John Schneider is in USA Today (Feb 5, Life section) The story features how much work his new manager is finding for him. His manager's name is Steven Jensen. Hmmm, is there a connection here? He sounds like a good 'ol Hazzard boy.

Jensen's Bridge--"The Meeting"

Jensen's Cave--"Bird's Gotta Fly"

Jensen's Hollow--""The Ghost of the General Lee"

lmao they put John's smallville character as Jonathan Clark...what doofuses wrote that article?! JONATHAN KENT PEOPLE!!!!

I was thinking the same thing when I read it. Obviously the person who wrote the article isn't a John fan.

The General Lee was in USA Today too (Friday Feb 15) They did a story in their television section about TV cars. The General they showed was not from a clip of the original series (by looking at the people in the background). They also mentioned John Schneider's recent sale of his General.

And there's Jensen Ackles how worked with John in "Smallville" and now is on "Supernatural". Looks like the name "Jensen" follows John were ever he goes.

I believe by the time Jensen Ackles was done with Smallville he was on opposite sides of Jonathon Kent. Check out the the season finale of the fourth season to see what I mean.

The author of the post was not a John fan, nor was he a fan of Superman. Does anyone know how they came to name their foundling Kryptonian son, Clark Kent?

The Kent name, obvious...Duh. But Clark...Does anyone know how they came by it?

I can tell you how they came about it by the 'Smallville' version of events.

Apparently his mother, Martha, her surname before she married Jonathan Kent was Clark. They had to come up with a spur of the moment name when they brought him home and a sherrif came visitng as they claimed they adopted him. Therefore she used her maiden name as Clark's first name :)

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick response. I certainly knew the answer, I wanted to see how many others knew. And that is not only true for the series Smallville. According to the Wikipedia, they cite that as how the Kents came up with his name in the first place. Although there are different versions of how they came to adopt him...lol. It is actually an interesting read, if you are so inclined.
