HossC Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Enjoy. Do you do anything special to celebrate? Skipper Duke 1 Quote
Webb Posted July 5 Posted July 5 A little late but same to you! I haven’t any had Canada Day plans the last few years but I was sick all weekend so there’s that. Skipper Duke and Tom Duke 2 Quote
Tom Duke Posted July 5 Author Posted July 5 Sorry for the late replies folks, well here in my area, we often throw quite a bash. Rubber Duck Races, Community Wide BBQ, Community Breakfast (early morning) and even a fireworks show after the day is done, just to name a few things. Normally I’m right in the thick of things but this year I had to take a step back because I wasn’t too good health wise. Did still see the fireworks show though Webb and Skipper Duke 2 Quote
RogerDuke Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Sorry to hear about your health Tom. I hope you are better. I think I have a herniated disc in my lower back so I'm in bad shape myself. Belated Happy Canada Day. Did you know there is a Dukes cartoon called The Canadian Caper? Skipper Duke 1 Quote
Skipper Duke Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I heard about this day before. Is this a Canadian version of the 4TH of July? Quote

Oh Roger, that’s not good news at all. Shoot, anything they can do for it? Also thanks for the belated wishes And I didn’t know about that actually, been meaning to look into the animated series more. I know a box set was released by Warner Bros at one time, of the cartoon series. Not sure if it’s still in print or not. RogerDuke 1 Quote

I remember when I was a kid and once in awhile finding a Canadian 1967 penny in my change. Did their other coins commemorate the 100th anniversary? I can't remember them. Garrett Duke 1 Quote
