  1. Mira called out to Jeff to come back, but her plea's seemed to fall of deaf ears. A lone tear tracked from the corner of her blue eye and down her cheek. He doesn't believe me, she thinks to herself, I have to get him to talk to me, to believe... I know he's my son, I just know it. Maybe if I talk to those other people, the ones who think they're his parents. They have to see the truth. I will not lose more time with my boy. Mira's eyes narrow again showing steely determination. She straightens her shoulders and tightens her lips, turning on her heel and striding off to her rented mustang. She pauses only long enough to get directions from the town mechanic before racing out of town toward the Duke farm. (cue anyone)
  2. "Hello Jeffery. It's so nice to meet you face to face after all of these years." Mira returned his friendly smile with a gentle one of her own. She looked over every inch of him, taking in every detail especially his facial features. "I've known about you for a very long time, but I didn't know your name or exact whereabouts until very recently. We've lost so much time together that I want to make up for now." Mira smiles again and reaches out a hand to him, but lets it drop to her side quickly. "I'm Mira Finnigan, and..." she takes a deep breath trying to get a hold of her nervousness and excitement before continuing. "I think I'm your biological mother." she finishes with a rush. She looks into his eyes expectantly, waiting for his reaction to her news. (cue anyone)
  3. "Jeffery! Wait! Just turn around!" she exclaims, trying to catch up with his long strides without breaking her neck on her high heels. "You have to listen to me! Just stop, please!!!" Sensing that he seemed to be slowing down, she keeps up her pace until she is within a few feet from this tall boy. "Listen to me, please?" She gasps, out of breath. "My name's Mira. You don't know me, but hopefully we can change that. I have to tell you something so very important." She flips slightly grayed, dark brown hair over her shoulder and narrows her light blue eyes. "But I'm not going to tell you unless you face me Jeffery. And this is something I know you'll want to know." (Cue Anyone)

    LOST

My parents got me stuck on this show believe it or not. It definitely keeps a person guessing.
  5. What an awesome race both Saturday and Sunday! I just got back from my mini vacation to the speedway and enjoy every minute of it. Even the camping out in a tent in this cold weather! Everyone in the stands was screaming and yelling for Mark Martin to hang on to his lead and he did it. Of course I'm happy also that my boy, Carl Edwards, came in third.
  6. Nope, it's not spectacular. But I still think it's cool that it was chosen out of a whole decade of stuff.
  7. I just bet they are! You didn't get to see that slow, sexy wink up close did you? I'm sure I would melt at his feet.
  8. It's pretty cool although it's just a small blurb. It's a response to all of the negative critics regarding DOH.
  9. That would be me, or even when Enos is telling Daisy Happy Birthday in the same episode and just stares at her legs with that big Enos grin. That would be me, I'd be lost in Tom's blue, blue, blue eyes...
  10. I received my weekly tv guide in the mail last night. It is a special edition that has a lot of comments from past tv guides. There is a quote from Tom Wopat in the 80's section regarding the Dukes of Hazzard. I wish I had it with me so I could type it in here. There were no pictures to go along with the quote to my dissatisfaction. Although it is pretty neat that from the whole decade of the 80's, he was one of the ones chosen. Go Tom!
  11. I would have to say season two and six are my favorites right now.
  12. My condolences go out to you and your family.
  13. If I had the chance to meet Tom I'm sure my mind would go blank and I'd just stand there with a silly grin on my face. I'll never know until it happens though. Maybe I'll get lucky someday. *sigh*
  14. I'm happy that Tom doesn't ignore his Dukes roots. I'm also so jealous that you got to meet him! How lucky can you get?!
  15. Quite an exciting race on Sunday at Talladega. Poor Mark Martin and Dale Jr. and all the rest caught up in the wreckage on lap 20.
  16. I live in central Missouri, but will be in Kansas over the weekend for the races.
  17. I so agree about Chase, he's also my favorite and sooooo nice to look at!
  18. I've never heard of them, but they sound like they have some really fun songs.
  19. My brother is cheering for Martin too. He's been Adam's favorite for a long time now.
  20. I like this show even though I rarely get the chance to watch it. House is such a jacka** most of the time and I have to laugh. Of course if I was treated like that in real life I wouldn't be laughing.
  21. Thanks for the therapy ya'll. It's good to know that I ain't the only one dreamin' these wonderful dreams. My friends tell me it's because I've gone past obsessive to fanatical. I guess it's all part of being a fan.
  22. This weekend is Talladega and I'm totally bummed that I don't get to go. My brother will be there in the infield and I'm so jealous. But it'll be my turn next weekend! I just found out I get to go to Kansas! Yeehaw!
  23. Awesome pic! Can you imagine Rosco in the one lone patrol car chasing that many General Lee's?
  24. I know this has already been posted, but I saw the episode with this in it last night and just have to add it again. "I'm gonna corn your dog you turnip!" Rosco to Enos. Rosco had some of the best lines.
  25. I don't know if I have a worst episode. I will admit that some of the episodes were way, way out there though. Such as Strange Visitor, but for me I laughed and laughed at this episode. It was so ridiculous it was funny. If I can laugh and enjoy myself, then it's not so bad.
