Hobie Hartkins
First electrified Corvette sells for just over $1 million. Here's who bought it. (msn.com) * For THAT much money they could keep it!
HossC
At least the money's going to a good cause. BTW. The McLaren F1 supercar had a price tag of around $1m when it was on sale in the '90s - they now fetch over $20m, so the Corvette may not be a bad long-term investment. Garrett Duke
I am glad that the money is going for a good cause otherwise it'd be a sin to pay that much...even for Rick Hendrick. Though it is a pretty car. I am happy for him. Just wish he would give me a small slice of that money. LOL. I invested $10 in a single share of stock in the Moonshine 400 back in the 90s and it's now worth 17 cents so that supercar investor is doing better than me. I wonder if he'll be racing it in the Moonshine 400. I'm entering my dirt bike. I hope roll bars aren't required. Hobie Hartkins

Thanks Hobie...because a roll bar would double the weight of the dirt bike and that would slow me down. Besides, it's not really my bike. It's Emma Tisdale's. And she would be mad if I came back with a roll bar welded to it. That wouid make it tough to pull up to mailboxes without knocking them down.
