August 10, 200521 yr We're really liking season 6 right now. It's the one that's been airing on CMT. It has Enos and Bo and Luke in it and really good episodes. The "jump the shark" episodes start cropping up in season 7.

August 12, 200521 yr Author What are the "Jump the Shark" episodes? I read somewhere that John Schneider wrote the last episode of the Dukes. Is that true?

The Jump the Shark episodes I believe are when they start using the minatures when they jump the cars and as for you question about John Schneider writing the last episode of the series he did.

Agree 1000% on that one.....I know most people on here don't like or at haven't seen the first 5 GA episodes. Nothing will ever compare to them - scenery, action, and the real feel of the South...Darrell
November 11, 200520 yr "Jump the Shark" Episode: <n> An episode in a T.V. series that is so bizarre and out of character that it is blatantly obvious to fans that the series is about to end.origin: The episode of Happy Days where the Fonz jumps over a shark tank on waterski's while wearing his leather jacket.DOH examples: Strange Visitor to Hazzard, Robot P. Coltrane.Just thought we'd clear that up. The miniatures were also a clear sign of the series ending. We also agree that the first five episodes were the best.
