This is my first post and my introduction. I read the 'warning' that mentioned TMI (too much information), and I do tend to go off in a tangent pretty easily so if you ever see me yapping, make sure to tell me and I'll try to tone it back!

 

Anyways, my name is Cheyenne, you can call me Annie if you'd like, I'm 16 and got into DoH earlier this year, I want to say in July? I'm from Arizona but now live in North Carolina USA. I'm homeschooled so I'll probably be online pretty often. I want to learn guitar, I draw, (I'll be sharing often in the fanart topic) and I really like The Beatles/The Monkees. I don't know if you could tell, but my favorite character is Bo!😁😁 And this is my favorite photo of John.😙

Welcome to the HazzardNet. It's always nice to see young people interested in the Dukes. We need people like you to keep the tradition alive long into the future.  How many episodes have you seen so far? Do you have a favorite episode yet? We look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you for the kind welcome!🤗 I'm about halfway through season 4 right now, and I'm not very good at picking favorites, I like them all so far... except the one where Bo was tricked to be Boss's son...that freaked me out a bit.😬

It's great to have you Ma'am! We're a tight knit, close,  family in here and everybody knows everybody in here as " Cousin". Cousin Roger, cousin Hoss etc. We answer each other's questions etc. so if you wonder about anything, don't hesitate to post it!  One of us will answer it! Are you in high school? I was in 9th grade when TDOH ( The Dukes of Hazzard) first started!  Tell us about what you like best about the show and the web site!

Well then I'm happy to be Cousin Annie! Or whatever you guys decide to call me. I was halfway through my sophomore year when I dropped out, so that would put me at winter break of my junior year right now. I wish I could've been around then, most of my favorite things started and stopped before I was even thought of, I can only imagine getting to enjoy all the extra things without having to pay $50 for things or hunting for hours for video clips and photos. That's actually how I found this forum! I was looking for photos to use in a collage and I found the "Rare and Behind the Scenes pictures" topic. I've had this website in my bookmarks for about two months just looking through the galleries and photos people have posted!

Well Cousin Annie, we hope you're  happy here and you'll stay with us!  We enjoy talking to you and meeting other people who share our passion for TDOH

LOL....I agree. That episode is a little difficult to take. I didn't like seeing Bo like that either....pretty strange. I won't give anything away but do you know the dramatic way that season 5 starts out?

Shhh, nobody give it away in case Cousin Annie doesn't know.

The only thing I know about season 5 is that Bo and Luke aren't there because they're put being stock car racers(??) and that for the majority of the season it's these knockoffs Coy and Vance

Quite true Cousin Annie but they DO come back before the end of the season!

Okay, I didn't know you were aware of that. You said you were on season 4 so I figured you were going to be in for a shocker if you didn't know.

found out on complete accident too, me and a friend share the streaming service and she's ahead of me, and i clicked "continue" before setting it back to where I was and watched the entire episode before realizing something was up

It was quite an adjustment for fans back then to get used to Coy and Vance....and quite a celebration when Bo and Luke came back. For those of us who were fans when the show originally aired the folks of Hazzard felt like family....and still do.

And folks who became fans after the show stopped airing had the same thing happen.  I hope you are starting to feel the same way. There is just something about the folks in Hazzard that make you feel as if you know them. Hopefully you will become a lifelong fan and keep the tradition alive. It is a timeless show. 

I tend to hop around interests pretty easily but I too hope this is one of the ones that sticks for me. I get connected to most shows/movies I watch, and this is the second show I've felt connected to more than one character. I usually just pick my favorite at the start and stick with it, like I did with Bo, and he obviously still is my favorite, but I also found myself drifting towards Daisy, I still haven't figured out why. I think it may be because she's the only young woman in the show (consistent. The last time I had a family/community was when I was in JROTC before I dropped out, so if this really is as connected as you say, it'll be nice to have people to talk to again, even if they're all 4 times my age😄😄

I did the same thing. Enos was someone I related to the most. He was my favorite from the start but as I got older Jesse took over. By the time I joined HazzardNet Jesse was definitely my favorite....and always will be at this point in my life. 

I think I figured out the reason as to why I like Daisy so much now, it's deep so I won't get into it without being asked to, but UGH, Daisy is so pretty I love her, I don't know which one I want more, to be her sister/best friend or to be her/look like her... she's.... she's everything to me

Welcome Cousin Annie!  It's great to know there are younger people getting into The Dukes Of Hazzard.  I also love TV shows and movies that were around before I was born.  My favorite character is Boss Hogg as most know.  I hope you stick around and enjoy the family here.
