Should I add them to an external url or my photo album on here? Also big news, big news. Not sure if shared this yet but found myself a girlfriend and she’s actually joined this site. Trying to get her into Hazzard, one jump at a time. Yee Haw!

We've had another week of rain here, although not too bad where I live. I don't think I've ever been close to experiencing wind chills of -30F (that's about -34.5C). At least you've got the coolest day of the year to look forward to - cool!

Never ended up getting that cold because we never had real high winds. Looks like the big storm is done. Hopefully that will be the last one of the winter but probably not.

When I was growing up in the UK, Heineken's slogan was "Refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach". Apparently they used this from 1973 to 2005. More recently they've been sponsoring international sports like football (soccer), rugby and F1. The F1 adverts have concentrated on the "When You Drive, Never Drink" message. Here's one with ex-F1 driver Sir Jackie Stewart: The newest F1 adverts are for their alcohol-free Heineken 0.0 brand. Sadly, it was announced earlier today that Heineken are cutting 6,000 jobs from their global workforce. People just aren't drinking as much lager as they used to.

Andy Sumner...he ran a photo/camera shop....I think we're going to have dozens more minor characters than we do major ones!! ( By the way....is Hobie considered as minor character ?? probably!)

OK, My fellow Hazzardites! It's DOHD and I'm about to indulge and start up my DVD. I'm going to watch " Dukes In Danger" and then go back and watch " Nothin' But The Truth". I've just acquired some more.*Sh...Sh...Sh..ine from my car lot*....and hopefully I can make contact with you here in a little while....I'm about to get the DVD going and the party started! I hope all the citizens of Hazzard are doing well and celebrating the holiday tonight! * You need to hear Hobie say this in your mind.....can't you just hear him?? LOL!

Well, I'm going to be watching TDOH soon but I DO have to get my wife to work about 30 miles away at 6:00 am tomorrow....but...THEN........she's off again Sat.! Hey are you guys like me? I'll watch episodes of a certain season and sometimes over and over ! It sometimes takes me weeks to get through one season!

I'm about to watch some DOH and I can't decide......maybe I'll celebrate DOHD, 2-3 times this week! ( although Friday is ALWAYS the official holiday! ) My wife was off today and tomorrow and so... Besides all that, remember back in sept. I had surgery on my Esophagus AND a hernia! TODAY was my last day to go back to see the Dr. !! He gave me the go ahead on everything! ........whatever I eat etc. .....but I still have to watch carbonated drinks I'm going to get back into my martial arts soon too!!

It was a rough January. The weekend is supposed to be bad here on Lake Erie but a major warm up is on the way for the entire eastern US! Yeeehaww!

Well the pre season race was supposed to be this past weekend to give me some relief from my withdrawals, but the dreaded winter put a halt to it as they had to post pone the race due to SNOW! So in turn the race is now tomorrow (Wednesday). Weekend schedule for 2026 Clash at Bowman Gray | NASCAR 12 more days until Daytona!!!!

This is the exterior, the front half of this building is the Boars Nest laundromat. y’all that’s right, guess the Boss has a laundry business on the side.

In the second photo, you can see more of the bar, including the booths. And in the third shot you can see the stage, where I’ve been told live bands come in from time to time. You can also see this place wears its Hazzard County pride well, with those Dukes Of Hazzard Posters, and even a General Lee 1/18 behind the bar.

Well here we go, this is a start anyways. Thank you to Meadowmufn for the assistance too, in troubleshooting the uploads. Y’all, this is The Boars Nest, located in a pretty little town called Cardinal. It’s got a lot of heart & soul. A lot like Hazzard.

Could have wind chills as low as 30 below zero tomorrow. I'm so lucky to have a wood stove in the basement. That way our pipes won't freeze if we lose electric. Supposed to be the coolest day in 3 years.
