  1. Garrett Duke struggles off Hobie while watching everyone fight over moonshine. "Amateurs," he scoffs as he abruptly turns right onto an off road area. He braces himself through the rough terrain and swipes left to miss a fallen log before the path abruptly turns back onto the road and Garrett laughs to see Hobie several car lengths behind him now.

  6. Everybody here knows I'm low tech so it may come as no surprise that I ask what an emulator is. My grandson got me hooked on Skyrim a couple years ago. I like medieval stuff so I'm loving it.

  7. Do you guys prefer Racing for Home or Daisy Dukes it Out? I'm about to start playing the second one on an emulator until I can get a physical copy and I'm curious. I saw a video once saying it was a bad game and I think it's just young people referring to older graphics cause so far the game looks really cool. I've only ever played the first and third games. I had beaten the first growing up but I always got stuck trying to follow Enos on the third

  8. Hey my fellow Hazzardites! I'm watching Moon Runners right now! You guys have seen that one haven't you? It's the one that started it all! If you haven't, you need to see it! It's funny and at the same time, closer to what the lifestyle is really like but I didn't like it when Jesse died but besides that, it was a good movie!

  9. After pulling out the pin that disconnected the Minnow, the tongue of the trailer dug into the dirt and stopped the trailer/Minnow in it's tracks. Jesse's dirt bike launched into the air like a catapult, right over the creek. With the new coconut fuel in his tank Jesse knew he would catch the rest of the group soon. He looked in his mirror at the Minnow and trailer on the other side of the creek and figured Skipper would miss it....but also thought Skipper would forgive him since Ford Mustangs are much faster when they aren't pulling yachts. As he watched the stuck trailer and yacht get smaller and smaller in his mirror Jesse couldn't resist singing...."The Minnow would be lost. The Minnow would be lost."

  12. Hobie just got back in the action after a delayed pit stop! He knows the Moonshine Mauler has the power to out run everyone but he's not sure when to make his move! He just gets on the straightway of the track and puts his heel to the steel! He's passing all kinds of racers.....he still hasn't seen Meadow or Daisy yet!

  13. Garrett just nods at him as he stares at the road ahead. Looking back in his rearview mirror he sees everyone getting closer as he fights with Skipper. Looking back at Skipper he is impressed by the manpower and speed of his car. But what everyone doesn't know, is that he has a souped up Jeff Gordon engine under his hood. The same engine that brought Jeff Gordon to the checkered flag and championships many times. "See ya later," Garrett shouts at Skipper as he presses the accelerator to the floor and Spittin' Cobra flies ahead and Garrett cuts Skipper off again before rushing ahead.

  14. "Hello Garrett!" (Waves at him.) "This interesting since we both have Mustangs." With that, puts the hammer down and races after Garrett to get the lead back again.

  15. Garrett watches in amazement to see Skipper literally jump ahead of him before anger settles in. "Ain't no way no boat is gonna beat Spittin' Cobra!" he states as he aggressively fights his way besides Skipper. Garrett forces a smile at Skipper and a wave while yelling out his window at Skipper, "Nice move!" With that he goes off track a bit to gain some momentum before weaving back on track to cut Skipper off.

  19. And then things got even worse for Jesse. The fire reignited and he wasn't able to put it out this time. He ran away from the motorcyle, knowing what was about to happen. Just as he got out of harm's way the Yamaha went up in a fireball because of the power of Professor's fuel. He felt the blast and could feel the heat but he was okay. It looks like another year with no trophy. But that wasn't the worst of it. How would he tell Emma her back up dirt bike was destroyed. Just when it appeared he wouldn't see the checkered flag, a Hazzard miracle appeared from around the corner.

  26. What Uncle Jesse doesn't know, is the Skipper had backup moonshine with him inside the car. 2 jugs of Mr. Thurston Howell III's famous Brandy Peaches. He converted this to Moonshine and supplied the Skipper with this backup fuel in case someone decided to steal the Professor's Coconut Shine.

  28. https://www.romsgames.net/gameboy-color-rom-dukes-of-hazzard-the-racing-for-home/ If you download Pizza Boy C or "My OldBoy" from the app store and then download the game from this link you can play the Game boy game. You just have to move it into a folder of it's own the emulators don't like to play stuff from the download folder. I do recommend this site over any other it has the least malicious stuff trying to pop up. (Not actually malicious it's just ads least intrusive than what we see on here but the other rom sites are riddled with them) There's even a thing call Retroachievements and they have trophies for older games. None for and Dukes game yet sadly but it's been requested by a few people (Definitely get the kids help if it's too complicated cause it's really worth it being able to play the dukes of hazzard anywhere you are to kill time while waiting)

  29. Oh I love Skyrim! Big Lord of the Rings fans my brother and I! (Obviously I know that's not Skyrim but I meant it be ause it's also fantasy) So like an emulator is a way of playing games for specific consoles on other devices. There's an app on the app store called DuckStation and if you download that then go to search for the dukes of hazzard "rom" you can then download and extract using something like rar and then you're able to play that specific PlayStation game on your phone. It's how I was playing the first before I got it on an actual disc. Gameboy games are much easier like seriously just download a "gameboy emulator" like Pizza Boy C from the store and download the Racing For Home GBC rom you can play that on anything. They work on my thirty dollar tracphone.

Monaco isn't a great track for overtaking, but today's race definitely didn't lack drama. Unfortunately, we were deprived of the anticipated fight at the front when Max Verstappen's Red Bull had a problem at the start and retired at the end of the first lap. Luckily, all the cars behind avoided him, and the Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc set off after Kimi Antonelli. Behind them, Isack Hadjar had problems with his car all afternoon, but George Russell couldn't get by. The same was true for Lando Norris who was passed by Pierre Gasly at the start and also couldn't pass. There were a lot of penalties given out today, including about a third of the field getting 5 seconds for speeding in the pit lane. There were so many that the commentators questioned the sensor accuracy. For the second race in a row, World Champion Lando Norris had to retire when his car failed. On lap 60/78, when there were only 3 or 4 cars still on the lead lap, Lance Stroll crashed his Aston Martin into the barrier on one of the slowest corner bringing out a safety car. Pretty much all the drivers used this as a chance to get new tires, but while Lewis served his penalty at the stop, George didn't which earned him a further drive-through penalty. The race restarted on lap 65, but was immediately back behind the safety car as Charles Leclerc hit the same barrier as Lance. After a couple more laps the race was red flagged when it was determined that the crashes may have been caused by the surface of what is a regular road breaking up. The road was swept and the race resumed after about a half hour delay. Kimi held his nerve at the restart and became the youngest winner of the Monaco Grand Prix. He wasn't even born when the race was last won by an Italian driver. Lewis held on for second, but couldn't touch Kimi's pace. George dropped out of the points serving his penalty. Despite his car troubles, Isack finished third and Oscar Piastri finished fourth. Before the race, Liam Lawson told one of the presenters that he'd be lucky if his car made the start. He finished fifth. You can see the highlights here. With five wins in a row, Kimi now leads the championship by 66 points from Lewis who has moved up to second. Only a single week to wait until the Spanish Grand Prix.

F1 is on the tight street circuit of Monaco this weekend. Ferrari were the ream to beat in the first two practice sessions, but Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli, current drivers' championship leader, topped to table in the third session. The final qualifying session went down to the wire with pole position changing places a couple of times in the final seconds. In the end, Kimi took another pole from Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Charles Leclerc, at his home race, clipped one of the barriers and got a puncture on his final attempt. The top six provide a neat mirror image being Mercedes-Red Bull-Ferrari-Ferrari-Red Bull-Mercedes, but leave George Russell wondering why he's five places behind his team mate. This is McLaren's 1,000th Grand Prix, but they could only manage seventh and eighth on the grid. You can watch the qualifying highlights here. I don't think there's any rain predicted for tomorrow's race, so it'll be interesting to see whether the new engines specs and two extra cars this year make a difference on the crowded track.

  35. Now that Uncle Jesse sabotaged the Minnow and Skipper is no longer towing it, he's rid of the excess weight, and jumps Dry Creek and cuts Garrett Duke off stealing 1st place from him.

  36. Road Pirate... You need PlayStation 1 The Dukes of Hazzard II Daisy Dukes It Out, PlayStation 2 The Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee, and Game Boy Color The Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home now. You'll be all set if you collect them all. Or Xbox Return of the General Lee if you have an Xbox.

  37. So I had been playing the PlayStation and GBC versions on my phone with emulators. Well today I went down to my local game store and traded in two receivers for and a broken rock band controller for parts. Came out with, amongst two- well I just say the whole load. I got TMNT 2 and Sims 2 Pets for the PS2. Picked up a Betty Boop DVD for my mom. A copy of Munster Go Home, as well as a PS1 memory card for my PS2 and a copy of Racing for Home!!!!!!!! Probably gonna delete my ROM for the game off my phone since there are sadly no trophies for it anyway but I'm really happy to own this game again!!!!!!! I only had my PS2 for two weeks and already got me the game. A little store called AFK in East Liverpool, OH. They had two other copies but I made sure I got the best case, disc, and manual. Gona play it in a few moments once I cool off

  43. I could be wrong but this may be related to the type of screens PlayStation and GameBoy would be out put on. Gameboy had no backlight so they often shifted tones of colors to make them appear better. The PlayStation also relies on scan lines for certain pictures to look a specific way. For example the sky might pop a bit more if playing on a crt tv.

    Concerts?

Confederate Railroad was the first concert I was able to go to and I had enjoyed every moment of the concert. They were a great band. Now each time I hear them on the radio, I think of that night I went with my mom. I have been to many more concerts since then. I have seen Billy Ray Cyrus and John Micheal Montgomery at least three or four times each. Even been on stage with Billy Ray at the last concert I went to. The best concerts I've gone to (not including any concerts or shows at the four Dukefests I've gone to) have been Kenny Chesney with Keith Urban and Dierks Bently (several years ago), Keith Urban with Little Big Town, Brooks N Dunn (Twice) Brad Paisley and Toby Keith would be my favorite three shows I've gone to. Alan Jackson with Martina McBride were great, but could have been better if they had a better sound to it - they were in a football arena and you couldn't understand them when they talked. Toby Keith was at the same place and had the same trouble as well. Keep it between the ditches Garrett Duke
