I've been buying CDs since about 1986, so it's easy to forget some of the songs I have in my collection, especially when I bought the album for a different track.

Not for a while, but I've certainly done it with compilation/sampler albums in the past. Sometimes they have an artist's non-album track or remix, while other times it might be hard to find complete albums by an obscure artist (this is much less relevant since the internet took over). A few years ago I ripped all my CDs to my computer. Every so often I'll hear a track I like, and when I check out who it's by, I find that I have the song already, hidden away on a CD I bought years ago!
  3. In Hazzard, the more things change, the more they stay the same. This is also true at Cooter's Place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. About a year ago, Cooter's in Gatlinburg relocated to nearby Pigeon Forge due to unforseen circumstances. The new location does not have the 'familily fun center' gocarts and indoor mini golf. However, the new store brings opportunities to build new fun experiences for Dukes fans to enjoy. In addition to easier access and expanded room for events and more cool Hazzard merchandise and collectibles, we are now buiding in the famiilar setting of the Hazzard Garage. The General Lee needs a cozy home after all! This will be just the first of more things to come over the coming months, so stay tuned!

I bought Waylon Jennings Honky Tonk Heroes CD for song #11 Slow Rollin' Low just so I could own Moonrunners(1975) movie theme. But I came to really love the other tracks of the CD. Has anyone else done this? Bought a CD for a specific track?

I know what you mean. I buy some of Waylon's only cuz The Dukes is on it.

    Is this available on Amazon?
  12. Of course it doesn't make a person less of a fan if he or she likes those. I suppose the question could be reversed and asked "If someone DOESN'T enjoy them, are they less of a fan?" The answer to that would be the same. What makes you a fan is how much love you have for Dukes in your heart. This means that Skipper Duke is not just a fan, he's a Super Fan!
  13. I've watched both of them, but can't say that I particularly enjoyed either of them. I was initially happy when I heard they were making a movie, but I wish they'd stayed closer to the series regarding character traits and storyline. I still refuse to watch the 2017 CHiPs movie because that seems even further from the series upon which it's based. To answer your question, you're free to like what you want. It doesn't make you less of a fan.
