Sorry to interrupt the football talk . . . I am still excited to be moving forward into the playoffs. It's been a long time since the Bears have made it this far. They play the Rams Sunday in cold weather. The Rams aren't conditioned for warm weather and play in a dome. The Bears will have the advantage there. . . But to bring it back to NASCAR for a bit. . . NASCAR has updated the Chase format for all three series for 2026 and ahead. Of what I understand that winning in the regular season won't lock you in as it has been the past few years. It's going back to more to the old Chase system. There will still be 16 drivers (in the top series). The driver with the most points at the end of the ten Chase races wins the championship.  Here is an article with more information on the new Chase format: NASCAR returns to Chase format for 2026 | NASCAR Of what I have been seeing, the drivers seem to have a positive feedback on it. I personally feel like it's a step in the right direction.  32 more days until the Daytona 500!!!!
