  1. Officer Barbrady, I don't remember this one, do you know which episode it's from? Thanks! LS3
  2. I have season one of MacGyver, but didn't notice those chargers....I think I will be watching that episode again very soon! Thanks for the heads up! LS3
  3. look i met coy and hes very nice personWelcome to the boards Passions5981. I don't think anyone means that they "Hate" the actors who played Coy and Vance as people, I think that when people say they don't like the Coy and Vance era they just mean the episodes with them in it. There are a lot of reasons why people don't want to see the episodes with Coy and Vance, but a lot of people also realize that if they hadn't been tried in the show, the show probably would have been cancelled, then we would have lost the Dukes 3 seasons earlier than we did. I'm sure as people the actors that played these characters are very nice. LS3
  4. I agree with Dale and Capt_Redneck, I don't think we should ban Bamamedia. But, please Bama watch your language, this is a family site. I'm sure that out of the 25,000 or so kids at DukesFest, at least some of them have found Hazzardnet. I would hate for their parents to get the wrong impression of this site, based on the language in some of your recent posts. Thank you, LS3
  5. Julieduke, Here is a link to Christoper Hensel's (Jeb Stuart Duke) information from the International Movie Database (www.imdb.com) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0962225/ Unfortunately it doesn't look like he's done much other acting. His last listed appearance was in 1984. LS3
  6. They have not yet released Enos on DVD or tape (as far as I know), but from reading other posts, I know that this is on a lot of people's wish lists, mine included. LS3
  7. Hortense was one of those family members that showed up once and were never heard from or spoken about again ('course then again, Coy and Vance were never mentioned after they left either...). The strange thing about Hortense is that Boss refers to her as Lulu's sister, but it is never mentioned that it would also make her Rosco's sister, in fact in the scenes that she is in with Rosco, you can't tell that they are even related! Family members (from most of the main families in Hazzard) would appear once or twice, but would not be talked about in any other episode. Examples: B.B. Davenport, L.B. Davenport, Nancy (Cooter's daughter), Hortense, Abraham Lincoln Hogg, Jeb Stuart Duke, the Comfurts, Aunt Clara, even Hughie Hogg. I can understand not bringing them back in for other episodes, but an occasional mention would be nice... Unfortunately, continuity of this kind was rare on the Dukes, there are very few episodes where there is even a reference to a previous episode. Though I suspect that this is part of what makes it easy to broadcast the series 20+ years later...it still seems like a "fresh" series, since there are very few things that date the series, and because they don't reference other events, you don't feel lost if you view one episode without seeing the others... LS3
  8. Dukeboy12-13, If you're referring to the "Double Zero" as seen in the first reunion movie, it wasn't in any series episode. Most people assume that the reference to it being the only car to ever beat the General Lee is intended to be taken as something that happened after the series ended. LS3
  9. Regarding the scheduling of specific episodes, from what I can tell this is how CMT is broadcasting... The show that is on at the later time is the next episode in the series and it is re-broadcast the next day in the earlier time-slot. I like this way, even though it will take longer to get through the series, since that way if you can only watch one time-slot, you get to see all the episodes. LS3
  10. I'm not a fan of Coy or Vance, and I think it was unfair of WB to ask them to clone Bo and Luke, but I am grateful that WB did not simply cancel the show when John and Tom did not return to shoot Season 5. Okay, so season's six and seven were not the best - they were still the Dukes of Hazzard, and I will buy each of the season's that WB releases - even 5. LS3
  11. I am so glad that John kept signing all day on Sunday, even though he didn't have to. I was one of the lucky ones that got in to meet him after they had tried to officially close the line. I got a late start on Sunday and didn't get there until about 12:45 only to find out that they had "closed" John's line an hour earlier. I walked away disappointed, but was wandering around the autograph tent later when I heard that there was a possibility they may re-open the line. I decided to try my luck since one of my "missions" on this trip was to meet John. I was about 30 back from the "closed" barrier that they had up when they started letting people up by ones and twos. Then, right before John went on stage they announced that in about 5 minutes they were going to fill up the line inside the autograph tent one more time, and that if we wanted to wait for about 45 minutes, until John got off stage, we could meet him. I decided to wait...by this time I was about 20 back from the front, it wasn't until they actually let us into the tent that I was sure that I was going to get the chance to meet John. I am so glad I waited. I only got about 45 seconds of his time, enough for him to sign the cast picture I had, and to snap a polaroid, but it was enough. I've now met all living Dukes cast members (except Peggy Rae). I'm so glad I met John. It was about 4:30 by the time I got in, and he was still smiling and seemed to be having a great time. Dukesfest 2005 was a great time!!!!!! Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaw! LS3
  12. I think most Dukes fans have a great deal of respect for Uncle Jesse - his "preaching" as you call it, is the backbone of the family values that are at the core of the Dukes of Hazzard. LS3
  13. I was one of the ones that stood in line for 4 hours to ride in the General Lee - and let me tell you - it was AWESOME! They were taking out groups of between 6 and 11 cars at once, following a pace car so things didn't get too out of control...and even with that my driver said that he got up to 90 a few times that day, including my ride!!!! They spun you around the track a good 4 times (half-mile track), so the ride was about three minutes long, but at 70 or so miles an hour, your legs are still shakey when you get done with that banked oval. I would guess that close to 2000 people got to ride in the General yesterday, since they were taking between 25 and 40 people at once, and we still had to wait 4 hours...there were enough people behind me that they probably waited another hour and a half to two hours after I finished. To all those General Lee owners who volunteered their time for this special event - THANK YOU!!!! LS3
  14. Thank you, Alexrules, I am horrible with years on Fords. Chevy's and Oldsmobiles I can usually make a pretty good guess...but Fords...forget it. LS3
  15. I believe that there is a scene in part 2, after Bo takes off from the farm, he goes to Diane's RV and she has just come out of the shower (I think) and they kiss. I don't remember the scene happening exactly as TVTome described, but this is a fairly suggestive scene... LS3
  16. Sauerkraut goes great with Bratwurst, Keilbasa, hot dogs....dang, making myself hungry! LS3
  17. I'm not 100% positive, but I believe it was a Ford Mustang. LS3
  18. I believe it was: "Breaker One, Breaker One, I might be crazy but I ain't dumb, Craaaazy Cooter comin' at ya. Ya'll home on the HazzardNet? Come on." The "ya'll" was occasionally replaced with something like "All you Dukes" or "You Duke Boys". But that was the gist of it. LS3
  19. Bo was usually shown as being pretty naive, but he did have moments of wisdom - he grew up some after the first few shows. This movie does make them both out to be buffoons - including Luke, which is just wrong - as he was usually seen as the wisest one of the clan (next to Jesse). As for the show being cheesy - maybe it was, but it's still a classic, I'm well past the age of 5 or 6 and to this day, I think the show is cool - I catch something every time I watch that I didn't catch before. LS3
  20. I don't think the idea is so crazy - in fact I think WB would be smart to do it that way. Sure, a lot of Dukes fans will buy Season 5 to complete the set, but there are going to be a number of people, probably a whole lot, who will not buy it because it will have mostly Coy and Vance episodes. If they packaged 5 & 6 together, then more people would be likely to buy it and simply skip any episodes they don't want to watch. I think it would be a smart way to get season 5 into people's hands without getting into the "I hate Coy and Vance" debate. And it would be especially smart if they gave a discount on the two seasons together. LS3
  21. Check out AutoTrader type magazines, swap meets, car shows...I'm sure that there are online sites too, but I am not sure what they are. I found a Charger at a swap meet a few years ago that I would have loved, but they wanted a lot for it and it needed a lot of work, just to get it in working order, nevermind turning it into a General. Unfortunately, it seems that with the number of Chargers destroyed during the show, Chargers are higher priced because they are in high demand. Even in bad shape they command a high price. LS3
  22. I always liked Miss Tizdale - it was so cute how she was sweet on Jesse LS3
  23. Peggy Rae was also in an episode of the first season of "MacGyver" (Episode is "Every Time She Smiles"), it's one of those appearances that if you blink you miss it. I did a double take the first time I saw it. LS3
  24. I found another "most annoying" character last night. Melanie DuBois from "Miss Tri-Counties". I thought Diane from "Carnival of Thrills" was bad, but Melanie annoyed the heck out of me! LS3
