What my Facebook friend Jim Jenkins/James Wyeth/Jim Bo said about my ending. This is a really detailed and creative take on how The Dukes of Hazzard could have ended! You've clearly put a lot of thought into the futures of the characters. Here's a breakdown of some of the key elements and what makes it an interesting conclusion: Happy Endings for Bo and Luke: Marrying them off and having them start families provides a sense of closure and a traditional "happily ever after." The choice of Candy Dix for Luke and Diane Benson for Bo is a nice touch, bringing back characters from earlier seasons. Daisy and Enos: This is a popular pairing among fans, and it's sweet to see them finally get together and have a family. Enos becoming Sheriff and then the "Boss" of Hazzard County is a great arc for his character, showing his growth and eventual leadership. Character Evolution: Luke as a Deputy: Moving to Chickasaw County and becoming a respected lawman is a fantastic development for Luke, showing he can be responsible and good at upholding the law without being under Boss Hogg's thumb. Rosco's Redemption Arc: His transformation into a less villainous, toned-down Hazzard County Commissioner is a fitting end for him, especially after Boss Hogg's death. It suggests he was more of a follower than inherently malicious. Passing of the Torch: The deaths of Uncle Jesse and Boss Hogg signify the end of an era and pave the way for the younger generation to take over. Lulu's New Beginning: Her marriage and new son named after Boss Hogg is a poignant way to honor his memory while allowing her to move on. Legacy and Continuity: The summer BBQ tradition is a wonderful way to keep the spirit of the show alive and show that even with new lives and leadership, the bonds between the characters remain strong. Future Generations: Naming the children after their parents or significant figures (like Jefferson Davis Hogg Jr.) adds to the sense of legacy. Long-term Outlook: You've even considered the eventual passing of Lulu and Rosco, and the subsequent promotions of Enos and Cletus, providing a very comprehensive timeline for Hazzard County's future. Overall, your ending offers a satisfying blend of sentimentality, character development, and a realistic progression of time and change. It gives the beloved characters peaceful and fulfilling futures, while also acknowledging the natural cycle of life and leadership changes within Hazzard County. It's a well-thought-out and charming conclusion to the series!

Just had the most brilliant idea! If I'm ever going to own a Benford Yacht Hat version of the Skipper's iconic hat from Gilligan's Island, it's gotta be through a Goodwill score! Imagine finding one at a thrift store and saving myself a pretty penny! 😂 Anyone else out there thrifting for TV and movie treasures? 🤠🌴 #GilligansIsland #SkipperHat #ThriftStoreFinds #BenfordYachtHat

He plans to do the Reunion movies and Enos. If he can find the whole Enos season at good enough quality. 😀 Sadly though, he doesn't do animation. 😢

We've been getting smoke from the wildfires in Canada heading south in the upper atmosphere. It has created a pink hue to the Moon. Unfortunately if there have been northern lights because of the solar storm, the smoke is blocking them.

Maybe he can do the cartoons or Enos spinoff.

No lol. Been a busy few weeks. Entered my Pontiac G8 into the local British car show . Got a lot of questions on that lol. Phrase I used most was it's originally an Australian car. Been getting that patio pots and planting boxes ready since we had a dry weekend. Then got the usual less than 48hr notice that the patio fences will be painted this weekend so no have to move everything to the center of the patio. So after an 11hour workday I get to go home and do more work moving everything.

After the last episode of The Dukes of Hazzard Season 7 Opening Night at the Boars Nest, which was also the final episode of the series, Bo and Luke get married and start families of their own. Luke marries Candy Dix from Season 6 Play It Again, Luke. They have a son Luke Duke Jr. and a daughter Samantha Candy Duke. Bo marries Diane Benson from Season 3 Carnival of Thrills. They have a son Bo Duke Jr. and a daughter Amanda Diane Duke. Daisy marries Enos, and they have a son Enos Strate Jr. and a daughter Jessica Duke Strate. Bo, and Diane and their children live on Uncle Jesse's farm. Luke and Candy moved to Chickasaw County where Luke now works as a Deputy for Sheriff Little. Sheriff Little softened up and decided Luke wasn't as bad as Boss Hogg and Rosco was making him out to be after all. Luke and Candy and their children live in a house Luke bought with money from his Chickasaw County Deputy job. Uncle Jesse falls ill with health issues, and he passed away shortly after Opening Night at the Boars Nest aired. Boss Hogg passed away shortly after Opening Night at the Boars Nest too. Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane inherited Boss Hogg's empire after Boss died. Lulu met a nice man from out of town. After seeing each other for 1 year, they end up married. They have a son Jefferson Davis Hogg Jr. named in honor of her late husband Boss Jefferson Davis J. D. Hogg the former Hazzard County Commissioner. Deputy Enos Strate is now Sheriff of Hazzard County and Rosco is the new Hazzard County Commissioner. Rosco has toned down his ways after Boss Hogg died. Rosco is less of a villain now than he used to be when the Boss was alive. The Dukes, Lulu, and the Dukes children and Lulu's children all get together every summer for a BBQ dinner celebration in honor of all the good old days and times from Hazzard County's past. Lulu would pass away on February 5, 2011, Rosco would pass away on April 6, 2015. Enos would become the new Boss of Hazzard County. Deputy Cletus Hogg would become the new Sheriff of Hazzard County. This is my version of how The Dukes of Hazzard show could have ended.

Christine Trivia: Alexandra Elizabeth Paul read Stephen King's novel to prepare her for her role as Leigh Cabot in the John Carpenter's movie adaptation. But since the movie is different and doesn't really follow the book, and has only 8 pages of scenes that made it onto the screen, reading probably didn't help Alexandra much.
