  1. As far as I’m concerned, Dukes will always be one of the best family tv shows that ever aired, and let me say, I’m not a dad right now but I hope to be someday, and I want to share the love of Hazzard County with my kids, whether I have good ol boys or good ol girls, Hazzard is for everyone!

    One Word Song Titles

Here's something a bit different - some Irish indie folk music. I don't think I'd heard of Kingfishr a year ago, but yesterday the radio station I listen to announced this as their listeners' song of the year. Killeagh (pronounced 'Killa') is the hurling team that one of the band members once played for. He said he'd write them a song if they made it to the final, and they did. The top comment on YouTube says "This makes me proud to be Irish, which is weird since I am Norwegian".

  6. Right on Tom !! You are a real cousin here in Hazzard! What you just said, proves you have the right heart of a Hazzard citizen!

  7. With Cooter’s Last Stand having happened, are events still a regular occurrence? Someone needs to keep this going for generations to come, Hazzard will be forever.

    Friday Night

Well, you guys know Friday night was when TDOH came on TV and every Friday is DOHD ( Dukes Of Hazzard Day) , an international holiday! Well, as Hobie, I'm going to do my part celebrating, by buying some Jack Daniels and pretending it's some of Jesse's Finest! Then I'll come back here to the house and watch several episodes, while imbibing! ( wooo! Imbibing !! That's a big word! .....I'm glad I've got my college boy learning or I'd never even know what that word means! LOL! ) ......When I use more the 2 syllables a word, I'm tripping in tall cotton, so you guys watch out for me!

I loved the earliest episodes the best when Rosco was still a little serious, but you can't help but love the goofball he was later, too.

  13. Well I just got done watching the evening news for the first time in a while, and it makes me nostalgic for the days when tv stations would sign off after prime time shows. Bring it back y’all, we live in an age of information overload, and even though I’m apart of the techy Gen Z generation, I honestly long for simpler days. That’s why we bought a vintage 70s landline phone for our house phone, I’m sick of too much tech. Why don’t kids get off the stuff and play outside in the mud and drink water from a hose again?

  14. These photos were taken as we were pulling into the event on Saturday around 11 am local time. It had been raining for much of the previous afternoon, night, and earlier that morning. It was a muddy first day.

  17. A month ago, Dave Moore, the DJ on the morning radio show that I listen to, had a dream about writing and recording a Country Christmas song. He enlisted the vocal help of Clodagh Lawlor, one of Ireland's youngest award-winning Country Music stars who also presents a Country Music show on the same station. He revealed the song yesterday morning, and it's both fun and catchy. BTW. "Quality Street" refers to a box of candy, and a "Tayto multipack" refers to potato chips - both will be found in a lot of Irish homes at Christmas.

That’s a big 10-4, I’ll always watch out for you cousin. Amen and I’ve started going through a rewatch with the pilot and then going through the early days of Hazzard County, man those first episodes truly stand out. Makes me wonder what we’d have had if the show had stayed in Covington and not moved to Burbank. Hmmm….

  35. I'm really not sure what scale we're talking about here and what body you're planning to use.

  36. If you could find one of the old pedal car General Lee's you could take that body and put it on a little go kart. Not 100% they made one but WB marketed the heck out of the show so wouldn't be surprised.

    Hazzard Square

With the Netflix deal and possibly others on the table and Warner Bros likely to face new ownership, I’m kinda nervous for the future of the Hazzard Square, I hope it’ll be safe but I’m anxious for it and what could happen.

  43. This is very in The Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee PlayStation 2 and Xbox. From the cutscenes of the mission General Confusion. Rosco:"I got 'em down by the river Boss! Khee khee khee!" Enos:"I got 'em up by the Coal Mine!" Boss Hogg:"How could they be in both places at once?" 😂 Luke:"An' still be standin' right in front of you." 😂 Boss Hogg:"An' still be standin' right in front of- Aaah! You! But how'd you-?" 😂 Bo:"Practice." 😂 Luke:"An' 3 General Lees." 😆 That mission General Confusion is based on the TV series Season 2 episode Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough when they had 3 General Lees to fool Boss Hogg and the Jethro Brothers Simon & Roby his new partners in crime for the episode.

  45. I made a new friend, Gary from Pennsylvania. He is a Ford parts guy. This is his 1979 F150, with a souped-up 460 and 36,000 original miles. It was a show-winning quality pickup, and I'm glad he parked next to me.
