Debate which of the three Smokey and the Bandit movies were the best (I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the third). Or just talk about your other favorite movies.

My wife and I rented "The Taking of Pelham 123" tonight. Normally I don't read credits at the end of a movie but for some reason I caught these. After the name Gary Baxley caught my eye I backed it up to make sure I read it right. After that, I went to his bio on the internet, and sure enough, Hazzard County's very own Gary Baxley was one of the stunt men on that movie. I wish I would have know which stunt (or stunts) he did. It's always a thrill to see a Hazzardite's name on the screen when you're not expecting it.

Well I found out the titles for all the Herbie Movies outthere and they are The Love Bug, Herbie Rides Again, Herbie Goes Banannas and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo which is my dad's favorite and who can forget about Herbie Fully Loaded as well with Lindsey Lohan.

One of the BEST movies I've ever seen. Poetic, emotional, intense. And the sound-track... OMG, the sound-track is amazing (uh, well, Joe Hisaishi is great, always!!) OK, I admit I'm a fan of oriental movies....

Kickin it Old Skool has Jamie Kennedy, Micheal Rosembuam and I believe Nick Lachey lady as well. This is the story of Justin who went into a Coma after a breakdancing fall back in 1986 and wakes up twenty years later. Micheal Rosenbuam everybody will remember from playing Lex Luthor on Smallville in this movie he reminds you more of Hughie Hogg. Now rich and successful Ryan Seacrest type host that was Justin's rival, his character's name is Kip and he has the girl that Justin loved back in 1986. There is alot of 1980's mentions and even David Hasselhoff and Kitt have Cameo's in this movie. Christphor McDonald and Debra Jo Rupp play his parents that don't understand why he…

Adaptation: Secret Window, Secret Garden novella from Stehpen King's Four Past Midnight collection. Quotes: "This is just bad writing." "The only thing that matters is the ending." Plot outline: A stranger accuses a well known author of plagiarism. This is one of the few book into a motion picture deals that I like.

I just watched the funnest movie ever the other day on TV. It was called Lone Star State of Mind. It was soo funny! It has Matthew Davis in it, (He's reallly good looking! hahahaha) and a guy off of another movie that I can't think of right now. (Helpful eh?) But if you see it on TV one night, I would suggest that you watch it. I don't know if it would be exactly "Everybody's cup-o-tea" per-say, but it's a really funny movie

As some of you know and some of you have seen by reading the Chance Walker series, I am a big supports of the Doctors/Nurses Without Borders programs. These brave people volunteer their medical skills to go into some of the most devastated war-torn or disease ridden areas of the world, often risking their own lives to heal others. I've used DWM in Doc's stories and as a explanation to when is not in Hazzard, but I'm glad to see now there is a documentary coming, giving a first hand view what this program is about and how it affects both the doctors and the people living in these countries. I'm glad DWB is starting to get the recognition and increased awareness its deserv…

I went to see this with my little sister's friend, because I wanted to make her feel better after they had gotten into a fight. I wasn't expecting it to be so funny. My favorite part in the whole movie is when Steve Martin meets a British Seceret Service Agent 006, the exchange between them is so funny; "I'm agent 006, British seceret service." "Aww One step from the big time eh?" the guy just gives him a dirty look and keep talking.

Walk the Line (2005) Trivia: I heard that just like with Lou Diamond Phillips (Ritchie Valens) La Bamba (1987), the production team of Walk the Line wanted Joaquin Phoenix to be dubbed or lip sync Johnny Cash's songs. Just like Lou did with Ritchie, Joaquin refused and sang all Cash songs himself. He learned to play the guitar too. Reece Witherspoon also did her own singing as June Carter.

Anyone into semi-gory horror movies? If so, check out Wrong Turn, if you haven't already. It's like the movie Deliverence, I've been told, since I haven't seen that one yet.

This a Burt Reynolds movie that came out the same year as "Smokey and The Bandit" but this is great movie and it's funny and he has the same jersey number as he did in "The Longest Yard(1974)" I wonder what Burt Reynolds likes about the number 22. Well, this movie has him playing Billy Clyde Plunkett(I think that was his character's last name in the movie) and he was a running back in the movie. I has a very funny Church scene after the ceremony you just have to see or if you seen this movie you know what I'm talking about. Question did Burt Reynolds play football in real-life at high school or College because he seems like such a natural at it?

This is a very good action movie and it's cross between Indiana Jones and a James Bond movie. Well, here's the thing I had found out just yesterday and this is it. Did anybody know that there Bogart did a movie called Sahara in 1943.

The movie not the series episode of the same title. A motion picture from a short lived television show, rare for that to happen. I took the advise of two friends that the movie can be watched without knowledge from the television series. They were right, I had no trouble following the images & story presented on screen at all. Very quality piece!
