Skipper Duke
Y'all... When they played Jaws music that 2 note theme when Boss Hogg was on a diet in Season 7 Sittin' Dukes, and made a fishing pole with paper clips with a bent one on the end like a hook trying to catch and eat his pet fish from the glass Gold Fish bowl it was in, and Rosco stops him "That's plain, plumb unadulterated murder!" Boss:"I don't care! I want him! I'm gonna get him!" Did The Dukes of Hazzard makers have Jaws makers permission to play that "Dun dun"? Skipper Duke
"Dukes of Hazzard Fans! Mistake/Blooper or Continuity Error? Spotted in Season 5's "The Treasure of Soggy Marsh": Sheriff Little successfully jumps the ramp while chasing Coy Vance and Daisy. But in Season 6's "The Boars Nest Bears": Sheriff Little crashes into the ramp while chasing Bo and Daisy! My theory: Maybe Sheriff Little upgraded his police car with a heavier engine between episodes? What do you think? Skipper Duke
I'm curious y'all. Why is Hughie Hogg's motorhome only in Season 4 Hughie Hogg Strikes Again? It's not in any episodes before or after that one. Could it be there was no other storylines to fit the motorhome?
Skipper Duke
I wish the Beaudries were in more episodes of the series. 2 wasn't enough. Season 5 Daisy's Shotgun Wedding and Season 6 Boss Behind Bars. They should've been in Season 7 too. Anyone else agree? RogerDuke

Same way with Ernest T Bass. Should have seen more of him in Mayberry. Skipper Duke and Hobie Hartkins 1

Skipper Duke
Hey y'all... That ambulance in Season 6 Brotherly Love & How to Succeed in Hazzard, is it the same one from Season 4 Coltrane vs Duke?
HossC
The ambulance in 'Coltrane vs Duke' was a late-70s (probably 1978) Chevrolet Chevy Van. The one in 'Brotherly Love' was very similar, but the grille and a few minor details were different. I think they may actually have used two different ambulances in 'Brotherly Love' because the one at the hospital has a "63" decal just behind the passenger door, but the one at the end of the chase doesn't. Either way, all I can say for sure is that the ambulances in those two episodes were similar. I'd imagine that the studios (or their vehicle suppliers) had a few of each type of emergency vehicle and added signs to suit whatever show they were in. Dewey's ambulance was completely different being based on a 1979 Ford F-350. BTW. Did anyone notice the blooper with the ambulance in 'Coltrane vs Duke'? Just after Rosco falls out of the ambulance it can be seen making a U-turn in the background, but seconds later when the Dukes turn around the ambulance is back parked on the right. I don't remember anybody here catching that one. Good eye. Hobie Hartkins and Skipper Duke
Skipper Duke
Y'all... I'm puzzled about something in Season 5 Daisy's Shotgun Wedding. When she successfully escaped from the Beaudries cabin in Tennessee and made it to Rosco's car which they stole and drove her there with. After she found no keys in it, because they took the keys out with them after arriving home with Daisy. Why didn't she try to hotwire it to get out of there? Skipper Duke
Hey y'all... That car Eddie drives in Season 6 The Ransom of Hazzard County, is it the same one from earlier in the season, driven by Hobie & Eddie Lee in Play It Again Luke? RogerDuke
HossC
The car is a circa 1976/77 Chevy Nova. This make/model appeared in several episodes of season 6, including being the bad guys' car that's used to kidnap Lulu in the season opener 'Lulu's Gone Away'. Hobie and Eddie Lee crash their car in a junk yard near the end of 'Play It Again Luke', so unless the episodes were filmed out of order, I doubt that it was the same car being driven by Eddie in 'The Ransom of Hazzard County'. It looks like all three cars I've mentioned had different wheels, which could easily be changed, and the one in 'Play It Again Luke' was dark green instead of black (I know they often repainted cars to reuse in other episodes). Skipper Duke
Anyone besides me miss hear Rosco's "That would've killed 10 ordinary men!" line as "That would've kilt an ordinary man!" The first you ever heard it? RogerDuke
RogerDuke
I'm pretty sure he used both those versions in two different episodes. Skipper Duke
