I've just spent the evening at a bar (very unusual for me) listening to a couple of local guys playing live music on acoustic guitars. It was a good mix of traditional Irish songs and old favorites. What surprised me was the number of Americans at the bar. The first people I spoke to were from just across the Indiana border from Chicago, but there were three groups from California (Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles), one from Seattle and another from Florida. I know where I live is a popular tourist destination, but I rarely get to speak to the visitors.

At least it didn't do her any lasting damage!

Heartwarming story about the legendary Alan Hale Jr., aka The Skipper from Gilligan's Island! π A family visited his restaurant, Alan Hale's Lobster Barrel, and everything they wanted was out of stock. Despite the inconvenience, Mr. Hale apologized and made sure they had a great meal. And the cherry on top? He paid their dinner bill on their way out! β€οΈ What a wonderful gesture from a truly kind-hearted man. #GilligansIsland #TheSkipper #AlanHaleJr #LobsterBarrel #KindnessMatters

Behind-the-scenes story alert! π± Did you know that Brad Dourif, the voice of Chucky, took his daughter Fiona Dourif to work with him during the recording sessions for Child's Play (1988)? π€― During one intense scene, Fiona thought her dad was really getting hurt and started crying! ππ Brad had to pause the session to calm her down, reassuring her "Daddy's acting, sweetheart." β€οΈ What a sweet and funny story! π #Chucky #ChildsPlay #BehindTheScenes #HorrorMovies

Let's get creepy for a minute... π±π Brad Dourif, the iconic voice behind Chucky, shared some insight into what makes Child's Play so terrifying: 'The reason why Child's Play works so well, is because Chucky is just a doll. Being just a doll, a toy, he looks sweet and innocent, so nobody believes he's a killer. That's what makes it work so well.' πΆπ Chucky's innocent appearance makes him all the more sinister. What's your favorite horror movie featuring a killer toy? π #Chucky #ChildsPlay #HorrorMovies
