  1. Yes, correct- I'd love to make these guys aware of HazzardNet and get them to help promo it to get some more traffic going here! M
  2. I found this recently- its only been around since June of this year. Very fun to listen to- a nice mix of car talk and a review of an episode. There is a new one about every 2 weeks. http://podbay.fm/show/1120485668 600x600bb by mommydawn2000, on Flickr
  3. I'm looking for that mix of crowd noise and un-distinct country music that they typically ran in the background when other dialog was taking place- the same kind you reference as being heard outside when a character is outside. But you bring up a good point- a loop of the 'speed trap victim' songs would be good to add as an alternate. I could up one of those banners outside as well (Tonight only: The Oak Ridge Boys). M
  4. I need the name of an episode where there was a good bit of ambient noise/music in the Boar's Nest without specific dialog. What I want to do is creat a loop of noise to play inside the Noar's Nest model I am currently building. When anyone gets their face close to the model to look at details, I want them to hear the 'good times' going on inside. mark
  5. I could swear I saw something about shirts years ago- was I hallucinating?
  6. At the moment I'm concentrating on finishing the outside of the BN before I 'go back inside' to decorate. Wow, this place went through a lot of changes over the years. In addition to Boss' office switching sides of the building (reflecting a change in the interior sets), all the outside details move constantly. The outside lights, number of hubcaps, the type and location of the gas pumps, number and location of the planters, and loading zone signs. And this isn't even counting the differences in the Georgia and Hollywood buildings! So, instead of trying to match a particular configuration or season, I'm picking my favorite features seen throughout the series. The funny thing is I don't think anyone else (except maybe HossC!) will know the difference!
  7. Thanks folks- as usual I have to give a shout-out and 'yeehaw' to HossC for his help on this as well. I'm stealing (with permission I guess!) his sign art. His take on the building dimensions and details was also very helpful. Yea, I could do it myself but I certainly couldn't do it better and why reinvent the wheel! It also adds another level of satisfaction to pull in the help of the HNet community on these projects. Untitled by mommydawn2000, on Flickr

  9. Here we go again! After Cooter's Garage, the next natural place to stop in Hazzard is the Boar's Nest. Like the garage, this is such an iconic location that I had to do this one the same way- detailed inside and out. I'll keep posting more as things are completed. 10. Not dark, but Cooter's Girl was a pretty serious story that added a lot of depth to Cooter's character.
  11. Great work Andrew! Much appreciated! Here is the Dead and Alive Monaco: dead alive monaco by mommydawn2000, on Flickr
  12. Yes that is the one night shot I can recall from the whole series! M
  13. Boss Hogg is the only one in town who has his car washed every day.

  17. Friday update: Good News! Good News!! Ben is out of surgery and the Dr. Is very pleased. Looks like it will be a pretty long recovery but I promise to take good care of him so he'll be back in the tow truck asap:) thank you from the bottom of my heart, Hazzard Nation. You really did make a tough time a whole lot better! XXOO Miss Alma
  18. Today's update: Hey y'all, Miss Alma again...first let me say that Ben is genuinely overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers and concern from old friends all around the world. Although he says he is in " a heap of hurtin' " he is very happy despite the pain and as y'all know he is a tough ol' bird! There has been a slight complication and the surgery has been postponed until tomorrow morning (we hope) so Bless you all and Thanks for your love and kindness.
