HazzardNet Anagrams

Featured Replies

I was going to follow up my crosswords with some Dukes related anagrams, but the best I got for 'Dukes of Hazzard' was 'Soaked hard fuzz'. Then I started entering HazzardNet members' names into the online anagram finder. Here's some to start you off - are you in there?. If you're not there, sorry, some names don't lend themselves (mine included), and others may have been overlooked in this first set. Obviously any numbers and punctuation in names have been ignored. Please post replies with any you manage to solve.

Our red keg

Woman fumed

Retro cannibal

Ye carnal ornament (full name used)

Bald porn vet

Print overload

Raked gutter

Eyed a dunk

Grand peon

A home jiggle

Muse bad joke

See midday auk

My leaky duel

Crack den pet

No axle jacks

Some names have several good anagrams - I may post more if this proves popular.

Honest, MaryAnne, it was an accident! Rosco was chasing me and the poor baby hen ran right under my feet and I stepped on it. Blame Rosco, not me!

  • These are just way too tough for me so I haven't been participating. Whatever part of the brain that is needed to solve these must be severely underdeveloped in my noggin because I just don't have the

These are fun....and tough!

My favorite is the second one.

I'm struggling with most of them but I'll write down names and go back to it later.

Great idea HossC. Too bad folks like you with short names (and only one vowel) can't make the list!

Woman fumed?

Well, sometimes. Usually when MaryAnne trips over the power cord and HNet goes down.

I think this occurrence is now part of HazzardNet folklore. If I added the extra 'fi' to your name you could be 'Wife of mud man'.

ROFLMAO. Ye Carnal Ornament? I'll never look at the Deputy in the same way again. SNORT!

Well done for spotting this. There were a couple of ruder ones, but they may be a bit strong even for the Hazzard Swamp:D. My intention was to amuse, not offend. Did you find another moderator with an unhealthy appetite?

Raked gutter? Well at least my gutter's cleaned out. :)

Well done - I was hoping people would post when they found themselves (or each other). I didn't have many choices for you - all these dang Dukes with Ks in them:) - I didn't even attempt any members with 'Hazzard' in their name.

:) Thanks ... was glad to find my name in the mix. Sorry for the K...not my fault they put a K in Duke. ;) Any name with Hazzard would be difficult to do, not much with a z in it. Looked through a few, think I found Roger's, but that was about it. Maybe Daney's if I remember right. . .

ROFL. I figured out mine when you noted the ful name used. Heh!

Ye Carnal Ornament. Well, there goes my reputation!! ROFL

It was either that or 'carbon latrine'. You're obviously too good at these - I'll have to come up with some more.

He's a retro cannibal in a carbon latrine. ROFL

Mufn's really good at this. I didn't even recoginze Brian or hers until reading through the thread. Other than figuring out mine I figured out which one is Alex Jackson.

I'm trying to figure out who the Grand Peon is. I thought that was supposed to be my other title... Khee!

Clue: I've omitted the number from the end of this member's name.

Your other title could be 'A nylon ant creamer' or maybe you 'Ran anomaly center'.

I'll put these on the solved list:

Our red keg

Woman fumed

Retro cannibal

Ye carnal ornament

Raked gutter

Eyed a dunk

Grand peon

No axle jacks

So these are left:

Bald porn vet

Print overload

A home jiggle

Muse bad joke

See midday auk

My leaky duel

Crack den pet

While you're thinking about them, here's some Dukes characters/places:

Characters (not actors):

Forgave Joshing Feds

Honing A Global Charm

Ant Stereos

Polar Concertos

Robot Menus

Poetry Meter

Proven Doctorate

Boy Clapped

Places/locations/businesses:

Shortest Bean

Mud Freaks

Attic Policy

Italic Colony

Smooth Brute

Clue: I've omitted the number from the end of this member's name.

A nylon ant creamer sounds like a fancy culinary tool that would be found on the late night infomercial. LOL

Ran anomaly center. Despite that, I still go into the ditch every now 'n then. LOL

I dub thee the Grand Peon of HazzardNet. We don't have any swords for the ceremony, so whacking you with a nightstick will have to do. LOL. The Deputy will do the honors. :depufight:

You gave me a good chuckle before breakfast with this one.

Well done Jami Lee - that's another ticked off. There's still 2 relatives of Cooter to find (and 2 others).

Anyone started on the new ones posted a couple of days ago?. I thought Meadowmufn might have got at least half of them by now.
