tellin' us..."

Luke is...
Luke is such a caring, protective guy. Cool Hands Luke and Bo being a great example. He never lets Bo out of his site and keeps him cool, and its clear he loves him like a brother. They're both so sweet,

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Eventually Bo pulled away and stood up, scrubbing a hand down his face and heading to his room without a word, getting into bed and curling under the covers like he used to do when he was a little kid.

A very bad day
Bo swallowed and followed Luke's lead, dashing to their oldest friend's side and carefully rolling him over, taking off hsi yellow shirt and pressing it to the wound, swiftly turning his yellow shirt a deep red. "Enos....Enos talk to me buddy..."

Picking Up the Pieces
Bo sighed and turned away, shaking his head. "you're right Cooter, people do change....so who's to say Cassie won't change again and hurt Luke again. I know that side to things from experience...yeah I slept with her but unlike Luke I learnt from my mistakes. Its her fault I cant sleep at night, its her fault I have to go into hospital once a month....she ruined my life and she ruined Luke's too but he's too hard headed to see that..." Swallowing, Bo turned back to Cooter teary eyed. "Cooter....I never wanted to abandon Luke, never....but I dont feel safe with Cassie around....I'm...I'm afraid....its her own fault she's on drugs, not mine I have no sympathy for her...and didn't Luke once say when I was with Diane....that anyone who chooses a girl over their family doesn't deserve to be called a Duke....oh yeah he told me he said that....and he promised that he would never put me in that position if I never did to him again....I kept my end of the deal...unlike him I learnt my lesson...I don't have a choice Cooter."

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Daisy sat next to Jesse and wrapped her arms around him gently, buurying her face in his shoulder carefully and hugging him, needing his comfort as Luke was comforting Bo. All this was terrifying and she knew with what Luke and Jesse were planning to do, it was only going to happen again and again until Bo had gotten over his fears. Bo continued to listen to Luke but wasn't really listening to what he was saying, just listening to his tone of voice as it sent waves of support and comfort through him.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
eventually Bo's breathing settled back down to normal as he breathed in the medicated air and listened to Luke's calming voice. He wished now more than ever that he wasn't being such a baby about his situation, seeing the worry in his families eyes and the panic hidden in their voices. And the doctors had said to him that this might be permanant too...how could he live with that and the fact that he might very well be going crazy?! He pulled away from the inhaler gradually and sat back, closing his eyes. His heart still felt like it was racing at a million miles an hour but at least he could breathe easy again with only a slight wheeze and a cough.

Picking Up the Pieces
Bo swallowed, sitting with Cooter on the porch. He slowly scrubbed a hand down his face, shaking a little with anger and he supposed a little fear, trying to calm hismself down which proved to be unsuccesful. "Cooter I can't be around Luke! Knowing him he's probably down at the jail house to free her and let her roam wherever she wants....she nearly got me killed Cooter! I still have health problems because of it, I still have NIGHTMARES because of it and Luke knows it! I may be being selfish in the way i'm thinking but he's letting a murderer back into his life! Into everyone's lives....that....in my view right now that makes him as bad as her, he's her acomplise! I don't wanna be around him, and Uncle Jesse'll take his side too. If he wants to date her again then fine but i'm not going to be a part of his life anymore. He has a choice to make....I've already got a guarenteed place on the NASCAR circuit, all I ever needed was a reason to go and Boss' permission which you know he'll give me in a heartbeat....guess now i've got the reason all that's left to do is go see Boss. I just need a place to stay until its sorted out....I am NOT staying in a place where I don't feel safe...and as long as Cassie has Luke under her thumb I don't feel safe." He finished, looking out over the land, his face red from the rant and breathing hard in anger and despair. If the tables were reversed and it was Bo doing this, Luke would be the first one to jump in and convince him it was wrong. He was such a hypocrite and Bo was sick of it.

Picking Up the Pieces
Bo swallowed as he walked inside and paused as he looked around, leaning on the counter as he got to thinking about everything, clenching his jaw as his scar throbbed with a phantom pain and memories sprung up. Shaking his head he turned and stormed back out the door, turning to Cooter. "Cooter can I move in here?"
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo had no choice but to let Jesse and Luke move him to the couch, too focused on trying to slow his heart and breathing down to care about much else. He didn't know what was happening but it felt like a panic attack gone completly off the chart. Daisy ran from the room and retreived the 5 different inhalers Bo had, not knowing which one Jesse wanted, bringing them all hurridly back.
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo nodded, trying to catch his breath, not thinking anything was wrong with him, just his lungs playing up again where they were damaged. Daisy swallowed gently and looked to Luke first and then Jesse, something looked wrong and while Bo wouldn't admit it, he looked ill.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Daisy watched despairingly, she hated to see her baby cousin like this and hated the guy that had done this to him in the first place even more. She didn't understand how a friend could do such a thing to another friend...but then she supposed when a friend wasn't a friend anymore it didn't matter. She thought that maybe that was what was wrong with Bo more than anything. The reasoning behind his jumpiness could be that he simply didn't trust his friends anymore, that he suspected anyone and everyone now to attack him from behind. Ot at least his sub concious was, if you asked Bo if that was what was going on, he would probably deny it even though a nagging feeling in the back of his head would have told him that was it. She softly rubbed his back and ran her fingers through his mess of bouncy blonde hair, soothing him through actions while Luke and Jesse tried to through words. But Bo found that no matter how hard he tried, it was like someone had turned the rate of his heart up to maximum and it wasn't about to slow down anytime soon. He swallowed and coughed harshly, leaning forward and holding his chest with one hand.

Picking Up the Pieces
Bo nodded, heading inside. "I'll just go nap for a little while thanks Cooter...thanks very much..." He was so thankful that Cooter wasn't asking anymore questions. He really couldn't answer them right now.
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo looked disbelievingly to his older cousin, shaking his head "What scrambling away and breathing so hard they're barely breathing at all?! Luke...please....I know that reactions not normal..."
-
Picking Up the Pieces
Jesse sighed as he watched Luke go, praying for his family and their saftey and hapiness. Bo swallowed "Can I just be left alone please Cooter...I'm tired...."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo nodded, his head hung and his eyes still closed. Daisy swallowed and came in from the kitchen, kneeling beside him. "Bo I'm so sorry..." "No! No don;'t be sorry! You dropped a board....I should be apologising to you! NO one reacts like that...no one..." Bo practically yelled.
