  2. I saw the phrase "Tír na nÓg" (it means "Land of Youth") painted on several buildings, and the bar was advertising "Ceol Anocht" ("Music Tonight"), but I don't think it was the Celtic Women. It was probably traditional Irish music, but we had food waiting at the house, so we didn't stay to find out. Just to keep you happy, Roger:

  4. That is exciting....I've never done that because I don't like to travel but haven't ruled it out. Glad to hear you had so much fun.

  8. The Real Gilligan's Island Fun Fact: The huts in The Real Gilligan's Island (2004-2005) reality series remake are brown weathered like in the first Reunion movie Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978). Wow! 😲

  10. The Real Gilligan's Island Season 1(2004) Skipper Jim Murray is permanently vanished to the other side of the island in a Voodoo Village vote off. Scott Laskey:"Skipper Jim, the Castaways have decided with 3 votes you cannot be rescued, and are now permanently vanished to the other side of the island. Please join me up here. I'll give you a moment now to address your fellow castaways." Skipper Jim Murray:"Good times, good friends, I wish you all the best, fair winds and following seas!" ❤️
  11. "Loving the classic intros by Scott Laskey on The Real Gilligan's Island! Who else remembers these iconic opening lines? Season 1: "Tonight on the Season premiere of The Real Gilligan's Island, 14 castaways set sail on a three hour tour and the adventure of a lifetime." Season 2: "Tonight on the Season premiere of The Real Gilligan's Island, we're back with 14 new castaways, set to embark on a three hour tour and the adventure of a lifetime." The way he sets the stage for the adventure to come is just perfect! Share with me your favorite moments from the show! #TheRealGilligansIsland #ScottLaskey #ClassicTV"
  12. "🤣 Behind-the-Scenes Gold! 🤣 Skipper Charlie's interview in Season 2 of The Real Gilligan's Island is a MUST-SEE! 🎬 When asked about Professor T-yie, Skipper Charlie had this to say: "Professor T-yie barks like a junkyard dog. All you gotta do is jump the fence, kick the dog, and it will run off and hide somewhere." 😂😆 We love Skipper Charlie's candid and humorous take on his fellow castaway! Professor T-yie might have met his match with Skipper Charlie's no-nonsense attitude 🤣. Share your favorite behind-the-scenes moments from the show! #TheRealGilligansIsland #SkipperCharlie #BehindTheScenes"
  13. I'm just back from a couple of days in Connemara - a scenic region in Co. Galway on the Atlantic west coast of Ireland. I went as part of a group, and we all had a very enjoyable trip despite the miserable weather yesterday. The area is part of a Gaeltacht - a region where Irish is the first language, and very few of the road signs are in English, although everyone speaks English. Last night several of us went for a drink at the nearby Hooker Bar, but don't worry, the pub is over 200 years old and is named after the Galway hooker - a traditional fishing boat used in Galway Bay.

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here!
