After the day I had yesterday I needed a good laugh . I got covered in leaves and dirt and God knows what else from two incompetent bozo's that is part of the 2nd different lawn crew that has been hired this year. They said they didn't see me while they're goofing off with leaf blowers to which I replied 'how the bleep could you not see me standing here'. Let's just say they best not be goofing off in the parking lot today as I might not see them standing there while driving. Bad enough the clowns covered the upper and lower grille openings in the wife's car with leaves and crap. Yeah stores, restaurants, bars and businesses except for grocery stores and essential businesses have to close at 10pm and not re-open till 5am or face being closed for 24 hours or a week if they disobey the curfew multiple times. Currently Lucas county is averaging about 500 probable covid cases per day with about two thirds of them being confirmed cases. We went from averaging about a thousand or less confirmed cases per month over the summer till the end October to almost 5,000 so far this month. For some reason people can't figure out how or why to which I reply 'election day'. Like a friend found out in their church it only takes one person to be sick with covid to show up and definitely not social distance to spread it. That church is now closed and only doing virtual services again.

  2. Despite other inaccuracies, the British police were driving recognizable Rover SD1 cars. With their 3.5 V8, they were iconic police vehicles in the '80s, especially in their more common "jam sandwich" livery (the white cars with an orange stripe down the middle looked like a jam (or jelly in the US) sandwich). You can see one here. Someone once suggested that I could see a band when their tour visited London. It turned out to be the one in Canada!

  3. I don't think I've noticed that before, Roger. From what I can see, Zeb was played by Richard Johnson, but the part is uncredited. He was previously one of the ultralight pilots in 'Daisy's Shotgun Wedding' (where he was credited as Rick Johnson). I assumed Toby was Dr. Davis' bearded assistant, but I can't find any contemporary pictures of him for comparison, and he isn't named in the dialogue. I'll try to watch the episode in full over the weekend.

The problem is that was the microscopic little viruses don't have watches so don't know what time it is. How can you possibly obey a curfew if you don't even know the time? The latest proposal is to buy tiny watches for the little germs so they know when to stay away from humans. The latest plan is to poof 10 trillion digital dollars into existence out of nothingness (that our grandchildren will be responsible for) and use that money to fund development of watches small enough for them to read. The ten trillion is payable to the Hogg Micro Timepiece Company, Route 36, Hazzard County, Georgia. Hey, it's as good as plan as any.

    NASCAR news

Lewis has undoubtedly had the best car for the last few years, although last year's Ferrari should've won more. During his time at Mercedes, only Nico Rosberg beat him to a single World Championship. Car not withstanding, he probably is the driver of his generation. It'll be good to see Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc in more competitive cars, and they're both only 23, so they should be around for a while.

  6. March 1st is Catherine Bach's birthday. That's a big deal around the HazzardNet. While it might be Daisy Duke's day, it's pendragon1980's month because she has been selected as HazzardNet's "Fan of the Month". Pendragon has been a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard since childhood and her love of the best show on television comes through with her writings here at the best website on the internet. A veteran of many years of fanfic writing on this (and less important) sites, pendragon's character Doc Walker (AKA Dr. Chance Walker) is legendary on the HazzardNet. Pendragon loves the challenge of trying to fit the good doctor into stories where such talented writers are creatively bringing fiction to life. And she's very good at it. Don't take our word for it. Check some of her work out for yourself if you haven't already. Pendragon has been a member of the HazzardNet since 2003. She has made dozens of friends here and considers those friendships the most valuable blessing of her HazzardNet experience. Her favorite character is Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane...."Khee khee...I Love it, I love it" and she delights in watching Rosco and Boss interact....don't we all! Her favorite episode is "Jude Emery" and she wishes he would have been on more than just one ep. Hmmm, poor old Enos would have had some serious competition for Daisy if Jude would have hung around Hazzard much longer. She has been to two Dukesfests and met several of the stars including James Best, John Schneider and Rick Hurst. Being from Pittsburgh, she is of course a Steelers football fan. She is also an avid reader of anything and everything, especially the HazzardNet. She loves the Dukes because it's good old-fashioned, clever, funny, family entertainment. Finally, her two biggest priorities are family and helping others. Us folks here on the HazzardNet are honored to be part of her second family. Thanks for all your contributions pendragon1980!

We had 330 new cases today. That's just over one and a half times as many as you, but with a population over 18 times as large.
