Mistakes (Bloopers)/Things I've Noticed About The Show

Recommended Posts

Did any of y'all catch the blooper in Season 4 Double Dukes?  When Rosco tries to arrest Bo & Luke along the road side with Daisy, Cooter & Uncle Jesse present, when the boys make their getaway when Daisy faints and Rosco catches her. When Rosco says "Ooh But Daisy-" Luke reaches in the General Lee and grabs the wheel but in the next shot he's grabbing the roof instead before sliding into the driver's seat.

OK....remember Ace Parker was the # 2  used car salesman in Hazzard county. Waylon said, " There weren't no others, but ol' Ace just couldn't be first at anything!"

OK......but what about ME???    ( Hobie Hartkins!)  I'll guarantee I've been around a lot longer with my lot full of little red buggies,  than ol' Ace has!! LOL! :)   ( I just realized this mess up a minute ago! And I haven't even had my  Adult Beverages  yet!!  :) ) .....I'm about to though....in a few min. !!

I just caught a blooper in Miss Tri-Counties. When Bo & Luke catch up to the black sedan and stop it to fight the bad guys who kidnapped Daisy, Bo is driving when the General Lee cuts them off. We see his yellow shirt. When they climb out the windows, Bo gets out the passenger's side while Luke gets out the driver's side.

I just caught a blooper in Find Loretta Lynn, when Squirt got wet jumping off the roof trying to land on Bo & Luke, and he landed in the water trough. He got soaked. But when he crawled out of there, and runs after Bubba who's driving Loretta Lynn's motorhome, saying "Bubba! Wait for me Bubba! Bubba slow down!" He's not wet. He's magically completely dried off.

It's one of my top 10 episodes. I can't believe I never noticed that! I've never been one to pay attention to details. Thanks.

If I'm watching a full episode, I don't always pay full attention. I tend to notice mistakes/bloopers when I'm getting screengrabs. This is partly because I'm paying much closer attention, and partly because I'm looking at a laptop screen next to me rather than a TV screen across the room.

I just caught a blooper in Enos Strate to the Top. When Enos says "That's them!" And chases the bank robbers, he's wearing his uniform jacket. When the crooks jump and land in the quicksand bog, his uniform jacket is off. When he gets out, and walks over the hood of his car to warn them "Quicksand!" And flips the sign around for them to see, he's wearing his uniform jacket again.

I caught one in Season 3 The Hack of Hazzard. When Rosco drives off the road to get away Daisy's Jeep Dixie sitting there in the middle of the road after the Gold certificate thieves took Daisy with them. Rosco's car driver's door has the County Sheriff star on it, but the Hazzard County strip on the bottom of the door is missing.

I'm not sure if this is blooper or not.

In 'Sittin' Dukes', Luke says, "Must be a fire over at Bearlake Woods."

The guy in the helicopter then sees the General and reports, "I think I've got them spotted over Miller's Meadow and Bearcreek Woods."

It just seems odd that there would be two places with such similar names on top of each other.

I found 2 in Season 1 Mary Kaye's Baby. In the chase with McQuade & Leo, first Luke is driving, then Bo, then Luke again. Luke knocked the passenger side door off of McQuade & Leo's limo. But when McQuade & Leo show up at the Duke Farm, and get out of the limo, you can hear 2 doors shut. It should've been only Leo's door on the driver's side that we hear shut.

:previous:

The first half was a mixture of very well-known goofs (spare General Lee parked in the square etc.) mixed with some that were new to me (like the cup on Daisy's hood). I wish it had continued like this as the second half seemed to be more focused on Coy and Vance's departure from both the regular show and the cartoon series. I'd have to agree that while fun, the cartoon series could've and should've been more coherent. I don't remember the cartoon series being shown in the UK, so I only got to watch it when the DVDs came out. They could easily have included more accurate historical and geographic references as they made their way around the world in a logical order without spoiling the nature of the episodes. The video above completely ignored all the goofs from the cartoon series that I've previously highlighted in this thread.
