There are just some kinds of shows that the alien/sci-fi/UFO crap (my opinion) doesn’t work…and DOH was definitely one! Leave that garbage for Star Wars, Star Trek, and X-Files. Ironically another show, around the same time, that tried the aliens ridiculousness was Miami Vice. An episode called “Missing Hours” ended up being famously known as THE worst episode of MV (in my opinion, possibly the worst episode in TV history)!

I hate to say anything bad about the Dukes..... ......but Strange Visitor was definitely the worst ep. On the other hand...it was a Dukes episode so even at its worse it was better than anything else that has ever been on TV.

Within seconds Miz Tisdale and Jesse have caught Skipper. The three of them are side by side by side battling for third place. Jesse looks in the mirror and sees no other racers except Boss's Gray Ghost 2 which is quite a ways back. Then Jesse looks ahead. Hobie has caught up to Garrett. He is now inches from Garrett's back bumper. Unless they crash each other out it looks like nobody else has a chance to win this race. But ya just never know. This is Hazzard after all.

I feel the same way and as you meet others on here, you'll find out, that Strange Visitor is EVERYBODY'S least favorite!

I watched that one earlier this evening.

In my opinion the worst episode of the entire series was the “Strange Visitor” one. But, there are a few throughout the show that aren’t my favorites.

Right now I'm watching the one where Cooter is racing against the Dukes in Duke vs. Duke.

well I like that one but there are 4-6 I don't like or watch

I’m having a…“German soda” and getting ready to watch “To Catch a Duke”. I skipped “My Son, Bo Hogg” as I’ve never liked that episode.

You've heard people go into their " Happy Place " when sad or stressed etc. well Hazzard is my Happy Place, whether I'm watching it or not! LOVE seems to be one of the underlying themes of the entire show!

and having Enos and Daisy marry.....a double wedding on the last episode!

Hobie now is overtaking a lot of drivers because he's indulging, by taking in some....er.....vitamin A....lol.....he needs to pay more attention to what he's doing though, because right now, he's worried about Meadow.....he hasn't seen her and doesn't even know if she's on the track! Actually I'd give Meadow Mufn a really good price on a little red buggy if she's come by the lot! Maybe she'll come see me in the winner's Circle ( I'm in the home stretch!)

A good way to end the show…she returns to Hazzard towards the end of Season 7, and reconnects with Jesse. In the final episode Jesse proposes marriage & she decides to accept…and settle in Hazzard once & for all (a plot line in conjunction with Boss Hogg supposedly “disappearing”).

Hmmm...maybe that would've been good....??

Watching this one again tonight. I still say Jesse & Lucinda should have ended up together!

In the battle for fourth, Emma pulls up right beside Jesse on her dirt bike. His drivers side window is open and they look over at each other, dropping their speed just slightly. Forgetting for a moment that she is in a race, she blows him a kiss. He politely smiles but is not too excited. Then Emma rides a wheelie for about 100 feet, hoping to impress him. He smiles again and then points forward to remind her they are in a race. She nods, looks forward and they both speed up and close in on the SS Minnow. It starts to look like the battle for third is going to be fierce. Jesse looks at the leaders. From his view it looks like Hobie is catching up on Garrett.

I remember when I was a kid and once in awhile finding a Canadian 1967 penny in my change. Did their other coins commemorate the 100th anniversary? I can't remember them.

watching dukes is the KEY to happiness

Garrett gets worried when his car sputters and swears under his breath before he feels the power return to full throttle. Still worried about what that may have been, he tries to push it out of mind as he looks back and is disappointed to see his lead length shorten due to the sputter. Shaking his head, he does the only thing he can do. Look ahead and shove the gas pedal to the floor and a hint of a smile crosses his face to feel the strong power of Spittin' Cobra back full force.
