RogerDuke
Awesome pictures as always! I especially love the real Boss with the cartoon Flash.
Roth Potter
Thanks a Bunch Roger. This looks like it has been taken inside a soundstage. The curvature above the most left man's head would make me thing it is the Dukes barn, but I don't remember seeing such a big shed next to it.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I'm not sure but it looks like we see the back side of a building on French street and part of the Hazzard Country courthouse on Midwest street. If so this would be in front of Rhuebottoms of the paint store. It looks very busy on set.I have this poster at home, had to import it from the USA. Very nice one. Way too big to scan it in to get a better picture though.Very interesting job of cutting off the edges. Cathy looks very sexy on the roof of that General Lee. This outfit was used quite a lot of time. I can remember it was in at least 3 episodes but I think she wore it in more episodes.Looking at the lighting and the background I'd say this is in a studio with a printed background behind. Roth Potter
Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. You can clearly see the full rollcage used in the jumpcars here. Very nicely timed picture this is, exactly flat in the air or how you would say that.I'm sure I never posted pictures of Coy and Vance both topless. I think this is on Midwest street, where they are exactly I think is next to the county building. What do you do when it's hot on set? Exactly, you play with water. This picture is one of John's own pictures.I'm pretty sure we have seen this or a similar looking truck at least one time on Dukes. I wonder if this is the watering for the episode 'The Runaway' S02E14 where it almost is the whole episode whet on the roads.I think this is on Lake Sherwood. This seems like they are having some sort of Dinner in the farms kitchen.Weirdly enough there is some sort of black thing blocking the left side of the living room and they are eating on a round table instead of their normal rectangular one.I wonder why they were dining there. Roth Potter
I'm very sure you know who this guy played on the show. Tip: He played a doctor.Daisy in preparation for singing the anthem in 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' S03E04.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. This is just 1 or 2 seconds taken after the take of picture I posted some time ago which Hoss tweeked very nicely.I think this is at Rhuebottoms. I don't know the episode but I suspect it is from before season 5.
HossC
I think this is at Rhuebottoms. I don't know the episode but I suspect it is from before season 5.It's from 'The Hack of Hazzard' near the end of season 3.
Roth Potter
Thanks Hoss!Original from ebay user Greenjeepwrangler. This jump was done more then 1 time. As we see it was one time with a pickup next to it but we also see it in another episode Where Daisy is supposed to be Vivian steward which is in the episode 'Heiress Daisy Duke' S06E13.I don't understand why there suddenly are so many gorgeous jump pictures. Hoss, could you please use your magic on this picture? Please?I believe I ones posted a picture where we see this from the front. This is clearly from the episode 'The Sound of Music - Hazzard Style' S04E15 as we see Mickey Gilley in the foreground. Could those men in the background be background singers and/or people who play an instrument in Mickeys band?Original from the Dutch Dukes of Hazzard forum. Its a bit too long to translate all for me but If there is something you find in the article you want translated just ask. Roth Potter
Thank you so much! Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I thought jumping over the billboard was done at Lake Sherwood, but this car seems to have a wide pushbar which was only used on Valencia Oaks as far as I know.Filming for 'Daisy's Song'. Now we can also see the picture I posted before of Cathy having her hair done was here.Beside the boom mic almost all filming equipment looked different back then. The Dukes in China? I believe that sort of smiley face is a Chinese letter. The clothes look like they are for John's 'Back Home' special, but what does that have to do with China?Yes I know, posted before. But way bigger now.I think I finally know why Boss is in such a weird stance here. Remember the episode where Boss had so much back problems? He is holding a cane and looks like his back is starting to give problems. Does anyone know which episode this actually was in?
Roth Potter
Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I thought I heard in the interview with Tom Sarmento most driving on two wheels General Lee's were small blocks as they are more easy to balance.I have a feeling this is at the X-shaped intersection on Lake Sherwood. When I read this I think it is from some sort of Dukes of Hazzard kids book.I think this is one of the first picture's I've seen where we clearly see the old California police cars before they are being transformed into Hazzard ones. Roth Potter
Thanks guys. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.A little bit further into the jump. I wonder if they are from the same camera being so close behind each other.Original from hollywoodphotoz on ebay.I think this is from the TV show Alice where Boss and Enos come on set to buy their restaurant. Our famous transporter. I wonder if they were going to the junkyard or arrived at a filming scene? The cars look alright to me but driven as seen by the mud.http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2863/12487870374_e6074d92f0_o.jpg/img]Enos had a kiss from Daisy and Rosco got mad about it? I don't remember Rosco being mad at Enos after he got a kiss, but then again I don't know from which episode this is.
Roth Potter
Here is the last one from the previous post...I don't know why but I have a feeling this is in front of the Duke farm in season 3 or 4.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. That car looks like its totaled. This must be taken after the race or I wouldn't know why Amy is holding the trophy. This is the last picture John took before they started filming the Dukes. This is inside his room in the Holiday Inn somewhere in October 1978.
HossC
This is the last picture John took before they started filming the Dukes. This is inside his room in the Holiday Inn somewhere in October 1978.I flipped the image to get a better look at John's shirt. At first I thought he might be a fan of the old tea clipper in Greenwich, London ...... but then I remembered this :
Roth Potter
He was 18 so I'm not surprised he wore this shirt if I'm honest. Nice find though.

HossC
Roth, I know you didn't ask me to remove the watermark from this picture, and it was harder than the previous one, but here it is!I also had a go at color correcting this picture from the same post:
Roth Potter
Thank you for removing the text Hoss. Also, you did a very nice job on the other picture, the colours now pop out much better.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I always thought Miss Riverton County is way prettier then Melanie Dubois, and I still think that.I find it weird that Miss Riverton has no credit whatsoever though being quite a big as a contestant.Does anyone here know her name? I have a feeling I've seen here in another movie.this is from 'Miss Tri-Counties' S04E24.Obviously this is from 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' S03E04.I see a motorcycle helmet, mostly it was bo driving the motorcycles but I got no clue from which episode this could be.I think this is in Georgia. Could this be the crew moving cars to Starr Recording? But why three cars? I would think they only needed two, a stunt General and a close-up General. Hobie Hartkins
Yes, Ms. Riverton Co. is pretty hot stuff!! Maybe they didn't credit her, is because she didn't do any speaking??
Roth Potter
I don't think your correct there. When introduced in the Boars Nest she says Hi. It's not much but more then nothing.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. As you can see the there is a hole in the wall. So this is probably from that episode with the fur coats which Boss stores in a closed Rhuebottoms. I believe that the bad guy in this episode is also played in Knight Rider episode 'Knight & Knerd'. If that is the case the picture is from filming of the episode 'Trouble at Cooter's' S04E10. IMDB doesn't tell anything about fur coats or Rhuebottoms in that episode.Another picture from the episode 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' S03E04.Yes I know, posted TWICE before. But so much bigger this time. The name of the picture is boingeorgiaset, So I guess this is somewhere in Georgia. The rod doesn't seem like anything from the show. IMDB doesn't tell anything about fur coats or Rhuebottoms in that episode. The episode is 'Trouble at Cooter's' (IMDb's summary starts "A beautiful fur thief named Bonnie Lane ...". The bad guy, Russ Mitchell, is played by Steve Sandor, who also played Mac Gifford in the Knight Rider episode you mentioned (top, right). The lower left picture shows him playing Burt in the A-Team episode 'Pure-Dee Poison' (S02E17) - the storyline concerned an illegal moonshine operation. The lower right picture is from the CHiPs episode '11-99: Officer Needs Help' (S04E11). Some of the other '80s TV shows Steve appeared in include a second A-Team episode, T.J. Hooker, Hunter, Hardcastle and McCormick, and three episodes of The Fall Guy.
Roth Potter
Thank you Hoss.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I think this is in a workshop. You can see something sticking out of the back of this General Lee and there seems to be some sort of iron part taped to the leaf springI wasn't sure if I posted the Byron pic before so I'll just post the whole image. The same clothes as in the other shoot where she sit on the roof. I'm almost 100% sure it is from the same shoot.I don't remember seeing Jesse wearing that jacket.
jaak
Thank you Hoss.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I think this is in a workshop. You can see something sticking out of the back of this General Lee and there seems to be some sort of iron part taped to the leaf springIt could be a steel cable. They used these when needed when the car had to come to a halt, say at the edge of a cliff, etc.One episode you can plainly see use of a cable is the episode 'Carnival of Thrills'. When Bo is doing a practice in the General and he hits the ramp and the tire blows out, and the General comes to a screeching halt at the end of the ramp...look closely you can see a steel cable attached to the back of the car. They use it to go all the way to as far as they can without the car going to far. Not saying this car was used in 'Carnival of Thrills', but used in a similar scene.Keep the awesome pics coming,Jason
Roth Potter
Thank you for explaining Jason, but I would think this steel part sticking out of the back would never be strong enough to stop a car the size of a Dodge charger. When I watch Carnival of Thrills again i'm going to look for the cable.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I'm not sure but I think the letters on this General Lee are the first ones used on the show, the font type I mean. This car looks very clean and there doesn't seem to be any damages on it. I think this car was used as the Hero car.Yes, you see it right. Cooter with glasses. You would think this is the picture I posted before but smaller. That is not the case. This picture is from the known photoshoot in 1978 but the most visible difference is that Cathy is holding her hands in a different position.Hobie, why didn't you fix this car before you sold it to the Dukes? Look how big a leak that car has. This jump is from the episode 'Goodbye General Lee' S04E11. It's too painful to tell what happened in the episode so you can find that here. The General Lee jump in this episode is this one. I think this is also the only time we hear the Dukes or anyone else say on the show they need to change the weight in the trunk to balance the car.It is only now I notice the jump is as the X shaped intersection at Lake Sherwood.
