I don't know why they call it "rebooting". It's not a computer. Usually, it ends up being a show by the same name, with the same character names, but everything's pretty much different. LOL.

I love collecting misheard lyrics. I thought I'd start this thread for all you music fans to post your favorite misheard lyrics.
Elton John is one of my favorite sources of misheard lyrics. One of the funniest has got to be the song "Bennie and the Jets". The original lyric is "She's got electric boots, a mohair suit", but it sounds like "She's got electric boobs, her mom has too". LOL. And that's how I always sing it!

I'm a li'l late to this thread, but I just wanted to add a R.I.P. for Jerry here. For years, I had a line from Amos Moses in my sig and have added it back in memory of Jerry. My husband and I are fans of the Smokey and the Bandit movies and we have several CDs of his music. He will be missed. I won't be mourning his loss, but rather celebrating his life...

The "war on terrorism" didn't start after 9/11. Though it came to the forefront then, this is technically a decades old, if not millenia old, battle. I don't think we "entered" the war on terrorism. I think we just woke up to the fact that they were already "warring" with us and we decided not to just sit back and take it anymore.
I can't think of a single war we've fought that DIDN'T have flawed intelligence and incomplete strategies. LOL. That's probably why the old adage "war is hell" still rings true today despite our high tech weapons and modern intelligence gathering techniques.
The hell of it all is, we have to succeed EVERY time, while the terrorists only have to succeed once in order to achieve a victory... which is killing infidels.
I completely agree with Brian (for once) in the thought that our best hope is by spreading Democracy and capitalism through the wonder that is Wal-mart to the four corners of the earth. Maybe then everyday low prices and the opportunity to buy tires and tube socks in the same building will soften the hearts of the extremists and they'll spend more time shopping and less time killing. Walmart, we salute you!

It's crazy around here and where my sister's family is retiring in Idaho. They got in at the right time. The week after they bought their new home, prices went up $15,000 and a month later, they were $50,000 more!! We were going to move too, but that'll be too rich for our blood by the time we're ready. But the good news is that our house is worth almost 2x what we paid for it 17 years ago.
