BoDuke82 Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Friends the other day I was listening to Waylon's greatest hits and I realized we lost a legend. All of his songs are incredible. They take you through every emotion and back again. Quote

MaryAnne Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 I agree too. One of my favorite YouTube vids is the performance of "I'm a Ramblin' Man" from the Live in Austin, Texas CD (and DVD) from 1989. I think it's the opening number as he asks the audience, "Y'all say yer ready?" They cheer that they are. And he says... "ehhh, I ain't." ROFL. Then launches into a great version of that song. Definitely missed. Quote
waikiki23 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 I miss him too. He was a great singer! Quote

Uncle Jessie579 Posted July 2, 2015 Report Posted July 2, 2015 His earlier song that I like is "Only Daddy That'll Walk the Line". It was done in 1969 I think. Quote
Uncle Jessie579 Posted July 4, 2015 Report Posted July 4, 2015 Waylon had a song that I liked. It was called "Only Daddy That'll Walk the Line". I enjoy that song every time I would hear it. Quote
RogerDuke Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 I was watching "The Canterbury Crock" last night and there was a scene where Daisy wasn't answering the CB......... "probably because she had that Waylon tape in." Yep, I sure missed him when I heard that. Quote
