floyd012010
How many watched the Dukes Friday night?? I started with one armed bandits and finished all of season one today. January 26, 1979 was a day or night that will always be in my memories. I was 5 years old and my mom said I had never sat still that long ever lol. Them first five episodes will always be my favorites since they were filmed in Georgia. Still such a good show. Garrett Duke

The Dukes of Hazzard was so popular back then that it actually lowered attendance at Friday night football games across the country because it was before you could record them. I was 19 and never missed an episode. I was born on the day John Schneider turned ONE WEEK old! Hobie Hartkins

If my mom and dad had somewhere to be on Friday night I went to my maw maws and watched it at 8 o clock eastern time. I had to be in front of a TV every Friday night or there would be a meltdown lol

Wow, it is a show for everyone really. I was only 5 and after that first episode I was hooked. This is one of the main reasons why I wound up with a charger myself. When the show reappeared on TNN in the late 90's I realized I colud aquire a real car instead of die cast and model cars which I have several of those too.
