I'll tell ya, I was happy to see John and Tom back, the ones who acted as coy and vance were not great actors. The guy who played coy,was too smiley when he needed to be upset or sad.The guy who played vance was o.k.,but there was no chemistry between the 2 of them. At least in the new movie,the new Bo and Luke looked like they were causins forvever. I got most of the dukes on vhs,all except the ones with coy and vance.

well if you look at it as it was the time Bo and Luke ever had the charger,it was indeed the very first jump. Mya not have been the first jump of the first season,but I'm talking about them remembering the first time the General lee came to being, therefore making "Happy Birthday General Lee" , the episode the dukes ever made a jump!

generalkross, Jessica simpson was no where nears anything like Daisy. I don't care how sexy she looked in them outfits,she was no Daisy duke,not by a long shot, and to make it worst,blonde Daisy???? The action was awsome,the driving was hard going and made the General look smart,that I liked. But the movie was way off base with family morals and values of the Duke family. Boss hogg and Rosco were way too serious for my liking,and a skinny Boss,not a good choice since Boss was only skinny twice(episode=happy b-day general) and when he lost his appetite for the lack of business he was getting. jessie would never talk to daisy the way he does in the movie,they should have at least had the red cap and the white ford. Anyways, to each their own,under any other name, this movie would have been great.

Loved that show,and what I loved best is seing James best(Rosco),was Burt reynolds one and only old friend. You could see a different side of rosco in that movie and still recognise his behavior as familiar.

I thaught saw was a dumb movie,how can they not notice all that time the killer was right in there with them. No one can hold their breath that long an not be noticed,come on,what a puts movie.

Well lostsheep, you must be jealous of Bo then....lol! Both Reunions were awsome.I really liked the second one best, it showed how really connected Bo and luke are as causins. the romance was perfect and lukes demise could be felt strongly. I have them both on vhs,but the quality is not the best,but I watch then anyways.

And I thaught it was a 79 trans am! who knows...lol

I heard there was not gona be a KITT,he was dismantled and one of his chips was place in some woman's head. They are talking about introducing KIFT =Knight industry four thousand, If they do that,forget about it. Without KITT,they might as well flop the movie now! There are fighting to have KITT,but some have come up with this for a new KITT! It looks cool,but I want KITT with his super pursuit mode,how much more technologie do they want more then that????

Georgia was the main scenes, but if you can find the show "THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE DUKES OF HAZZARD", everything you want to know about the dukes and hazzard is all documented in that show. Been awhile since I watched it,I have it on vhs,and I think it was a 2 hour show,like I said been awhile since I watched it!

I wouldn't mind being Roscoe,"Judas Priest on a pony" "kue kue.i love I love it i love it!" But i want so much to drive that charger,and i'd make a good Bo Duke,I relate to the caracter real well,sure would be a fun ride to be Bo for a day!

In the t.v. episode of "The life and times of the dukes of hazzard", the director and most of the duke cast were interviewed! In one of the remarks,it was said that luke really didn't have too much driving skills when it came to chases and such. This is why Bo was the main driver,'cause he could really drive. Didn't want to burst any bubbles, but john sneider already had driving skills,more so then tom wopat. It just seem more natural for Bo to drive the General and let Luke get them out of their messes....lol! So my vote is for Bo!

I wish just one time I could meet the dukes ,james best and sony ,that would be my dream,hope it happens while we are still all alive

Hi, my name is Euclide Richard, I am from a small town, born in Richibucto, New Brunswick canada! I am 41 years old and been a duke fan since the age of 1981. My first attraction to the show was the General Lee, then I grew to love the duke familly,their moral and family values meant a lot to the show. As I grew older,I noticed Daisy even more,what a sexy smart lovable woman. The more I watched the dukes,the more I could not get enough of Roscoe and Boss hogg. This show was like an escape from reality for me,I always felt better about things after watching each show.

I also voted for the dukes,but if i read right,the same visitor every 60 minutes that vote the same show again and again will not be counted???? I will try anyways,every hour I will vote dukes dukes dukes.....lol

Well Well capt redneck.you done started an arguement you can't win.....lol! I liked the movie a bit,but not because it was the dukes,because it had nothing in common with the dukes! So what factors here and there. Any other name and it would have been a great movie. Loook what they did with Starsky and Hutch, that movie was more to the real series then the new dukes. Look at beverly hill billies,that movie was more like the real series!!!! So why in the hell didn't they do the same with the dukes!! They could have had clean shaven,no foul language and more familly oriented not too mention more family values. There was no honor or values in this movie. Jessie would never talk that way to Daisy. jessie was suppose to have more value and respect in his little pinky then boss hogg had in his whole body. So don't tell me they couldn't have kept it at least as close to the series as they can. I didn't mind the action or the plot,but the rest...pffffff! Again a reminder,watch beverely hill billies,where granny looked something the same,jethro kept his goofy self and ellie may was ellie may,and jed was jed. It was one heck of a movie,and it was funny and it stayed within the morals of the original, so don't tell me they couldn't have done the same with the new dukes!
