I’m over a month late to this but I just made my second visit to cooters in Luray on May 1st. I was passing through anyway so it was a perfect stop to eat and rest. It was my first time trying the restaurant but it was amazing. Unfortunately all the events were happening at the Nashville location but it’s always an awesome visit. I’m exhausted as well we did 3,000 miles.

Jesse is really excited about this race. He has never been one to embrace technology but is making an exception. After Rosco caught Elon Musk in the celebrity speed trap, Jesse and the boys broke him out of jail and in order to return the favor, Elon agreed to fix up Emma's dirt bike and convert it into a technologically superior racing machine that is only programmed to dominate races. It simply cannot lose. Unlucky for Emma though she broke her collar bone jumping a 60 foot wide creek two days earlier so asked Jesse to take her place. Filled with confidence that technology and AI simply cannot fail, Jesse was already daydreaming about that kiss Emma was going to give him in the winners circle.

An excellent suggestion by cousin Roger, was to start a new thread for the annual race this year! I thought...YES! That's an excellent suggestion! I'm going to smoke cousin Roger! No matter what he says! I've invented a new engine for the Moonshine mauler! It uses gas or shine equally well! I'll be communing with the spirits, while running the race and if I start running low on gas, instead of a pit stop, I'll save/make time, by pouring shine into the tank without having to hit pit road. You guys don't stand a chance! I'll have the most powerful engine and not have to make pit stops either! I'd like to see Garrett beat me this year!! Ha!! He better get a move on! I'm also going to use a special kind of shine that gives a racing engine extra kick! I'm going to watch that episode where Jesse uses Shine to beat a female revenuer......help me out brethren....what episode/year is that....you know name, episode, year etc.??? I'm lost! .....Cut me some slack....I lack to never found my way off the track last week while I was practicing!! ....so I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer!

I just added a new type of fuel to my Moonshine Mauler! It's mostly made of shine and it makes a car go twice as fast! I'm going to try to market it as Uncle Jesse's Gas Treatment!

None of the likenesses are great in that game, but that deputy looks more like Burt Reynolds and doesn't sound like Cletus.

Well I know Daisy will kiss me at the end and ride around the track with me on my victory lap1 I was hoping Garrett would be coming by for the start of the race but if he doesn't show until later, it's up to him, to make up the distance! I guess we can start it tomorrow! Make sure everyone knows on the CB.....broadcast it! We'll start out at the Boar's Nest, as usual and then circle the track ( about a mile around) and see who ends up at the Finish first! ( At the Boar's Nest of course!) It's only a 400 lap and not a 500 lap race.....I'm not sure certain people can keep sober for 500 laps! LOL!!

Sweet! I'm definitely going back. Hopefully one of the big events will be a weekend I have nothing else going on.

While I was reading Roger's birthday wishes to Denver earlier, I realized that we'd missed the 100th birthday of Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln Hogg last month!

you got that right! Me and the Moonshine Mauler mean business!! We're gonna mop up the road with you guys and then party on Hobie's shine after, at the Boar's Nest!

Hobie already got a kiss from her as he took off from the starting line! ( That's in case his kiss with Daisy doesn't happen! ) I gave her a Moonshine Kiss......she likes my Moon recipe, says I make THE best shine! NOW!! A little more prep on my machine and on with the race! Maybe I shouldn't have given Emma a Moonshine kiss.....1. NOW I'll need to concentrate on winning the race and... 2. watching my back for Cousin Roger's Revenge ........Cousin Roger's Revenge.....sounds like one of those Sat. evening shows down at the movies!! 3. Emma might like my shine so much she becomes an alcoholic!

Maybe his win will bring you luck in the Moonshine 400. There is a lot of pressure on the returning champion.

I missed it...but my Chase Elliott did win it and I was and still am excited about it. He's a great road racer so I am hoping he'll go for two in a row!

Jesse is here sitting on the dirt bike and his only job is to put the kick stand up when the race starts. Everything is going to be done remotely by Elon in his office and by Emma who is looking down from the peak of Iron Mountain. This is going to be an easy win for Team Tisdale. The bike has been programed by the biggest tech genius in the history of the world and it's only command is to win the race at all costs. Emma's role is actually pretty minimal. She is really only going to be there to make minor adjustments and take the remote controls as a back up if something goes wrong.....but that is not likely to happen because technology is superior to humans and nothing can possibly go wrong. The race is in the bag. Jesse can sit back, relax and let the Elon Muskcycle do all the work. High tech is gonna shine in the Moonshine 400. You people who are stupid enough to not believe in technology are gonna learn how superior it is.

Well....I'm here at the starting line and I'm gunning my Mauler's engine, to warm up! I'm about to take off and I'm waiting on everybody to show up! I'd hate to win by forfeit! LOL! It looks like I may not have to worry about Garrett beating me this year......don't know about the rest of you! I got Daisy and Emma on my side! LOL! ( Roger doesn't even know....or have a clue! )

Here's a short video with Stephen Fry explaining what he thinks are the differences British and American comedy. They're certainly very different, but both can be very funny. Watching the "Americans React" videos has shown me how few British comedies most American have seen and how it takes a while to get used to the different tone before they get into them and appreciate them. I hope I'm encouraging some of you to look at shows from outside the US.

HEY!! Somebody needs to holler at Garrett and tell him the race is going to be in about 24-26 hrs....!! That's why I'm working myself to death getting my Manifolds re-worked and my over head cams cleaned!! I might let you guys know more about my special fuel additive later on.....when it's too late to do anything about it! Ha! Ha!! I'm putting in new plugs and air filter and even a new oil filter!!!

By the time me and Elon are done modifying the dirt bike it's going to be more dangerous than the mean green machine. Emma's honor needs defended and I'm just the man to do it. Sorry, I'm a little late with my Miami Grand Prix summary, but the result changed slightly after the race, so it worked out in the end. As before this season, Kimi Antonelli didn't get the best start, and was passed by Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, although Max almost immediately had a spin which lost him several places. In the opening laps, Kimi briefly retook the lead before Charles got it back, and then Lando Norris took second from Kimi. As that was happening, Isack Hadjar hit the barrier and Pierre Gasly flipped over before landing the right way up. Both drivers were fine, but it brought out the safety car. When the pit stops came around, Charles had a slow stop which slipped him back a little. By about the mid-race point, Kimi got past Lando and Max (who'd pitted earlier). In almost a mirror of Max's first lap, Charles had a spin on the last lap and lost a couple of places. At the checkered flag it was Kimi in the Mercedes in first for his third win in a row. Behind him were the McLarens of Lando and Oscar Piastri ahead of the other Mercedes of George Russell. Max fought back to fifth, and the video linked below shows Charles ending up in sixth, but a post-race penalty dropped him to eighth behind Lewis Hamilton and Franco Colapinto. The race highlights are here. There's now a 3-week gap until the Canadian Grand Prix from the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in Montreal.

Sorry Hobie but kisses on the CB aren't real kisses so I'll let it pass without a fight this time. They sounds like real kisses but lips have to actually make contact in order for them to count and she's on top of Iron Mountain. Which reminds me, I'm going to have to wait at the finish line for her to come down after my easy win to get that kiss. Are you sure it wasn't Grannie Annie who smooched you? Happy birthday to my hero Uncle Jesse! You have been a great mentor for everybody around you and it has been a pleasure to look up to you all these decades. Garrett shakes his head behind the wheel as he hears of everyone's plans and bragging. He had spent all year bettering Spittin' Cobra and while everyone is planning on ways of cheating to win, he knows he will win by his expert mechanical and driving skills. He is happy with everyone's false sense of confidence as he already feels win number two in his steady hands.

Skipper is at the starting line in his 1968 Shelby GT 500 with the Minnow in tow on the flatbed trailer. The Professor has souped up this car with Coconut Moonshine gas. Soon as the starting gun is fired or the flag is waved or the handkerchief is dropped er however y'all do it in these parts. It will be Eat my dust y'all. Bye bye. 😂

This was great! I think Hobie, Cooter and a few other characters ( us! ) in Hazzard need to work on building a highway straight from you ( Hoss) , to us! It was funny when he talked about the "Knobs". You guys have neat ways of expressing things! The highway can even be part of next years Moonshine Run! Do you guys have Moon over there? What's it called?

I don't even know why you folks are even bothering racing. Didn't you see what I wrote? Elon Musk has rigged the dirt bike up with the latest tech. It simply can't be beat. Just hand Jesse the trophy now and cancel the race. It will be a complete waste of time since the winner is already known before it even starts. With Jesse on the dirt bike and Emma at the remote controls at the peak of Iron Mountain and the backing of Elon Musk and the most superior technology known to human beings, I'm declaring Jesse the winner right now. It's over before it starts. You can go home now. Just hand Jesse the trophy first.

Did you watch the WURTH 400 in Texas? That was ok but neither one of my drivers won!

After the opening races of the F1 season were dominated by Mercedes, Kimi Antonelli could only qualify in second for the Sprint race yesterday, sandwiched between the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. In the race, Kimi lost out at the start and McLaren went on to finish first and second. Although Kimi fought his way back to fourth behind Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, a penalty saw him relegated to sixth behind George Russell and Max Verstappen. Cadillac have improved slightly to be competing in the mid-field. The sprint race highlights are here. In the qualifying for the main race, Oscar Piastri came close to an early exit, but eventually put his car in seventh. At the front, there are four different teams in the first four places. Kimi Antonelli got pole ahead of Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. Qualifying highlights are here. If anyone's planning to watch the main race live, please note that the race time has been brought forward three hours to 1pm local time due to a predicted thunderstorm.

Hey Garrett! It's good to see you bud! Hey, just remember OUR race, the Moonshine 400! Remember last year? You were the winner! This year you will need to defend your championship! I plan on giving The Moonshine Mauler an extra .....uh special tune up.....just to make sure you don't rough me up right at the last, like you did last year! LOL! We have iced coffee as an option here, but tea is a hot drink. It's a staple in the UK and Ireland. Until I started watching these videos, I hadn't realized how rare kettles are in American homes. I think one if them said that the lower mains voltage in the US means they take much longer to boil.
