Is there any sign from where a roll cage was welded to the floor? The 3 chargers that went back to Ca were Lee 3 and the 2 68s built in Ga. So if this is real its either Lee 2 or its the High Octane Lee. From the lack of crash damage to the rear, if it is authentic it has to be Lee 2. Well, according to this it can't be Lee2. Article claims Lee2's roof was cut off when they built the last GA Lee. The stories on the early cars are so intriguing yet so contradictory. https://jimsuva.typepad.com/blog/2019/12/last-built-general-lee-in-georgia.html

It has more twists than a Hazzard County dirt road. Thanks for sharing it JRC99 and it sure is good to hear from you again. And HAPPY BIRYHDAY later this week! JRC99
Reading that again just raises more questions about that last GA Lee. If the roll bar was from Lee1 then what the heck was cut out of Lee1 when it was restored? I'm thinking of making a dedicated GA Lee thread since they're my favorite of all the Generals. Volobrian
JRC99 Only the section behind the seat was removed from Lee 1 and used. The rest of the cage remained in Lee 1. You can see the missing section in the recovery photos.
