TV

Just wanted to see what TV shows ya'll would like to see on DVD. I didn't want to make a poll because there are too many to list... 1. BJ & The Bear 2. Misadventures Of Sheriff Lobo 3 Mama's Family (both the NBC and syndicated) 4. Harper Valley PTA 5. Movin' On ( 70's truckin' show) I am sure I will think of more later...Now let's see what everyone else would like... Darrell

What did everybody think of when they heard on the Nick and Jessica Tour of Duty and what about Willie Nelson singing the Dukes theme song?

One Burning Question here was the show Airwolf cbs answer to Knight Rider or was they both by Universal Studio? Was Airwolf a spin-off of Knight Rider, because they are so similar as one is on the road and one in the air?

Calling all Fans of Smallville, well the good news is that Jason it looks like they are killing his character off. This second boyfriend of Lana's that they have killed off on the show. Well actually they also killed off Whitney in the show and she had the guy in Magnetic that went off the deep end in an way.

Have anyone seen Robot Chicken on [adult swim]? It is so funny and they had some DOH stuff on it to. It is like actoin figs and they do funny stuff and they had a Diecast General lee and Bo and Luke figs.

There are a bunch of trucks that jump over a little knoll..I guess is the best way to put it. Then there are these two guys in a car...dust..dusty..or soething like that and the one guy is yelling YEAHHHH!! I saw it last night and forgot to post about it. Seems like its a nod to DOH. Well, that was my take on it. Anyone else see it? Comments?

Mine is DOH is first and in 2nd is Macgyver. I just like the fact that both the good guys get in to trouble but manage to think their way out. Ex the duke boys drive a fast race car and Macgyver thinks and uses science to catch the bad guys or most of them.

There was famous episode involving black market and certain desk. It was when they introduced Charlie Lee as General Lee, and a dest went flying.

Okay, you might ask what the heck The Monkees could have in common with the Dukes of Hazzard. The answer is: not a darn thing! But there is a car worth mentioning in this show. Does anyone remember the Monkeemobile? This was a red convertable GTO with a white top. It had a cut-out hood with half the engine sticking up out of it. What a machine. Sadly, it was never shown off as much as it should have been. ( And I don't think Davy Jones could see over the dash to drive it.) I wonder whatever became of that car. Brian

wasn't there a 2hr DOH pilot movie? When I was a kid I remember seeing the Duke boys fixing the General and welding the doors shut. If there is one, does anyone know where I can get a copy?

In a Race who would win The General Lee , Kitt or the Batmoble. i think the General Lee would beat Kitt and the batmoble what do Ya'll think.

And not the usual alot of the same folks "guest starred" on both series. Clue: Nelda Volz and Peggy Rea both played a character named Emily on this show about a mother and her two daughters that started in 1975, ended in 1984. Who was one of the first season writers? Daney

Posum Inners, their better the second day.

Just curious to see what kind of shows everyone on here watches. I did this with the typ of music ya'll listen and now it's TV time... My current favorite show and has been for the past few years is 24. That show just leaves me speechless at the twists ands turns all the time. Another show I love is a British spy show shown on A&E called M.I.-5 . Similar to 24 but not set in a 24 hour period. Not really much of the current sit-coms I watch. I loved Doc with Billy Ray Cyrus , but that recently ended. I am sure I will think of others. 1. 24 2. MI-5 3. CSI - the original 4. Lost 5. Alias

Awright, let's see if anybody 'fesses up to ever seeing this one. This is a 60's-era Japanese cartoon, with English voice-overs. The star-car of this show was the "Mach 5", which was a futuristic race car with gadgets galore. Pretty much, it looked more or less like a white, convertible Corvette with a red "M" on the hood and a "5" on the door. The Mach 5 was supposed to be a race car. ( Did you know, " racecar" spelled backwards, is "racecar?" ) Anyhow, for a racecar, it was equipped iwth ridiculous features that had no practical NASCAR application, yet came in handy in every race. This is because the young hero of this series had a propensity to attract the at…

I think the outcome purely depends on the type of contest. The General is more visibly impressive doing 180's, due to the longer chassis. KITT, however, would trounce the General at a spelling bee. Ya gotta pick yer battles. Brian
