Because I'm still close to the UK, I'm usually identified as English, and that's fine with me (although I didn't celebrate St George's Day on Thursday!). My nationality is British, and that's probably how I'd be known further from home where people aren't so familiar with the differences between the Home Nations.

Hey y'all. I've been around here and there, just not logged in. Sorry to abandon y'all. I saw my name and it caught my eye. LOL. Thank you for remembering me. Sounds fun! Though I haven't been on my computer as much as I was a year ago, so I may not be able to post as much as before. I'm always ready to extend my winning streak.

If my math is correct, that's 10am my time which is fine with me. I'll be at work, so wouldn't normally have a chance to check HNet mid-morning.

I'm a night owl, so that won't be a problem. Mid-week it is. How about a Wednesday or Thursday around 2am my time? It'll probably be sometime this summer. I have a lot going on right now. Lots of doctor's appointments. If all goes well, the summer should be pretty quiet. Good time to do the update.

They're virtually unknown over here, and so far I've only seen them at this show. The guy goes by the name 'Cranky Yankee'. I've just checked his Facebook page, and apparently he'll be closer to where I live a couple of times over the summer.

NASCAR is at my favorite track today! It's Bristol, baby! (Darrell Waltrip use to say that.) Anyway, it's a track I've been at. Not for NASCAR, but when the Dukes had their Dukefest there. Those were good times. Just realized how much this car looks like Dale Earnhardts wrangler car.

I've just checked out their website - luraycaverns.com - and they're very impressive. One thing that confused me - if they were discovered in 1878, why does the tour guide wear an 18th century costume (I'm quoting the video)? That would date from at least 79 years before the caves were discovered!

We went down to our daughter's in Winchester Virginia Thursday (home of Patsy Cline) but didn't really have any plans to do anythjng in particular. We go there at least twice a year and have pretty much done everything in the area but had never been to Luray Caverns. (It is unbelievable!) When we were leaving I remembered that Cooter's was somewhere near there so my daughter looked it up and we were only 7 miles away! We didn't stay long because I was the only person of 6 who was interested but it was incredible. I almost want to call it a spiritual experience but that bothers me a little to use that word since I believe in God but that place is definitely Hazzard Heaven on Earth. I am going to keep an eye on the schedule and go down again next time they have a big event. I hate to travel but who knows what will happen to the place after Ben passes on to Hazzard Heaven so I definitely want to go back for something big. BTW Ben wasn't there. He lives 45 minutes away though. I tried to get some people to join HazzardNet but see they haven't yet. I am still in awe over Cooter's. You would think that you couldn't top something like Luray's Cavern. It is one of the most amazing natural wonders on Earth. But Crazy Cooter pulled it off just a few minutes later.

Count me in. I have a good feeling I'm going to win this year. I sure hope Garrett gets involved. I wonder if Skipper is going to be towing the Minnow again. All that extra weight didn't seem to slow him down last year.

That is interesting Hoss. We didn't see any guides or anybody dressed like that. It looked like everybody was taking the self guided tour and just following the trail. I have a fear of caves but only got real nervous when we were half way through and I found out there is only one way in and one way out. They also had a toy museum there that wasn't very impressive but the car museum was amazing. They were part of the admission price.

I'm about to watch Jeopardy and the news and then......you guessed it! I'm about to speak with the spirits in a little bit....... 2 Milwaukee's Best Ice that I have left! I'll probably go out and get more tomorrow! I hope Garrett's ok and I sure hope our supreme superior leader is doing well! I miss both of them! In the words of Roscoooo P. Cooootrane! For a small island, they've made a lot of great music. I've been here over 20 years, and I've discovered a load of songs I'd never heard before over the last few weeks. The radio station spent the whole day playing the top 50 yesterday. No current chart music and nothing from outside of Ireland. They finished up with a show from a pub featuring some of the acts from the top 100 playing live. So many of the songs have an emotional connection to people, with listeners both loving them and fighting back tears. I'm also impressed that the top 100 included songs from last year back to at least 1970. Sadly, this song didn't make the list. While you guys are eating pancakes and waffles in the morning, we have this deli/gas station delight. It's basically a full Irish breakfast in a bread roll. It's been a while since I've had one, and it's making me hungry listening to it. Two eggs, two sausage, two rasher, two bacon, two puddings one black, one white All stacked like a tower on top of each other and rolled up good and tight If you're having some tea, the milks over there, and you'll find sugar in the bowl Says she, "Do you want some sauce on that?" Nice photos, Hoss! Magnum, PI was one of my favorite shows so I was excited to see the Ferrari. A lawyer in my hometown had a 308 in the late 80's. I got to see it often on my drive to school since his practice was right near the high school.
