They're driving a dark Blue Ford Maverick and they're lookin ornery. I suppose they're gonna look a lot more ornery once they find out that farm's abandon. I don't know what they're gonna do but I'd hunker down Luke in case they stop there looking for directions or in case someone else directs them your way. In the meantime, I'm gittin' outa here. They ain't gonna be too pleased with yer Uncle Jesse and I didn't bring the shotgun with me. Now, I wonder where Bo's at.

Uncle Jesse...Uncle Jesse...Bo are you hearin' any of that? *thinking now was not the time to be at odds with each other* Bo come back...

*sighs, going to the driver's side and leaning in, picking up the CB*

And leave Uncle Jesse there alone?! *exclaims, shaking his head* And possibly get ourselves shot?! How's that gonna help anything?

Hopefully we'll get to 'em before they get to Jesse....*explains* Unless you and your infinite widom has any better ideas....

Well why dont we just get Uncle Jesse and get off there before they show back up again. *replies curtly*

I can't go anywhere...in case you're forgettin' you took my half of the car! *says with a hint of anger in his voice*

*snaps back*

You comin' to get me or not?! *snaps his face flushing the hairs on the back of his neck standing up in anger*

*throws the CB down, not answering him and going back to the engine of the General* Is everythin ok Cooter? I gotta get back to the farm an' get Uncle Jesse...

C: *nods pushing back his hat* Just go easy on him...these backroads are hard on an engine...

*nods a little* Ok, thanks Cooter. *quickly shuts the hood and slides into the driver's side, starting up the engine and heading out*

Uncle Jesse...do you read me...Shepherd this is Lost Sheep One do you copy, over? *sighs throwing the CB down angrily when he got no response*

Now listen boys, I don't think it's a good idea if I try and come back to the farm in the pick-up. I'm heading over to the Back 40 and then walking down the trail from still sight number 4 and sneaking in that way. I'll hide the truck in that patch of golden rods by the swamp on the west end of the Back 40.

In the meantime Luke, load up the double barrel shotgun.

*grabs the CB* Jesse you be careful...*hurries to do as he asked, loading up the shotgun and making sure there were dynamite arrows for the bows*

Now you be careful Bo. I got no idea where them varmits are going after they see I shucked and jived them. Don't take any chances 'cause them boys got guns and they're meanier than a mess of hornets.

I read ya Shepherd, I'm headed up to you now...

*pacing nervously back and forth, longing to go help his uncle and feeling helpless-a feeling he hated*

Now hold on a second Bo, if you pick me up in the General and them varmits see me with you they're liable to start shooting at you too. I'm a thinkin' that I should stick with my plan of heading out to the still sight. I'm almost there now anyhow.

*sighs heavily, shaking his head as he knew that meant he had to go pick up Luke....the last thing he wanted to do at the moment was sit with him in an enclosed space and listen to how much trouble he apparently single handedly got them all in*

*sighs pacing nervously having a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach*

*parks truck near still sight, gets out and then stops in his tracks as he remembers he left a CB walkie talkie with new batteries behind truck seat*
