How can they cancel reruns of the original 1979-1985 7 season 147 episodes TV Series, because of the Confederate battle flag on the roof of the car GENERAL LEE, but yet, they find it ok to show the 2005 movie version remake? The movie was pretty immoral compared to the series but it is permitted to remain. Well, Hollywood and modern culture seem to like immorality. Maybe that's why the regular Dukes series was banned. It wasn't immoral enough. That makes about as much sense as anything that is happening in our culture. When they cancel our culture there won't be anything left that doesn't have the stamp of approval from Oprah, Ellen and AOC. 1% of our population has complete control over the other 99%. floyd012010 Posted January 30, 2023 Report Share Posted January 30, 2023 We all knew how the 05 movie was going to be with Stiffler and Johnny Knoxville. It was the average raunchy comedy that was of that time in the mid 2000's but the General Lee held up his end when it came to the car action. I have to give it to them as the way they filmed the car scenes was new and made the car stuff look so awesome. And Jessica Simpson looked great to me but she doesn't hold a light to Catherine Bach.
