I like the jumps and car stunts both the Dukes of Hazzard tv show and Smokey and the Bandit movies (1 and 2). It would be interesting to see which car would win in a offroad race. Quote

TimDuke Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 I raced my General against my buddy who had a 77 Black and Gold limited edition same as Bandit and he started to fade after about 110 mph so I won. My 440 isn't too bad on gas.It gets 16 mpg highway which isn't bad,as good as a lot of todays SUV's and trucks. Quote

The General is essentially a built hot rod, motor(didn't they use a Richard Petty motor?), brakes, etc....The Bandit T/A is a factory showroom car. Nothing changed or altered. But I think Bandit's '77 TA would be a worthy opponent for the General. (I can't help it, I have a soft spot for Firebirds and TA's, probably because I own a Firebird LOL)Each car would have it's advantages and disadvantages. Each driver would have advantages and disadvantages. Bo vs. Bo. LOL. We could argue this until Judgement Day but one things for certain, it'd be a heck of a race! Quote
