Spike Posted July 6 Report Share Posted July 6 Because for the most part actors and actresses don't sign with one single studio. They sign contracts for Movies or TV shows. Back when studios where just starting in the 1910's, '20's and '30's etc... some actors and actresses did sign multi-year contracts with one studio and could not work for another unless given permission or buying out their contract.
