May 24, 20251 yr I was listening to some of John's music (mostly his older stuff, I don't really vibe wife his newer stuff) and I thought that it would be a wonderful idea to add it to my record collection but wanted to ask you guys two things A: is it even worth it? B: does anybody know a good place to get them from? I know eBay has them pretty cheap, but I still want some other sources Thanks in advance for any help!
May 24, 20251 yr This is just my own personal opinion but I don't think John or Tom are that good. They just got to do their music because of who they were!
May 24, 20251 yr I doubt I would have bought their music if they weren't Duke boys. I don't blame them for capitalizing on that fame.

I maybe would have bought some of Johns if I hadn't known who he was, but like...maybe only a few 45s, not the whole albums

June 3, 20251 yr Number 34 in Atlanta., Them good ole boys are bad, In the drivers seat. Are really good, I also like Roy, and his version of Good Ol' Boys. Tom Wopat also has good songs I dont know as much of them though, Up on Cripple Creek, and Too Many Honky Tonks are my favorites. Probably never would have heard their music if they werent the Duke boys, but If i did still find them I would still listen to their songs. I think there pretty good.
February 26Feb 26 Author I went to my local Antique store the other day and I found a Now or Never record for $8 so ofc I bought it!! I can't send a pic because im on mobile but it sounds really nice!!
