I was about to say that those were the only two Semisonic songs I knew, then this one came on as was coming home tonight. 'Secret Smile' is a bit slower than the last two.

This came up on my playlist earlier today. How can it be 25 years old!? Semisonic - Chemistry
  26. Enos mentions of couple of unseen Hazzardites in 'Enos Strate to the Top' when he's listing the important crimes he's solved: "All I could put down was rescuing Mrs. Finster's cat from a telephone pole and finding Abner Peabody's long-johns after the hurricane of '72."
  27. ABNER Peabody
  28. Here's a video about a decisive day near the start of World War II. British pilots, along with help from others from Poland, allies and Commonwealth nations, saw off the Luftwaffe and indefinitely postponed the German invasion of Britain. Among the commenters are actor/presenter Nicholas Parsons, former Member of Parliament Tony Benn, "Forces Sweetheart" Dame Vera Lynn, art critic Brian Sewell and comedy writer Jimmy Perry (who co-wrote the much-loved WWII sitcom 'Dad's Army' about the Home Guard). Some of them were young children at the time, and tell how their view of war went from excitement to horror, but also how a lot of mundane activities continued despite everything going on around them. There are also interviews with pilots and the people plotting the battles. This is "World War II: The 13 Hours That Saved Britain". It's 48 minutes long, but well worth it.
  29. I believe The Amityville Horror. I believe the story of George and Kathy Lutz. Because we don't know what's out there in the world. 😲 😨
